I usually don’t mind the $60 price tag, after all video games are luxury products which no one really needs to buy unless they want to, but in this case I agree that it’s a bit much. It’s a single Wii game with only the graphics being slightly upgraded. We’ve had both the Mario and Pikmin collections that had more old games for the same price.

That’s not Dark Samus standing back to back with Samus, it’s just a reflection of Samus (they look exactly alike, which Samus/Dark Samus does not). Which makes the box art weird, in my opinion, it doesn’t really make sense.

I’m in the middle of replaying Xenoblade 1 and 2 with dlc, and now playing through 3 for the first time. Getting tired of long games for now, but I want to see the rest of the story, so I’m pushing on.

Remember, this fiscal year lasts until March 2025. So they might ANNOUNCE it in 10 months time, and then wait until fall/winter 2025 to release it.
Of course, they might reveal it earlier. But just enjoy the hundreds of good games already available while waiting. Remember to stay happy even before the announcement.

There should be two days left, and I tried logging in to Mario maker to download some stages, but it wouldn’t connect to the internet. It worked fine when I tested a few days ago, but now the console won’t connect at all. Anyone else have this problem?

@Faucet Nintendo didn’t “sell” Rare, they didn’t own them in the first place. But yes, they definitely should have bought them when they still had the chance.

@BigBluePanda Indeed, you could use a cable but there is also a password system. You have to connect them if you want to 100% The lost age.

Without spoiling the story, could someone who played the full game tell me if the boy is a real ghost, or will it be revealed to have another type of more sciency explanation?
That’s an important part of the decision for me to get this game or not.

For those struggling with Zelda 2: you are not meant to beat it without seeing the Game Over screen. You make a bit of progress, die, and come back stronger with all your health and life’s back, to make some more progress this time, with levels, skills and items intact. Does that remind you of something? Rogue likes, which are so popular in other forms now a days. Push through to get just one more level or item before you die in the dungeon, and it will be easier next time.

The only totally brutal and unfair part is the final temple. I don’t think I’ve ever beaten it without save states myself.

Mackenyu as Link. Check him out in One Piece live action on Netflix (which you should watch anyway). He’s got the right build, can play the silent, stoic type and is already a master swordsman.

@Wyatt006 Since the new Kirby releases in March, my guess is they’ve picked Kirby 64 to go along with it.

One great thing about Nintendo’s offering is this: they haven’t removed anything on offer on NSO so far (expect Mario 35, which they said from the start was a limited time thing).

I would hate this service if things got replaced and you didn’t know how long things were going to stay, but everything’s still there.
I don’t know how Sony and Microsoft are doing on that front, but to me that’s a huge thing no one’s talking about.

If they think some of the content wouldn’t go over well today, make a remake and change those things specifically. I would be ok with that if the alternative is not getting it at all.

@Savino They’ve said there’ll be more NES and SNES games, but they’ve also not released any new ones since summer.

I think people are confusing “worst” with “most disappointing”.
There are so many really crappy games released on the eshop every week, no way is it worse than all those.
Balan had a big budget and a big studio backing it, so people expected something good, like a contender for Mario, but where disappointed by the result.

One or two games would be fine… if it was for all consoles each. One new games throughout all 4 NSO consoles every 3 months is just ridiculous.

If it was say 1 N64, 2 mega drive, 2 NES and 1 SNES per release or something like that it still wouldn’t be great, but at least ok.

@The-Chosen-one some of the developers who were only on the project for a limited time wasn’t in the end credits, and they complained about it online. The terms was in the policy from the start though, but entitled young gamerz on the internet who don’t know how contracts and policy’s work thought it was the worst thing since the Holocaust.

@BlueMonk If I understand correctly, you won’t have anything you gained on your island “taken back”. You will lose access to the design islands, but you will keep everything you already have.

Might buy it if it’s not too high priced, and on at least 75% sale. Just because it’s the only option for a Nintendo-only gamer.
Would gladly play full price if it wasn’t a cloud version.

As someone already stated, it’s not a tiny ball. It’s almost as tall as Samus is in kneeling position. It’s not that hard to fit.
Regarding the rolling, maybe Samus is upright in there, while only the outside of the ball is rolling.

@blockfight They didn’t say 2021, they said winter. Winter is December, January and February, so 2/3 of it is in 2022.

It used to be, not too many years ago, that they were always called home consoles or handheld consoles. Then at some point the gaming community shortened those terms to consoles and handhelds. That has made the younger generation, and forgetful people I guess, think that handhelds aren’t consoles.

But they are. They’re all consoles. Home, handheld or hybrid, it’s a console used to play games.

@czdjax Most previous Warioware titles have mostly been singleplayer, and they’ve been very enjoyable in story mode. I’m sure this one is too, I think the 2+ player modes are mostly party game stuff.

“Win 1 of 750” does not mean you have a 1 in 750 chance of winning. It means there is 750 prices and you can win one of them, but there might be tens or hundreds of thousands of boxes with this promotion. So there’s a way smaller chance of winning than 1 in 750.

Japan has an even better commercial for it. Kind of spoilery though, lol.

I haven’t played the game in years so don’t remember exactly, but if you don’t do the side quests, don’t you only go back and forth between the ground and sky like 6 or 7 times? It’s not such a big deal...

You keep writing “Link to the Past”, but you still write “A Link Between Worlds”. It’s “A Link to the Past”. Sorry, but it bugged me. Please be consistent and used the Forrest “A” in either both or neither.

@Marios-love-child ”managed”. Congratulations, their still readily available for anyone to buy. It’s a limited time release, not limited amount. Whoever wants to can just buy this, physically or digitally, for months to come. No need for anyone to pay any scalpers.

They literally showed four people playing with two Marios and two Luigis in the trailer, so yes, I knew it...

Another theory: It’s on there as an unlockable secret after you beat Galaxy 1. Everyone’s mad for nothing.

@Kalmaro It is true. Maybe not the whole campaign, but you can play 13 dungeons with just one copy of the game, which is a huge chunk of the game. 3 dungeons if no one owns the game, so everyone can try it out.

Olimar keeps crashing, I wouldn’t exactly call him a “top pilot”.
