Re: Guide: How To Find The Improved Nintendo Switch With Better Battery Life And Screen

Snakesglowcaps

I bought one and returned it after realizing it was kinda of a silly splurge impulse buy. I was going to give my daughter my old one but decided a switch Lite would better suit her and if she wants to play on the tv my OG Switch is there for that. For some I realize this minor upgrade was a must but just so people are aware the minor performance boost is a myth, and the screen upgrade is very negligible. I did side by sides with my old switch, $400(Canadian)for a better battery when I can just carry a battery pack doesn’t make sense to me.

Re: Frame Rate Was One Of The "Top Priorities" For The Developer Of Daemon X Machina

@60frames-please I’m pretty damn sure CTR and Sonic Racing have been reported to have very stable frame rates. I wouldn’t call stable 30 bad. Since when did 60 even become so important to everyone. Remember when games on 64 ran at like 15-20 FPS and no one said a damn thing. Now that FPS is more mainstream seems like it’s all anyone cares about. I’ll take 30 locked or close too it. 60 is great for sure but even on my one x I’d rather play at 4K 30 than 60 1080

@KBuckley27 to be fair BOTW was a port and I think they rushed it out a bit because of the Switch. I have no doubt they would have delayed BOTW2 to clean it up more, and they did in fact make performance enhancements after launch. With the sequel being announced though it’s not too surprising that we never got another performance update as they’re probably hard at work on the sequel.

@AnnoyingFrenzy love it or hate it the voice overs are stripped straight from the movie. And unfortunately they are fairly low quality sounding as well as the fact that it seems they didn’t edit out the background noise for most of the voice overs, for instance you can sometimes hear running water etc in the background. It’s kind of jarring.

Re: Switch Owners Choose To Play EA Games On Other Platforms, Says Company CEO

EA so obviously does not want to support Nintendo and is going out of their way to get out of it. They have been pretty open about Switch ports of FIFA being lacklustre, they’ve also somehow dropped the ball on so many in game events, advertising them for Switch then reporting they won’t be available on Switch. I think they do it on purpose, something also tells me they probably convinced themselves people would blame Nintendo and it backfired on them.

Re: It’s Official: The Switch Online Service Has Surpassed 10 Million Subscribers

@Kirgo slow down there my friend. I never spoke for you, in fact you made a comment and spoke for yourself. And I find it a bit hypocritical that you can’t acknowledge that a lot of people pay for this blindly because of the switches current popularity. Nintendo doesn’t have much incentive to do more because it’s selling and personally that makes me feel like others are speaking for me. At the very least they could introduce tier’d subs so that people like you could be happy, and people like me who want GameCube games and messaging capabilities could be happy. The point is they can do more, but they probably won’t because everyone keeps paying rather than raising expectations. But don’t you worry, I can appreciate your point as well as mine, just because my comment has likes doesn’t automatically make me a jerk.

My line of thinking is that a Pro model is quite a ways out, or is the type of upgrade that doesn’t force the developers to do anything differently at all. Minor upgrade to GPU and Processor much like the Xbox one to the S. As far as the Switch Mini is concerned I think they’ll need a few selling points for the unit other than a slightly cheaper msrp. I could see it being marketed with longer battery life and a more efficient processer chip. That way they can keep the skus relatively close in price will justifying the purchase in turn.

@gameboy1975 you’re being kind of rude for zero reason. I never fanboyed about anything, and your condescending pet names aren’t appreciated. Listen buddy bro guy dude, I am an avid Nintendo supporter. My point my friend man brochacho is that Nintendo sees more financial success when they differentiate themselves by being unique. For example the Wii, and Switch. Someone had stated that Nintendo will fail if they do not eventually make a machine that rivals the power of the other competitors to which I disagreed and stated my reasons for doing so. I never came at you or was rude to you so I’m not exactly sure why you jumped in and started doing so to me especially considering your comments have very little to do with what I actually said and more to do with trying to be argumentative about...well I’m not even sure what your argument is since most everything you said barely makes sense. Actually further more after reviewing your comment I realized you insinuated that I was a 13 year old boy fanboying over some made up war. Listen compadre girlfriend brother, the GameCube and Wii U were both commercial and financial failures for Nintendo. That’s not made up, when you’re a company and your competitors do better than you, you lose. That’s not something you can make up. I bought both, because I am and always will be a Nintendo fan, so don’t think just because I made a comment about sony or PS4 I’m fanboying because you lack the intelligence to actually properly argue your point.
