As you might have seen in our Switch round-up for the month of July, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is due out in just a few weeks.
Ahead of the Wii game's return, Nintendo has released yet another commercial for the game, this time encouraging players to fulfill their destiny as a master of the sword. In addition to this, it's revealed a custom Twitter emoji for the game.
The Nintendo of America YouTube channel has also shared a few other trailers showcasing Skyward Sword HD in portable mode and what it might look like when using the Joy-Con motion controls in the game:

Will you be returning to Skyward Sword when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch later this month? Leave a comment down below.

Still working on Link’s Awakening so I won’t get this at launch but I am looking forward to seeing how the motion controls work with the switch. I do have the joycons and amiibo on preorder however.
Really fun commercials though.
Link's lips always looked like they were botoxed in this game
Man, the commercials seem to have more of a budget than the remaster does.
Cancelled my pre order as I have enough to play atm so will grab this when I see it pre owned or on sale.
I've kept the pre order of the joycons and Amiibo, my joycon has started to drift again and the Amiibos always sell for more so would be daft cancelling when I've already secured one.
Japan has an even better commercial for it. Kind of spoilery though, lol.
@Ryu_Niiyama Still working on BOTW and Link's Awakening, but still getting Skyward on day 1.
Even so i will wait the reviews to see what exactly has changed , and then buy it if i see it worthy enough . They would had my attention if they acompany the game with a preorder in-game gift tho...
SS HD runs with 60 fps, my favourite feature of this game, and the ads are in 30 fps. Boo!
Pretty cool!
Although, knowing how great my dislike for the game ended up being, I can't get to a place of feeling as excited as when I watched the trailers ten years ago. ^^
Oh no! I feel so bad for this game given how many people hate its guts. Poor game.
@YoungLink64 I reckon there's a fair chance it ties in. I've just got a feeling about it although I could easily be wrong.
I haven’t played it before but at this price tag I’d rather opt for any number of other games that don’t have mechanics and graphics that are 15 years old. They should’ve either made a $20-25 port or done a full graphical overhaul.
Is the first trailer a low key ad for the Switch's battery life? They should market a solar charging accessory for folks who inexplicably take their Switches on camping trips to Eventide.
I like to think they actually hired a professional stunt diver to dive off a extremely expensive floating island prop for real to be more authentic to the trailer director's vision ❤️
The jury is still out for me on this one. I think the could have cleaned up the visuals. for $60, I think this should be a complete remaster.
I’m conflicted. It’s a good game, but by the standard set by the series, this ones a bit more of a slog with the game having you return to previously cleared areas a few times. Not sure I want to spend big $$$ to do it again
@Brummieendo90 you make a good point, there’s a very strong chance BOTW2 will link to the lore of this game
That face Link has in the thumbnail. 🤣
I prefer commercials to just trailers except at e3. I like the interactivity of family's and friends hanging out and playing together. Robin and Zelda Williams were on my criteria.
@FaroreAbhorsen We did actually! She was on wires and jumped from a platform that was about 25ft tall.
