Gold Points were nice, but physical owners got completely shafted!

• 1 year from release and they didn't work.
• Some games never gave gold.
• Points for physical were way less than digital
• They expired

Skyrim was fully on cart on Switch 1.
Witcher 3 was fully on cart on Switch 1.

Both also had up to then, the most recent dlc as well on the same cart

I have fallout 4 on my PS4, except price, is there anything different with the Switch version?

I enjoyed it immensely.

I kept hearing "horror stories" about the SD reader kept failing in the original switch. Seems to be the same mechanism in this one. I don't want to take that chance.

Except some racing games, I can't stand sports games!
I'd rather just go outside and play it for real than do a digital version.

Because the water effects slow it down. I made a mountain of water and had my town in it. Water coming down both sides.
It slowed frame-rate down to like 10! Looked great anyway.
This way, it probably offers a stable experience.

Look at all the crazy cities that some people made early on. Outside Japanese market in particular

It's complicated. I want Internet here, fiber optic is available. But we are living in a place that isn't mine. Technically it is. But it's part of an estate. So when it sells, we have to leave. And the install fee and early disconnect fee and yearly fee that the Fiber Optic requires, is very off-putting if we were to get it.

I'm buying a second Switch 2.
6 months and

• internal storage is full.
• 1Tb SD is full

One will be for First Party only, the other for 3rd party games.

Dual SD slots could have fixed this!
A better base storage could have fixed this.
Better physical sales could have fixed this.
No key cards could have fixed this.

Does anyone ever actually win these things?

Switch 2 revision in 2027, TV only version with hard drive support, 2 SD slots and Game Card Slot.

In most games I turn the music down to 25 or 30, voices down to 40 or 50 and sound effects to 100

What is locked behind amiibo in Metroid?

I am going to have to get a second Switch 2.
One for 1st/2nd party games and one for just 3rd party.
I will need a 2nd 1Tb card as well.

You forgot *update dock and/or camera

You can't dock the Switch 2 when you first get it, it tells you you need the touchscreen to do a system setup.

So you also shouldn't be plugging power into the dock, as depending on the system transfer, you might need to plug the console in while it's doing its thing.

I don't play sports games and I don't play other racing games other than Mario Kart.

As for fighting games, just Mortal Kombat and Super Smash Brothers. Maybe old Street fighter and Killer Instinct.

With that article headline, You make it sound like Nintendo is done forever.

I have deleted ALL of the games except One True Hero.

Can I run 2 switch 2s at the "same" time?
Like, I'll have one as my main with just 1st & 2nd party games and the other will have nothing but 3rd party games.

I can be logged into both (same main account) at the same time with no issues?

Have you played Ultimate Alliance 3?

It is a much better game!

The game feels a bit too claustrophobic.

The action is zoomed in too much on the characters and the environment seems really small.
