So, we can buy Has-Been Heroes today but can't play till Tuesday? I hope this doesn't become a trend. I hate waiting to play a game after I've bought and downloaded it!

@Andrzej777 Well, like I said, I've got all the lesbian loving I could ever need in Stardew Valley. And because of that I don't need Story of Seasons or Harvest Moon. We can just agree to disagree on this topic

Actually the conservative nature of most games on Nintendo platforms lately have made me steer further away from the Wii U and 3DS and more towards the PC and it seems like I'm not the only one. Most of the hate I see on other sites for Nintendo stems from the opinion that they play it too safe in their games.

@Andrzej777 I really don't want to get into a debate about lesbian/gay lifestyles here, but I don't agree at all with what you're saying.
So gays don't belong in the country...? That doesn't make any sense. There's a town 45 minutes from me that only has about 4k people living there and it's known as a lesbian breeding ground. Should they stay in the closet because they live in a small town? I certainly don't think so.

You might not know this, but gays and lesbians are EVERYWHERE. Not just in big cities.

Honestly, after playing Stardew Valley I just don't know if I can go back to this series. SV has everything I've ever wanted in a Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons game and more.

Maybe if they ad same-sex marriage and put mining back into HM/SS I'll come back but for now I'm perfectly happy with SV!

I'm very interested in the scroller wheels on that thing. I think it could make for some pretty cool control schemes.

I would be 100% okay with this if there are buttons on the back, kinda like the paddles on the back of the xbox elite controller. I couldn't handle virtual buttons!

I love the design of the GBA. If Ninty went with something similar but updated for their next handheld console I'd be super happy!

This plus an open world roaming system would be all I've ever dreamed of in a Pokemon game.

Starting with Birthright, then moving on to Nohr and the 3rd storyline after that. considering the fact that I haven't stopped playing Awakening since it was released in the US, this new one will be played for years!

I'm currently playing through FEA for the 6th time in preparation for FEF. I plan on buying every version and map pack available!

I think I'll skip this and pick up Paper Jam instead. That'll hold me over until Fates comes out!

I would love a more "mature" Pokemon game that was set in a more realistic world (except for the Pokemon, of course). This commercial makes me think they could pull it off! Maybe on the NX?

I would really love a DLC pack that makes all of the characters bi... Or an emulator mod...

I tried getting into this game but at the time is was so buggy that I couldn't get passed the beginning. Maybe I should go back and see if anything has been fixed.

@sWiTcHeRoO I'm actually okay with the lesbian option being like Tharja... I always paired her with the male healer with long hair so I could pretend they were lesbians.

Although the original scene is particularly disturbing in it's implication that same-sex infatuation can be "cured" with drugs, I honestly would have still bought and played the game regardless if the Treehouse wasn't censoring it. I just would have avoided talking to that particular character completely. Though, depending on how they change the scene, I may still avoid it.

As a lesbian I'm happy they're "censoring" this part of the game. Though I believe censoring art is wrong, this particular scene is in no way, shape or form artistic. There's nothing artistic about drugging a woman without her consent.
And the implication that a drug could "cure" a woman of her infatuation with other women is disgusting and hurtful.
In my teenage years I tried a lot of things to "cure" myself of homosexuality (at the request and aid of my local church) which ended up being incredibly harmful to myself both physically and mentally. So don't try to defend this trash scene, please.

Leave it to a bunch of (most likely) white internet dudes to tell a race of people who are regularly marginalized and discriminated against what they should and shouldn't be offended of.
I, like many others, don't necessarily agree with censorship as long as there is a point to the work being censored. In this case it's just a video game class with zero relevance to natives or their culture. So I really don't see what the deal is. It seems like people are more upset because they think the Native class is "prettier" than the cowboy one and are screaming about censorship as a response.
As for replacing the Native class with a cowboy? I can't believe no one saw the irony in that before they "pushed go" on this idea. Literally shaking my head right now.

I'm a woman. My wife and I own 4 consoles and 2 handhelds. So maybe this thing isn't so far off

The outfits don't bother me on adults but the tendency to put really young girls in skimpy sexualized outfits does.

@khaosklub I haven't heard that (been kinda disappointed with Ninty lately and have been staying away from Nintendo news because of it) but if it's true then that's pretty exciting!

If this could be integrated with Facebook somehow I could see a ton of people using it. But by itself I'm afraid it would just be another weird thing that no one really uses. Especially if you can only interact with people on your current Nintendo ID friend's list. Maybe if there was a way to "discover" more friends...? I dunno. Until I hear more I'm not interested at all.

I'm starting to wonder if the NX is just a portable Game Boyish controller for the Wii U that you can take anywhere and play downloaded games on.

This makes me wish that they had been working on localization while they were making the Japanese version of the game so we could have it sooner! Though that's not really fair since it could have delayed the initial release. I'm just so excited that I'm feeling a little selfish

If this has the great gameplay and story that Ninty says it does, then why didn't they show that instead of the tutorial in the trailer? I feel like all of the hate would have been avoided if they had been able to convince fans that it really was a Metroid game from the get-go instead of this weird ball shooting thing.

Also, I really dislike the character design.

Maybe they were planning on using the "skittles" buttons for NA instead of the Famicom ones so they have delayed the release because they needed to make enough buttons for their NA consoles....? Just wishful thinking

Besides, Link is a very androgynous character anyway and is hardly ever referred to with any kind of pronoun. It's super easy to just flop his gender in your mind and create a lesbian love story between him/her and Zelda... Not that I did that every time I played OOT...

They didn't want to create a worldwide shortage of the N3DS and yet you can hardly find the N3DSXLs anywhere in the US. Seems like that plan backfired over here.

I agree with @Funbunz. It's also annoying that every one assumes it's only men who can't fit the XL in their pockets. "Don't wear skinny jeans" you say? Try finding a pair of women's pants that aren't tight or have stupidly small pockets. "Wear a purse" you say? How about stop telling other people what to wear and how to carry their st!ff.

Honestly considering buying a PAL standard new 3ds and just jailbreaking it. This whole "there's no market for it in America" is BS. Much like ALL of Ninty's decisions lately.

I downloaded the demo last night and only fought one monster but I can already tell there is a big difference between 4U and 3U! I'm super excited to get a NN3DSXL and start hunting some monsters!

Honestly, the only reason I wanted the regular size is because there was an option in white. I think the XL colors and variants are just plain ugly right now so I'll wait till a variant with brighter colors is released till I get one. Hopefully I won't have too long to wait! Maybe they'll come out with a Xenoblade NN3DSXL in blue and white....

I'll absolutely pick one of these up as soon as more colors come out. I just really find the magenta, black and limited edition variants to be ugly. Now, if the MM variant was gold and white, instead of gold and black, I'd have left work early yesterday to rush to GameStop for a pre-order!

I've been hoping for Puzzle and Dragons Z to come to the west since it was first announced in Japan. And to see that it comes with the Mario edition?! This is super exciting

I'm not upset about the fact that NA doesn't get the regular size except that all of the XL options are so... Masculine. If we got a white one or even a brighter, more vibrant red I'd be all over it. But I just really don't like how dark and masculine they all look :/
