Since its first reveal at Nintendo's Switch presentation in January, ARMS has yet to be given an official release date. Stated only as Spring 2017, nothing more concrete has been announced from Nintendo to date. Now Amazon Spain has listed the extendable arm fighting game for release on June 23rd; check out the translated screenshot from the page below:
This isn't the first time Amazon has supposedly given away the launch date for ARMS. Previously the retailer listed the game for release on 2nd May, however many assumed this was a placeholder date. In the meantime it's best to take this news with a pinch of salt until we actually get an official announcement from Nintendo.
Earlier this week Nintendo gave us a character introduction trailer giving us a glimpse of the fighters available in ARMS, so it's evidently continuing to gear up promotion for the release.

That's not spring at all. Hoping this is a mistake and it's coming a bit sooner, as the Switch needs some original first-party titles quickly, and not just ports.
Really? No first-party releases in May?
Well, this does sadly make sense with the August rumour for Splatoon 2; Nintendo would want even spacing between games.
Makes sense. Don't want to drop this too close to MK8. They'll probably then hit us with Splatoon 2 in August and Mario Odyssey in October.
@thesilverbrick That was my first thought too, but it is Q2, which I think they call "Spring."
GameFAQ's has it down for 28th May in Europe. As did the games official page in the days after the announcement before it was changed to Q2.

@jwfurness
Spring is scientifically from March 20-21 to June 20-23 or so depending on the year, in the northern hemisphere, so seasons and quarters largely overlap, but not completely.
I get the feeling I'm closer to the end of BOTW than the beginning. Potential is great, but at some point I'm going to want a few more games to play.
Ideally, for me anyway, this would be a mid-to-late May game and then Splatoon 2 would come out mid June, just the Friday before E3. The reason for that is that Splatoon will be a system seller and being able to say "you can buy now and get play Splatoon 2 free, then gear up for our latest announcements" or whatever.
Mario is almost certainly a November release and that's usually the month for the big year end games.
Hopefully a new Direct will explain everything.
I need additional characters info, release date, traditional way of playing and exact price.
So far, only Springman that caught my interest. Ribbon girl less impressed me, the other just Nah. Need some Handsome & Athletic or Muscular fighter.
Well that's a long way away. Everybody will be up in ARMS about this.
My main concern about this game is not the release date but more its apparent lack of depth. Hope there's more to it than meets the eye...
Here's an idea; why don't we not take random dates from some small retailer as fact?
I'm still expecting a May release.
Finished the main story of BoTw last night, amazing by the way! And I took my time, 70 hours all memories found and divine beasts tamed! And as much as there's still plenty to do, I do feel the need for some more Nintendo in my life right now!!!
@G0dlike We finished the storyline on Monday night, and as much as there is left to do, the sense of urgency is gone. To the game's credit though, this is the first time I've actually felt compelled to complete side quests post-game in a very long time.
@ThePoochyKid
Um... maybe 5 / 12 / 19 / 26 May 2017, consider Nintendo games usually released on Friday.
@BornInNorway81
I understand why you think spring scientifically is from them dates. Using my logic spring scientifically should be from 5th February to 5 May.
May/June time would be about right, the Switch needs 1 big exclusive a month.
So this is how the 1st/2nd party retail games are looking so far
April - MK8
June - Arms
August - Splatoon 2
October - Fire Emblem Warriors
November - Mario Odyssey
December/2018 - Xenoblade 2
Im not even hyped about this game. Just slightly optimistic. And i like the artdesign and colors. But brawler get stale so fast for me.
Yeah i wont really be playing something big until splatoon 2 on my Switch.
Im not even mad at Nintendo. But they become predictable in their disappointment.
This seems way too late, but who knows? This means Nintendo would go through all of May without a major Switch launch after MK8. That seems absurd to me
Though I'm personally on the fence until I see how much content the game has and how physical controls are (I refuse to use motion crap), it would still be a big need to get out
At £50/€50 it's a good price. I thought Switch games had a RRP of £59.99 and I was happy with that.
That's not even spring, spring ends on June 21 (I think). Anyway I don't think that would be right, May 20 or something around that would seem right
Not that I'm not interested in Arms, but I hope this isn't true for the sake of Splatoon 2 releasing earlier since that's supposed to come out after.
So it looks like my Switch schedule is like this then:
April: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Puyo Puyo Tetris
May: Disgaea 5
June: ARMS
Works for me.
@Snow-Dust
Mario Odyssey -> November 2017 ?!
Really ?!
What about the Spring release? Or was that just a clever joke?
As someone has previously commented, this game has some real potential one japan on following Splatoon's success in that country including in its merchandising. Nintendo will really have to market it and should look at trying to release it there at a good point in their calendar.
Lolz at believing unconfirmed Amazon release dates...
@Anti-Matter maybe, why not. Nintendo probably have it ready for the Christmas sale
This game looks so boring.
That's actually great news! It means I can postpone buying that much-hated Switch, because I'll only get it for Splatoon 2 and ARMS anyway. Now I can wait till summer until both games are released.
I am still hoping for a May release...I'm not sold on Mario Kart yet.
If true it's the same day as micro machines comes out on the ps4 so I shall be busy playing that and the weekend after it's crash bandicoot so they will keep me occupied for a while
This is Spain so fingers crossed that it's earlier
@Al_Godoy
Boring ?
I don't think so.
@Anti-Matter
You are obsessed with ripped and topless boxing people.
I was hoping Arms would release earlier in May so June 23 could be more like the day Splatoon 2 launches.
@ProjectCafe
Um.... Yeah.... actually. (Blushed)
Male Boxer looks great in Six pack body and Topless.
Sorry for my confession.... (Blushed)
This is good. Enough time to beat breath of the wild, Mario kart 8, fire emblem echoes and some backlog games.
