Re: SEGA Knows Fans Want Sonic Adventure 3

Snow-Dust

Their "advancement" is what made Sonic on life support these days and if they dont stop with these advancements, eventually there will be no Sonic.

I think they just dont to make it because the expectations are too high and the team is too shit. If they make a Adventures 3 and fail that, Sonic is truly dead.

Re: Video: More Fire Emblem Warriors Characters Get Showcased in Stylish Trailers

Snow-Dust

@Arnold-Kage Ah well, I feel Ike is more iconic and it seems Intellegent System, the creators of Fire Emblem is trying to push Ike as the face of series in general after Ike appeared on SSBB.

It may be unrelated but it is interesting to note IS acknowledged Ike as the strongest character to exist in Fire Emblem which is abnormal since Marth's title is "Hero King" and Ike's title is "Hero of the Blue Flame" or the crappy English "Radiant Hero".

Re: ARMS Balance Update Is Coming Next Week

Snow-Dust

@VIIIAxel Grabbing are the equivelant of heavy fighters or the splat rollers in Splatoon, they dominate against low level players are very easily manageable to high level players. You just need to throw an arm out when you see the green net and you immediately counter them.

Re: ARMS Balance Update Is Coming Next Week

Snow-Dust

Honestly, the game biggest flaw right now is the lack of story mode. They have some of the coolest designs for a fighting game and what do you proceed to do? Put them in a generic arcade plot... I want to know where the arms come from, I want to know what's everyone's motive is for joining arms, I want to see who their main rival as all fighting games do and most of all, I want to see a CGI cutscene for an ending, not some generic pose on a generic stage.

Re: Feature: The Master Trials DLC - Rediscovering the Joy of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Snow-Dust

I remember there was a user arguing how it's worth paying for the hard mode because god know reason other than a potential new casts of enemies and monster. One with common sense would know hard mode would usually only mean harder hits and different colour variation. I wonder does this user still thinks hard mode is worth paying for now that we know it to be the latter (which should be obvious in the first place)

Re: Reggie Fils-Aimé Defends Nintendo's Indie Support and AM2R Policy

Snow-Dust

I used to support AM2R and fan games but I realize it actually DOES affect companies. I've visit many gaming forums and I've seen too many people saying how they won't buy Samus Returns because "AM2R is better".

Now I can understand wanting to play AM2R over Samus Returns if the latter is a horrible cash grab that probably plays like E.T but Samus Returns by no means look bad and in fact, it looks really fun and amazing, but we still have people saying how AM2R is superior and therefore, won't buy the Samus Returns. This is affecting Nintendo no matter how you look at it.

Re: Sinking Keiji Inafune’s Kaio: King of Pirates Cost Marvelous $3.8 Million Dollars

Snow-Dust

Pisses me off to see Inafune the useless hack attempt to work on anything. Wasn't even megaman's true creator yet he gets all the glory an I absolutely hate his mindset which is to make something that will become a multimedia franchise so that it could have an anime and mostly, the "merchandise".

I think games really need to aim for continuation or into a franchise of games, but that greedy fool only ever thinks about is how to make it sell merchandise, he's not creating games for the lore or the gameplay, it's simply to spawn merchandise.

Re: Nintendo Details Changes Being Made to Fire Emblem Heroes in Early March

Snow-Dust

@BensonUii Indeed, Tharja can 1 shot Takumi easily. Dam you are lucky! you have so many good green units! all my 5* is red except Takumi.

I want a good blue unit too but my best one so far is a 4* Nowi. Im planning to make a Manakete team just for fun since I have young Tiki, old Tiki with nearly enough feathers to promote. Just need that Fae.

Re: Nintendo Confirms Expansion Pass DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Snow-Dust

@Einherjar Oh please you hypocrite, youve been doing that since the dawn of ages and you are having a cry about it, likewise to you who should really revisit primary education to get your basics straight first.

Are these "3 swag chest" not making you pay for it? stop white knighting mate, just stop.

Oh, and your accusation of feeling "forced" does not fall into the same field. Just stop mate, please, everyone is disagreeing with you for a reason.

Is Intellegent System not part of Nintendo? do you HONESTLY THINK that Intellegent system gets the final say on their price module etc?

Also again, doesnt matter. Difficulty shouldnt be charged at all. WHY ARE YOU WHITE KNIGHTING THAT?

Have you ever developed a game? it's not easy to produce anything of fruition within a few months. To release content of that scale, you need to have started at least a year to make all these possible.

Also FYI, throwing these childish insults about reading comprehension doesnt make you right and instead, just makes you look desperate as you stand on your last fragile leg.

Re: Eiji Aonuma Wants an 'Evolved 2D Style' From His Legend of Zelda Handheld Dev Team

Snow-Dust

I always enjoyed the puzzles more on 2D Zelda as opposed to 3D zelda where I want more action, so they really should focus on that. They also should make games (even though by capcom) like the Oracle games again but with more choices and side quest. When I say choice, I mean like the horn to choose your pet (Dimitri, Ricky or Moosh). Whenever I revisit these games, I always choose another pet to spice up the gameplay a little.

Re: Nintendo Confirms Expansion Pass DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Snow-Dust

@Einherjar And now you are just saying that doing these kind of practices is ok since everyone else does it. No it is not ok at all for any company to do that.

Now you are just trying to be a smart ass but is the expansion pack not complete? why is it being released on the day of the game being released? that's not assumption, that's fact.

They did not call Master Quest hard mode, you think if they have something akin to Master quest, they wouldnt go around bragging about it like how they did with Master Quest? it's probably less food you can find on the overworld, putting extra moblins on the map wouldn't take too much time either and the possibility of new enemies will likely be a yellow moblin as opposed to blue.

I dont care what you repeat, what makes you think I have the time to read all your comments that you replied to other people, stop saying that you repeat yourself, when you decide to reply me, expect to repeat everything again as opposed to me reading your white knight comments from before.

It doesnt matter if it's a new difficulty on top of ones already exist. Fire Emblem dont do that, they offer easy, intermediate and hard and also lunatic on top but they dont charge you for that lunatic mode, why is it ok for Zelda to do so?

I didnt say I feel forced, I just say how disgusting it is to do these things. I was going to buy Asura's Wrath but finding out you have to pay to get the ending, I dropped the game. I buy my yearly Assassin's Creed and I never buy any DLC unless they were like Adewales campaign and not somthing like Chapter 12 and 13 or something missing in AC2. Why are you white knighting when it's clearly not ok. You'll then probably cry "b-b-b-but other company does it! so nintendo should too!". NO! that's not ok and just because other company does it, it doesnt make it right. Unless you are one of the console fanboys that will white knight anything a certain company do, are you?

Re: Nintendo Confirms Expansion Pass DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Snow-Dust

@Einherjar You are sure but you aren't confident. Dont count your chickens before they hatch.
If it's complete, why isnt it being released along with the final product right now?
It is only a couple of months away to release them into one big DLC as opposed to trickle some content here and there. If Every company suggest to have your formula of releasing DLC. We'd have content releasing weekly/monthly to release this "cool new skin or extra map feature".
Actually, it would! common business practice is to separate things and sell them separate at higher cost but not so high that it would scare consumer away. Why else do you think buying products in bulks are cheaper. Many candy store do this practice where they let you take a candy for let's say 20c for one candy but when they bought the candy in packets, there was 20 inside and the packet itself cost $2. You keep making prices up out of nowhere and keep thinking they are fact. The content could've been $15 but to get that extra 5, Nintendo decide to make 2 separate DLC to amp up the price of the first one, but not too much that it will deter you.
The fact is these content are already complete! why are they offering them as DLC when it should be packed in with the game especially the expansion pass. A hard mode shouldnt even be considered as DLC expansion. That shouldve been a free update or packed in with the game in the first place. What if games forces you to go through pay walls everytime you want to play a different difficulty other than normal? that would be disastrous.
