@BensonUii Don't worry, I'm not getting you wrong either. It's just this topic which is about to explode I think.
But in another game/book/movie with a hero being more developed and alive I would agree (Kinda. A warrior is a warrior still), but what I mostly meant is how Link has never shown a personality. So, why add more now that the hero can be both gender.
But tbh, I don't think I'd want a female hero with Nin because they suck at it. Samus is my childhood hero, now she's wearing latex, high heels and a whip lol.
@BensonUii And why couldn't the story be written just as usual regardless of gender? Link has never been written as a big straight macho (he's actually pretty neutral in every way except good/evil) nor should a girl link be all about butterflies, rose and extroverted emotions. Imo it's pure bs that gender should add any difference to an adventurer such as Link. Except for the little 'she' and 'he' replaced here and there in the script
Beside... Link has NEVER shown any typical male behaviors beside blushing to a big cleavaged-lady. Unless you consider the cartoon in which he clearly wants to sleep with Zelda.
Choosing a gender would be awesome.... But then again, Nin/Japan will piss me off by making her grossly sexualized... Instead of just wearing the exact same clothes.
It's too late for that for me... I wish it'd have been done when Capcom had their fighters in drawings. In 3d cgis, it'll just look dull and common.-- Imagine MvsC1-2 animations but with nin. characters!
They do take a lot of efforts. Just like animation, lots of people go into game making to just realize it's WAY too much work. MM is much simplified and still...
I saw that some days ago. It's ridiculously puny... That delay they had was probably for Guard, mostly.
From those 11 stages (likely an hidden 12th ala Out of this Dimension) 6 will play with the Arwing/Walker, 2 for the tank and 2 for the gyrowing. Some stage offer you to choose between 2 vehicles, so it's highly likely that Venom will be letting you choose between any of the vehicles. The hidden paths which were mentioned, are only paths, not stages; A shuffle in the playlist.
I was sure to buy it.. but after seeing this, I'm fairly sure Star Fox Zero will only be a nice rental.
But also, if these were real leaks, the person doing it would be pretty dumb or careless, considering the professional suicide you'd be doing here. If I were a colleague to that person there I'd probably recognize the table, that window, the tree, the samsung tv.. Of course, all offices looks like that, but not many would be having a 'nx' lying around.
That little 'Confidential Property' sticker is so funny.
It's like finding a cheesy portfolio with a big 'Top Secret' on it with UFO pictures in it.
Although this might not be the NX, it could be a prototype for something else. Nintendo must have lots of prototypes we'll never know about. But it's likely just a prank.. Maybe from Nin themselves, to confuse their rivals, who knows.
But is there new maps to play on?? (not adventure world maps) It's like THE most important thing that hyrule warrior needed more of. Wiiu's getting new characters, which is nice.. but without anything new to play with them is... meh.
Awesome. I'm still playing the heck out of Hw wiiu, and I'm happy they didn't abandon it for the 3ds. I'll probably not buy the 3ds characters for wiiu though.. I'm pretty sure I'll find hw: legend, used, dirt cheap later.
I really, really REALLY hope they used the full power of the gamepad's gyro, like Samus's gunship in NintendoLand. Motion+ level, like splatoon(requiring a reset button) is not acceptable to me.
I can understand people who don't want to hold the gp in the air, just having it laying comfortably on their lap (Needing a reset button), but then what was the point of the gamepad's advance gyroscopic sensors?? sigh
@Shiryu Although, Star Fox snes did have that 2-3 hit invincibility item. I'll be taking it depending on how that item is proposed-- Anything like that white Tanooki suit in 3D World is cheap cheating to my warrior's ego haha..
@invictus4000 And some games you need two of those as the gamepad is not supported in multi, ouch! I'm still keeping an eye open for those controllers in a pawnshop or something second-hand.
@aaronsullivan I have to rant a bit about those gamepad uses though.. Obviously I haven't played it yet, but it just doesn't seem very up to the potential of what two screen can offer. I though Nintendoland offered interesting stuff we've never seen more developed. ZombiU's multiplayer mode had a really interesting and fun use of it.
I hope ZeldaU will not just be a map system.. Because I've never been keen on too precise and overpowered maps/minimaps that feels like cheats, keeping my eyes off the adventure and exploring.
@Yorumi Ahh, stop that, now I don't wanna buy Zero anymore lol.. Although, MAYBE ship customizations and gears has a chance to be in since Platinum have a thing for those (like W101).
@OorWullie That'd be awesome, actually. Team Wolf vs Fox haha.. I don't think they wanted to invest too much into Sf:Zero. (Although, when servers go out, Splatoon will be kinda... well, so light in content.)
@Yorumi You mean a versus mode? Who knows.. We'll soon though. Playing coop is nice though, I'm just hoping it's not exclusively with a pro-controller. :S
@invictus4000 Yeaaaah, I'm wondering about that too... Lots of games I couldn't play multiplayer because of the pro-only support. (Much less frequent with Nintendo games though)
The homage to the original starfox with that Fortuna stage makes me really happy and excited. Guard looks fun, but it's inclusion worries me. Will SF:Zero be a very skinny game?
What about that Project Giant Robot? I was more interested in that one ^o^
I'm a huge metroid fan and I must say I'm still interested in that game. It's not what we want for sure, but I'm not being desperate either. I just think this game could bring really interesting aspects to the metroidverse.
My main complaint is putting the name Metroid in the title.. Galactic Federation Force would have sparkled less flames I think. Less media attention though (Ahh..Money...).
@LetsGoRetro The same trend that's been plaguing movies, maybe? To be honest though, I hardly call that TP:HD a remake, it's more like an HD edition, which is... pretty dull. Metroid Zero Mission is good example of remake.

Re: Rumour: More Claims Made For New Legend of Zelda on Wii U and NX, Gender Choice For Playable Character
@Darknyht You must admit though, that Cross (Your hero in XenoX) could've been almost swapped with Link without any real difference lol. But all the characters surrounding you in X.. That's another thing.. They were cheesy, bland, cliché and lifeless.

Re: Video: Have a Gawk at Keiji Inafune's Super Mario Maker Stage
I'm sorry, but I thought the stages with vanishing block things were horrible. Just one time, alright, but it would always come back.
Re: Video: Let's Celebrate The Hot Mess That Was The GameCube's AV Output
Av is awesome.. I genuinely think crt tvs still have the better colors and contrast.

Re: Random: Metroid Resurrection - The Super Mario Maker Series With a Plot and Marketing
There're tons of good metroid-like stages on mm, but if you're like me and like to play them all, here's mine:

Re: Devil's Third Developer Valhalla Game Studios Goes International and Launches Vancouver HQ
@boopidy That's pretty low.. Unless it works alright for that game. There's probably 6 times that amount still playing Counter-Strike 1 lol
Anyway, I'm still interested, I just hope I can find it on discount or rental before it's too late.
Re: Nintendo Announces Separate Hyrule Warriors Season Passes for Wii U and 3DS

@Dezzy My bad. I think Vancouver is more associated as being the capital of scifi, especially X-Files.
Re: Feature: Breaking Down the My Nintendo Loyalty Economy
Some the things that earns you points in there makes me think of online pyramidal schemes xD....
Re: Devil's Third Developer Valhalla Game Studios Goes International and Launches Vancouver HQ
Does anyone here got Devils Third? How is the online doing...? Is there like, 30 persons on the busiest day or...?
I was honestly interested in those multiplayer modes.
Re: Devil's Third Developer Valhalla Game Studios Goes International and Launches Vancouver HQ
@Dezzy Errr, Canada has several of the biggest video game studios. Montreal is one of the center city for that (somehow).
Re: Oddworld: Soulstorm Announced for a 2017 Release, Promising a "Dark, Twisted Trip Into Abe's Heart and Soul"

I'm excited! But also annoyed.. I get tired of OoT being the base gameplay reference.
Re: Takashi Tezuka Began Development On Zelda: Link's Awakening Without Nintendo's Permission
Ever since I read about Takashi Tezuka, I've felt that he was overshadowed by Miyamoto.
A bit like Stan Lee overshadowing Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby.

@Radbot42 Oooooh, oh no... I'm one of the wii ones who wants to play the gc version also! xD

@majinx07 If you can read japanese, it says something here: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/afxj/machines/index.html
I wish I knew lol. I'm pretty sure it says that it works too, in a quirky way.
Re: Star Fox Zero Launching April 22nd on Wii U
@Frank90 Wow... I'm guessing it's a varying tax on various products and services, but still!

Re: Talking Point: It's Catch-Up Time for Nintendo Direct, With North America and Europe Having Different Priorities
Devil's Third 2.
(lol. But it's a shame that this game didn't have enough of a player base, because that online aspect seemed really fun.)
Re: Review: Front Mission (SNES)

I'm a big nerd for Yoshitaka Amano, I'd probably buy anything with his art involved.
Re: Rumour Buster: Let's Clarify Some Issues With Those Recent Nintendo NX Predictions

Re: Video: Eiji Aonuma and Colleagues Reflect on Development of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Will we hear again music from Conan in the eventual new footages? lol... Always thought that was bizarre.
Also, I can't believe they're not saying anything about the zelda anniversary... Was that dull TP:HD, it?
