@MrGawain Sam Porter Bridges has access to many different types of weaponry, such as a bola launcher, grenade launcher(with multiple munitions), assault rifle, shotguns, and his fists. For all of you pretending to have played it and even further more acting as if the game is a walking simulator when it’s so much more.

@BrandonGiesing ok then yes we agree. I believe game freak did this because they were worried people wouldn’t be down to buy a $60($80 Canadian) game again.
@Bliquid yeah Michael Richards took his advice I guess and look where he is now. Ricky Gervais is also a bit outspoken as of late. He gets away with a bit too much if you ask me.
@Toy_Link I also found Mentioning the cartridge size off. Almost could assume this idiot doesn’t actually know what he’s talking about. Lol I don’t see a switch pro coming any time soon. I think everyone was just looking at the V2.
@PBandSmelly same. My only issues stem from brief disconnects when I’m holding them outside of the grip. Kinda lame but it is what it is. Lots of products have issues like this, my actual switch is sturdy as a rock and hasn’t cracked or swelled or any of the other issues I’ve seen.
@Grumblevolcano there was barely any Nintendo presence at all at the game awards. Something tells me even though Nintendo likes Geoff Keighly they are aware that the game awards has a stigma around it for not being taken very seriously.
This has to be a final push. Nintendo doesn’t like announcing games too early. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot if the game was planned for 2022 or even 2021. I’d imagine every single resource they have is being poured into making it happen for 2020 to compete with the new consoles.
@dugan I 100% it, other than seeds, twice. Although I’ll admit the world loses a lot of its appeal the second run through and some of the content becomes a grind. Probably would do it sooner rather than later if you plan on playing the sequel so you’re not burnt out on Zelda when BOTW 2 rolls around. Especially considering the map will very likely be the same with layout and content remixes.
@CupidStunt I’m just yanking your chain a bit, I actually read it. I’m a bit surprised. I’ll have to watch the video analysis because I’m interested to know how I missed this. I’m a huge fan of DF. I thought the slight performance gains had been debunked and only YouTubers seeking attention. Kinda cool.
@CupidStunt that’s a myth. There is absolutely no performance gains for the V2 switch other than battery life. It’d have to be patched in, and it’s unlikely Nintendo would divide its customer base.
@Doktor-Mandrake you’re a riot buddy. I was referring to the Switch Lite having Joy con drift in the original comment i posted, the comment wasn’t even aimed at the original Joy cons. I genuinely believe Lite users who’re trying to say there’s a large quantity of joy con drift issues already are full of and that those YouTube videos are either very isolated or doctored. There is an active lawsuit against this issue, Nintendo has probably addressed it in the manufacturing of the Lite and is waiting for the lawsuit to drop that on them and make them sound foolish when they start throwing around the Lite drift issues as evidence. Now please go pester someone else. If you haven’t had joy con drift personally the only reason I can see that you’re here is to annoy others. Which I’ll admit you’ve done very well.
@Doktor-Mandrake I doubt the Lite has any widespread issues. And there are plenty of lawsuits that revolve around lies. Adding the Lite to the lawsuit is just another attention seeking act. I have literally not had an issue with any of my three sets of Joy Cons, how does that make me a fanboy? Because my opinion differs from you? I think that everything becomes a big issue now because the internet is toxic.
@CupidStunt well you just didn’t notice them. Which is also good. Some people are very sensitive to frame stutters and hitches. Others don’t notice them at all. I wish I was the later but I’m very sensitive to it.
@nintendolie if you’d watched the DF video they state that over clocking had little to no impact on performance. You also misunderstand how Nintendo is utilizing overclocking. Overclocking in BOTW is being used outside of gameplay to speed up load times. The switch is not overclocked during regular gameplay so thinking that they should just simply overclock it to make Links Awakening run smoother doesn’t make sense. Something needs to be adjusted on the backend to take some stress off of the graphics card. It’s doing to much at once, and it seems to be rendering the whole map. Have you noticed any long load times in Links Awakening during basic gameplay? An alternative would probably be to have load times that are longer between walking in and out of buildings or dungeons or when traversing areas which I’m assuming is something they wanted to avoid.
Comparing LA to BOTW isn’t exactly fair. LA is attempting to hit 60 FPS, double the frames of what BOTW. BOTW also suffers from performance issues that can dip it well below 30, which I personally find to be more jarring than a game that runs at 60 90% of the time and double buffers down to 30 for brief periods of time or only in certain areas. Furthermore I found the dips to be quite forgettable after playing the game for extended periods of time, sure at the beginning it was difficult to ignore but after a few hours I barely noticed it. I think people are getting a bit worked up about an issue that barely changes the game. Sure it’s a con but the rest of the game is incredible, can we not just be happy with that?
Are you even able to free roam in this game? It appears as though you can’t. I’m really starting to think this was a cellphone project that got moved over to switch.
I sure hope Nintendo doesn’t get greedy and one day turn into the likes of Rockstar/2K, EA, or Ubisoft. Part of the charm of Nintendo is that they’ve stayed in the past a bit.
@construx I have a bunch of games I am now going to revisit after this revelation and I have you to thank for that. I think the only thing I played was KOTOR. Maybe the 4:3 aspect ratio didn’t lend itself well to the upscale and I didn’t realize I was looking at native 4K. I really want to play republic commando and Battlefront now.
@Glassneedles haha that’s exactly what I just finished reading it was super interesting. And I completely agree, Xbox is the perfect companion system for my switch if you ask me. Especially with game pass, I find myself checking out indies on Xbox one game pass, and if I really like them I buy them for my switch on the go.
@Glassneedles I’m big enough to admit when I’m wrong. I went back and fact checked. I apologize to both of you. That’s honestly so incredible that I was in disbelief that it could be true. I’m sorry. You were both correct. And the game I believe is $24 @construx
@Glassneedles that game was specifically patched. So once again you’re incorrect. I’m pretty sure anti aliasing is the only thing automatically bumped up. Games without patches remain in their original form. Star Wars Jedi Outcast being one of them.
@Octorok385 same, never had an issue with joy con drift. I did however have a few issues where the joycon would lose connection briefly because my fat hands were all the way around them
@Xelha I love it when people talk out their butt about something they’ve very likely never experienced and only read about online. Even if the drifting issue got lots of press and the media convinced you of it I doubt it was as widespread as reported. That being said Nintendo is a giant corporation with a single goal to make the most amount of money possible. I’m sure they’ve got it under control and have updated the sticks with better components so quit being negative. Time will tell, but it’d be absolute suicide for the Switch Lite to ship with the same defect.
