@Clyde_Radcliffe At the time, we didn't know any better as it was literally the best controls. I agree it hasn't aged very well though but I remember playing this when it came out and being blow away. It's a very good article which I'm sure all us N64 launch owners find relatable.

Still much better to get it 2nd hand off eBay. Their first party sales are an absolute joke! Look at the sales MS and Sony do with their first party titles. There's no comparison, Nintendo's games are overpriced as it is so wouldn't hurt to give us a break with a decent sale once a year or something. I want Donkey Kong, still haven't played it but not paying that price for a game that came on an old console

Ps1 had a much larger and better library and cheaper games. N64 is a classic console and the first I actually enjoyed couch multiplayer on but I always went back to my PS1 in the end. Also when I was 10 I got my ps chipped, so had dozens of great games. I will always remember being scared from Doom64 though. I need that back in my life, what happened to the rumoured switch release?
