Re: Random: Some 3D All-Stars Players Aren't Happy About The Visible Debug Cubes In Super Mario Sunshine

@ComicVoice nice income the liars. Nintendo is well known for not having a work at home environment. They’re extremely protective of their assets. I’m sure it was a very big adjustment for them. If they even chose to adjust early like other devs. Even if you aren’t full of crap, which you are, your statement wouldn’t even apply to Nintendo or anyone outside of your circle, which is fake.

@Slowdive meanwhile Sony is charging almost full retail for a 10 hour Spider-Man game That was probably dlc on a $600 machine but everyone’s gobbling that’s nonsense up. You probably shouldn’t continue the conversation cause you’ll never prove you aren’t just whining as you continue to whine. The ports look great. Sorry they don’t stack up against illegal ports? That’s so ridiculous. And the pandemic has really impacted the gaming industry. I’m sure tons more work would have went into it had the situation been different. But instead they focused on optimizing it and getting it out there for Mario’s anniversary. I promise you the inevitable Zelda version will be much better with more extras and effort put in because they won’t be strained.

@Slowdive go figure March was when work began...right about the time Nintendo went dead silent. Right about the time the pandemic started. Right about the time everyone started acting entitled during a global pandemic. Right about the time everyone said defending something is making excuses? Don’t play the game. No ones forcing you. Lots of people are enjoying it. Meanwhile you just come across like a whiny entitled adolescent.

@everynowandben any other day I’d agree with you. But it’s a pandemic man. They have no choice. What would you rather? Nintendo release nothing? Or make zero money during these months? Cause that just means Nintendo doesn’t flourish which means your favourite gaming company eventually goes away. It’s a pandemic once again, they did what they could.

Alright boys and girls. Here’s a little advice. There’s a global pandemic going on currently and this is very uncharted waters for Nintendo working from home. Perhaps they didn’t have time to polish this but a very likely reason Is because they rushed to make sure there was something for you to play this fall. I’m currently playing this and they all look and play amazingly. I’m amazed this game happened at all. So maybe just stop complaining for a minute and realize what’s going on in the world, sit back, take a breath, and enjoy these games.

Re: Switch Owner Claims To Have Taken Nintendo To Court Over Joy-Con Drift, And Won

@Radbot42 think the issue is more about people not trouble shooting. Admittedly I had a Wii u that I thought was defective. The game pad screen would flicker and have connection issues. I sent it away for repairs and they sent it back saying they couldn’t duplicate the problem, fired it up same thing. Turned out because I was watching Netflix on my Xbox and sitting right next to my Xbox Controller it was interfering with the game pad. Turned the controller completely off and the issue stopped. Pretty embarrassing. But it goes to show. Nintendo probably knows a lot of the joy con they’re getting back simply need to be recalibrated or trouble shot.

I have never had an issue with joy con drift or my joy cons apart from a little connection loss when too far away and having my hands completely wrapped around them(big hands). I actually recently bought a new pair of joy con and was playing Mario Kart with my daughter. My kart started drifting to the left over and over and I was concerned I may have finally met my karma for always doubting this issue is as wide spread as people claim. Turned out I had motion controls on and was simply holding my controller a bit to the left lol. I’m still pretty convinced this is just a bunch of people who simply don’t know how to troubleshoot. Especially when you consider this guy admittedly had very little experience with switch, and it was sent away multiple times. They test these devices before returning them. Are we suggesting that all Nintendo staff just simply realize it’s defective and send it right back?

Re: Feature: So, What Happened To Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Snakesglowcaps

@BenAV I’d say it either slipped off due to COVID or its hidden in there somewhere. They’re going all out for the plumbers birthday. To me it’d make more sense to hide it in the game. You’ve already got a great pack with the three games and you know it’ll sell. No ones saying, no galaxy 2 no buy, ya know what I mean. Just a nice little treat for those who beat them all.

Re: Rumour: Is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Taking To The Skies On Nintendo Switch?

@graysoncharles I didn’t “try to defend the site” I did. My opinion differs from you. If there wasn’t ad revenue or discussions this site very likely wouldn’t exist. And at the end of the day I can’t see what’s wrong with people discussing a possible Zelda skyward sword port, regardless of the probability. If you want to be negative and sweat the details by all means, that’s your opinion to do so. I just think it’s a bit negative to criticize them for this and frankly doesn’t get you anywhere.

Re: PlatinumGames Admits Wonderful 101 Kickstarter Had Nothing To Do With Raising Funds

@ObsidianEleven I could have swore they didn’t confirm it’d be coming in May or whatever it was until after they got boatloads of money. That to me seems a tad dishonest since it was coming no matter what. They held out with the premise that the switch port may not happen until they’d gotten money to make it happen on multiple platforms. I may be incorrect but as far as I recall the game wasn’t confirmed until a large sum had been donated.
