@Jacob1092 It's actually a Winnebago inspired from the real kitsch thing, perhaps an X-Files episode too It a video game project I'm working for as well.
Art Academy on WiiU! You can't post anything on miiverse that isn't a software on eshop lol.
Although I use A.A. Sketchpad, which was a version beta of it. The full, pricier, version is the only available version on eshop now. It's a formidable drawing software really. Although, it lacks layers and undo/redo-history that is a basic feature nowadays. Which means I basically did those drawing as if it were real paint lol.. kinda.
The red alien is a Vorlon from a sci fi tv show of the 90s called Babylon 5. It's a fantastic show that inspired Mass Effect a lot, among other things.
Why the hate. Miiverse was a great place for artists.. well, minus the zealous administration.
I did my best drawings on there.
I met great people on there and it was a neat compliment to games. It was just badly promoted and used by Nin. It mostly needed an adult section and child one, to minimize alienation and derp.
Seriously? It was horribly bad, and I have low standards in show and movies.
The writing was alright, the animation low budget but ok. But the direction and screenplay are so bad. I wanted to like it but it was painful to watch. What was up with the useless profanity.. it's not even a vocabulary of that era.
The music was incredibly dull and uninspired. Castlevania has always been dynamic with awesome musics...
And the voice acting was.. meh. I tried several languages, english had the best. Alucard's voice though, it's nowhere as powerful as the voice actor who voiced him in sotn.
Although I can't whine that botw was too easy (on normal mode), I see a lot of person rushing with the game. So I guess it's fine as it is. I just worry that Hard Mode won't be very hard.. not after getting some equipments anyway.
And yes, guardians are a tiny little disappointing. I thought they would actually stalk you as they're named Stalker. Since the first trailer at e3, I thought those things would actively search for you! Imagine how neat that'd be on hard mode. A good reason to sneak.
Some guy in hyrule will tell you about lynel's weakness, it's the only reason I knew about it. They're still quite the beast if you don't have good gears though!
@ShadJV There are many ways they could've fix it. But they're a bit lazy, if I can dare say on a nintendo fan site.
Better a.i. for monsters would be great too.. Bokoblins can't climb their own ladders or you can just stand still under a Moblin and it won't be able to do anything, for example. Golden lynels better not have that weakness anymore, once you discover it, they're not very intimidating.
I'll be honest, I found the game so easy (toward the end) that I never expanded my hearts. I played the whole game on 3 hearts. And I deactivated all magics, the wind aside since it's mostly just mobility.
@roadrunner343 Fingers crossed! I also hope monsters with elemental weakness won't be so easy to defeat. Because I love wizrobe in that LoZ, I just wish it was a more intense battle.
@Lone_Beagle Overpowered, yes. It's because in this game there is no hearts anymore, just food, and it's so abundant! Not only that, but you can eat at any time to restore anything. You can eat during a battle, a boss, in midflight, while climbing. Having a grocery size food inventory doesn't help that!
Also, clothes can be changed at any time, which is a bit annoying as you can make yourself impervious to anything, anytime. Making the elements not very challenging, just bothersome (changing cloths every moments).
@ricklongo Yeah, they were. Especially one of them with the water. But they were VERY short-lived and easy.
I don't have much negative things to say about the main dungeons. Except, maybe, that they only have 2 type of enemies, all of them the same 2. But they were very cleverly designed anyway.
@countzero Oh it's still an excellent Zelda, but it's just weird how almost everyone is dismissing the flaws.
I won't spoil anything. Although, all I'll say is, yes, severe lack of real dungeons. The shrines are interesting, but they really are a single puzzle (of a type. Mostly physic related).
I hoped the whole game for deep creepy caverns to explore with a torch, but there were none... There's that one place you can use a torch, but that's it.
A lack of enemies. There's about 18 enemy types, all with color variations for their level of difficulty (Sadly I find the hardest ones dumb and easy).
And some designs in that game are just way lower in LoZ quality standards. Bland, tbh.
@jimi Yep, it's always about money ...
Also, don't try to make sense of the internet; it's mostly vocal 13yo gamers. I don't know how many times I've read '' I want f-zero'', when it's obvious that most of them won't buy it. It's like a trend.
To be fair, M:OM was really good, I loved it still. It was hugely underappreciated. Yes, it had cheese, pretty bad cheese.. but it was common japanese cheese that we've seen million of times before in pretty much all their medium. The localization didn't help too.
Honestly, it's mostly a cheap advertisement campaign on their part. I'm a huge metroid fan and I never knew about mzm or fusion before seeing in store. I heard about Prime 3 just a couple of days before the release. Same with M:OM.
And finally, I'm not very confident, sadly, in the upcoming metroids as pretty much all the creative minds behind the ones we loved are not involved. Although, I'm very interested in FForce, but I do not own a 3ds.
I hope it goes well.. so that Nin wants to finance more metroid games once again.
Because frankly, it's insulting when they give as a reason that there's nothing new and fun to do with those franchise, hense no new games, when it's really just about $$$.
I doubt we'll see anything big about Star Fox in a loooong while.
Yoshio doesn't know how to play with toys hahah...
I'm looking forward to this... but I'm not confident in that other company. I wish it were on wiiu also, I mean.. it's not ugly, but I wish I could see something more polished and pretty. In a tiny 3ds screen with 3D on, It'll surely look much better!
I'm not confident in that company... I hope they don't mess up.
"Oh, people didn't buy it? I guess it means people don't like metroid anymore."
Letting die a console... It really takes rich kids to desire something like this. And companies sure are happy with that minority throwing money like it was nothing. :/
Hurray... Does that mean we'll never spelunk a real cavern again, or still standing temples and dungeons to enter, or have a pretty and classic main menu with the fairy theme? Not being able to input our name because... there's very forgettable and dull voice-acting?
Those shrines weren't very dungeonesque to be blunt. They had just one type of enemy to make it more dull.. And the major bosses in that game, were they not incredibly unimaginative?!
There should've been half the number of shrines in that game if they were to be so overwhelmingly short and simple-- Just concentrating them together instead...
I still loved Botw, don't get me wrong, but was that game NOT perfect as critics make it out to be. I can only hope for dlc goodness.. Eventide Island was among the best thing in the game.
Samus, obviously, why not a metroid while a it! The modding community have the potential to make mk8 wiiu the best mk ever, actually.. With tons of maps and just add anything from the other mks.

This is wonderful, there's so many awesome artist on mv.

Anyone whinning otherwise is a clueless kid.
Re: Video: Here's What Star Fox 2 Looks Like On The SNES Classic Edition
They HAD to remove the lock on, that thing was broken and made the game wayyy too easy.
Looking forward to play that.. without the snes mini because it's unobtainable lol
Re: Series Producer Yoshio Sakamoto Is Interested In Making Another 2D Metroid
@Giygas_95 I'd love to play Federation Force with people, but.. it seems barely anyone got it.
A risky name choice that backfired. It's like they had named Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario's Mansion.. kinda.
Re: Series Producer Yoshio Sakamoto Is Interested In Making Another 2D Metroid
@Giygas_95 It could be an interesting way to finally see what Earth looks like, but... perhaps.
Or they could just do parallels with the Alien franchise once again and just elaborate on how Chozo created the metroids, just like Prometheus.
Although, I'll be honest, my impossible geek dream would be a Metroid mmo haha.. There's potential for it anyway.
Re: Series Producer Yoshio Sakamoto Is Interested In Making Another 2D Metroid
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Do it Mr Sakamoto!
It has to be set after Fusion!
Fans need to know what happens next in the story!
The gameplay of M:OM was so fine, people were unfair with it. It needed just some adjustments.
Re: Here's What Those Lovely New amiibo Do In Metroid: Samus Returns
So they unlock cheats.. pretty much. Remember when you just had to input buttons to activate a cheat? Not pay for them? lol...
Are the amiibo out yet, or the scalpers got them all already? People should seriously stop supporting scalpers.

Wiiu is a nice console. The web browser on it's own is worth half it's price imo.

Re: Netflix Renews Castlevania Series For A Second, Longer Season
@fortius54 I have to hope it was somehow a pilot... I thought the general story was fine, but it's the direction and screenplay that was bad.
Re: Netflix Renews Castlevania Series For A Second, Longer Season
@MattFox I can agree on most, but some cartoons have good english voices. Samurai Jack, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, they all have great voice acting.
But, as for dubbing foreign stuff, english studios are seemingly bad at it.. They sound all alike lol
Re: Netflix Renews Castlevania Series For A Second, Longer Season
@MattFox This is however an american cartoon.

Re: Majora's Mask DLC Will Definitely be Useful in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Bokoblins, Moblins, and Stal enemies... so, about 75% of every enemies in this game :U
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th June (North America)
@ShadJV Maybe this time things will be different and there won't excess! Tomorrow we'll all know about it.
Funny thing, the excess was real, I started collecting rare and unique weapons instead of just picking up the better stuff.

I could make it hard on myself, but It's something else when it's out of your control. But I do try to make it harder myself.

Eating during a battle is just silly, both in gameplay and rhythm...

Cancelled? It's out there, complete, and it's a great labor of love. It's very fun.

Ugh.. Not another prime... I can't say it enough. Not having Retro is even more worrisome.
I'm a huge metroid fan, but fps, bulky and slow samus was never fun to me. Only the impossible amount of details Retro had in it kept me going.
Re: Remake of Metroid II, Metroid: Samus Returns, Announced for 3DS at E3
@Utena-mobile I loved M:Om, Fusion comes after M:Om though.
But I guess you always add more in between
Re: Remake of Metroid II, Metroid: Samus Returns, Announced for 3DS at E3
Why another Prime though, Blegh... Could've been something fresh... Like, the continuation of what happen after Metroid Fusion.
Re: Remake of Metroid II, Metroid: Samus Returns, Announced for 3DS at E3
So that's why Amr2 got them angry... But those amiibos!!! I know it's just the prettier prototypes, but daiyum!
I wish it wasn't Prime though... I don't like much that spinoff. Metroid 2 3d heck yeah!
Re: Video: There Are Actually More Games Called Star Fox Than You Might Imagine
It's true though, Zero was kind of bad. A big let down for this fan. Miyamoto should be ashame of that now, not Zelda II.
Also, most people don't seem to know that Star Fox is HUGELY inspired from STAR BLADE . Even SFZero took cues from it again!

The hard mode better be harder just monster with farther sight..... That game was so easy after getting used to it. All of these needs to be ajusted.

Not just that but you can hoard sooo many meals, it's pretty much impossible to run out of hearts.
