Atlus is really keeping the ball rolling regarding its localised releases. With the impending releases of Etrian Mystery Dungeon and Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Fafnir Knight already confirmed, there’s now an additional title - a new IP - to join them.
Atlus announced today that it will be bringing Imageepoch's Stella Glow to North American shores. There’s no solid release date or window yet, just a promise of a 2015 release, but we’ll keep you updated when this information becomes available. Stella Glow is a strategic RPG that focuses on the story of Alto, a young knight who travels through the Regnant Kingdom to convince witches to fight against The Witch of Destruction, Hilda. The game is strongly centered around the theme of music, such as how the witches that have allied with the player can be “tuned” to use their special song magic to its fullest extent.
There’s no English translated trailer yet, which gives us an idea of how far along the localisation process is, so here’s the original Japanese reveal trailer:

I'm always up for a new Atlus game whether they make it or not. They usually do a good job off choosing what to localize.
I really don't know what to say about this trailer and game,so i'll say alrighty then.
Looks like it could be a tactical game like Fire Emblem... I'M IN!
This could be a nice filler while we wait on Fire Emblem.
@Shiek Looks more like Final Fantasy Tactics. Or even more so like The Advanced version.
Seems promising! c:
Not my cup of tea. Though the more games the better it is for the system.
Will buy
@Spoony_Tech You're right! Fire Emblem was just the first tactics game that came to mind
What can I say, I'm always in for a good JRPG.
But no map-drawing, please.
Looks interesting. I'll wait and see
The more RPG's there are the happier life is.
Looks nice! I'll snag it when it comes out.
I was really hoping this would be localized. I'd buy the Japanese version when it comes out, but my language skills aren't there for an RPG yet.
@Vineleaf Cool, how does it play?
@Spoony_Tech Alas, it's not out in Japan yet. I think 4.June is the release date there.
@Vineleaf I miss read that as saying I bought lol and totally forgot it wasn't out over there yet. Forgive me, I'm tired.
I'll probably pick this up for $15 sometime down the road, like I did with Luminous Arc. And I'll probably regret it like I did with Luminous Arc...
Might be nice game to play while waiting for Luminous Arc Infinity to come out over here (if it ever arrives...).
Funny how both games use a chibi art style. Considering gameplay looks similar (SRPG), I might finally be able to directly compare a chibi 3DS game to a chibi Vita game.
My money! Take it! Take all!!!
Not sold yet, but they've got my attention.
Looks cute. I'll wait for reviews.
Will it come to PAL regions? Will it have a retail box?
@crazycrazydave Hopefully SEGA Europe gets onto that.
When I heard it was from the Luminous Arc/Arc Rise team...I was hoping they'd be less super-deformed in game.
I love the art style of Luminous Arc, and I wish more games would use that.
I'd like to see more gameplay before any commitment but it has my interest.
I'll give it a shot
Nice! I was hoping for this to get localized, but didn't have too much hope, seeing how the Luminious Arc series never really made it far in the west. Now, to hope for a PAL release...
@SamirMalik If it depends on SEGA, there isn't much to hope for...
@Kaze_Memaryu There is hope. this is Sega's IP. this wouldn't be the first time does he have localized something for Atlus, a company they own btw. persona arena has been localized for us by Sega. we are also getting a manga crossover fighting game call the fighting climax which is also from Sega.
JRPGs are still alive, and at least Sega and Atlus realize there's a sizable market of North American otaku who desperately want more of them. Thank God.
Still miss Luminous Arc 3. ;_;
"From the makers of the Luminous Arc series"
I knew it! I said I thought they were related when you mentioned it in that Japanese Games Mag weekly article thing!
This looks good. I'm interested.
I was quite a fan of the Luminous Arc series, and this looks like a spiritual successor of sorts (but kind of odd, considering they've already confirmed a fourth Luminous Arc for the Vita).
Europe says YES.
Atlus may be on the ball when it comes to localising games like this...BUT NOT FOR EUROPE!! theres a massive backlog of titles that have been confirmed form the U.S. but then the trail goes dead! Digital distribution of these titles is all very well but europe/Australia and that territory is just an afterthought and it's not fair!
Will be buying.
Dorothy's costume looks very similar to Ravio's from ALBW
YESSS!!! Now that's the game I want. Thanks Atlus!
@SamirMalik Persona 4 Arena is handled by Arc System Works, not SEGA, and is localized by pQube in PAL territories. With The Fighting Climax, you probably mean Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, which is easily one of the worst fighters in recent history and survives on nothing but bland fanservice characters, so it's bound to sell for fans of badly written sterotypes (of which we have way too many).
Stella Glow, however is a small thing, the Luminious Arc series never had success in the west (and also never reached PAL territories to begin with), and SEGA doesn't even bother with Phantasy Star anymore (despite incredible demand for a F2P MMO) - there's barely anything to give much hope in this case.
@Searanae
It's not a JRPG, and the people you should thank are Atlus and Sega.
But that was certainly an energetic trailer for what appears to be a tactical game. I roll my eyes at all the anime-ish games these days, but I'll keep an open mind for it.
im getting
waaaaaant
Liked Luminous Arc.
Muh strategy RPGs, muh localizations, muh SEGA, thank you based Atlus USA.
@Kaze_Memaryu >that far in the west.
Arent there only 3 games?
IIRC, the third one wasnt the one who made it here.
Or are there more LA games aside from the 3 on the DS? O.o
@Gridatttack Technically, there are a number of games that are also counted to the "Arc" series, Arc Rise Fantasia and Shining Arc (I think there were multiple Shining Arc games, but I'm not sure) among them. However, Arc Rise Fantasia wasn't under surveillance from ATLUS - ImageEpoch brought it out together with Marvelous, so fans debate whether it should be counted (I do, others don't).
@Kaze_Memaryu Interesting, never knew they were connected.
I'll give them a try.
