If this was the case, why wouldn't the Switch version be announced the same time as the others. Aside from all the weird theories, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.
I would have been more surprised if there wasn't going to be a Smash Bros. Cant remember a Nintendo console since the 64 that didn't have this game. I enjoy it for what it is - more of a casual party game. Would appreciate a real fighter.
Not sure which makes me feel more queasy; people sticking up for a mega corporation charging full Triple A new game prices for a four year old WiiU port or the concept of double/triple dipping still being trendy. For that one special game, I get it. Seriously, widen your gaming experiences people.
I find collecting a full set of games for a console is more enticing when it is for a retro console. That way, the list is complete, most games are lower in price than at release and the resale value as a set would be higher. I can only see modern collections selling for less than they were bought for at full price.
Physical is losing prominence now that many games need additional downloads to function as intended. If the servers/store goes down, many of these games would make great place mats, but not much else.
@Anti-Matter I think you're missing the point. Your collection has all the greats in there, missing out a lot of the tat. To collect everything the games quality is insignificant. Hence, the guy in the post has had to purchase a lot of lower quality games.
At UK prices that's got to be around £3000 minimum! I guess if your salary is high enough, anything can be considered chump change. I feel you have to set a goal with this sort of thing, everything or just what you want to play.
Looks like an interesting concept, but see this working better on an actual phone to further the immersion. Also, not keen on people pushing their agendas in entertainment.
Does this include Street Fighter II which many bought for £30-40 already last year? Jk, I already know it does. Capcom has done so much right recently. About time Switch owners felt the benefit of that for once. This package seems decent. It's just how it makes the last one look that is difficult to swallow.
@ekwcll I think RadioShadow was just stating that more people would have bought it if the game was multiplatform. As it stands, people who want that game specifically may not go as far as to buy a new console to play it on. No bias, just maths. Unless, I misunderstood (perfectly possible).
@gortsi Both being in our 30's, I guarantee the first thing you said to me IRL wouldn't be insulting my reading comprehension. Thank you for directing me to the list.
Really cant take an awards ceremony seriously when it's winners so happen to be corporate members. I get that Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are all corporate members, but when Rabbids and Injustice 2 get shout outs it kind of soured it a little for me. Don't get me wrong, Rabbids is great; just not strategy GOTY great.
The vanilla masking tape will do me fine. Appreciate the graphics, but its stickiness per metre that really matters. If Nintendo can hit that SPM sweetspot, then I'm all in. Will wait for the stationary foundary video before biting.
@Equinox Ahh, can't tell if you're trolling me or not haha. 70 million worldwide sales with about 9% coming from one country (Japan). I'd say that's fine. We all know Japan loves handhelds. I really hope Switch continues to do well there, otherwise mobile will be the only other option. Does that satisfy you?
@Malcrash Well PS4 just got RIME on PSN. That by itself nearly justifies the price. Last month was Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Sounds like decent value to me. Don't get me wrong, though. Free is always best right?!
Show what's coming in 2018. I dislike the continual wait for direct/mini direct/conference/somethingelse pattern we get into when these conversations arise. We should know already. Its worrying that we haven't.

Re: Tennis World Tour Is Swinging For Match Point On Nintendo Switch
@Spoony_Tech Different market surely with some overlap.

Re: Looks Like 3DS Title Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido Is Getting A Switch Upgrade
@RupeeClock I agree. Not sure why it made the direct really.

Re: Random: Kamiya Threatens To "Lose Motivation" For Bayonetta 3 Unless Nintendo Grants His Switch Wishes
Do you guys have a running joke with putting the word "titular" into every Bayonetta article? It's like the new "This scribe".
Re: Surprise! There's A New Nintendo Direct Coming, And It's Due Tomorrow
1-2-3 Switch. What's with the GTV predictions. That game is positively geriatric now. Let's get optimistic..Red Dead 2!
Re: Surprise! There's A New Nintendo Direct Coming, And It's Due Tomorrow At 10pm
Super Mario All Stars Remix £50. It's fine as many didn't play it on the SNES and it's portable ; )
Re: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Will Get A Retail Release (But It'll Cost You $60)
@YummyHappyPills More fool them. Whilst people buy this tripe, there is less impetus to make new experiences.

Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@Grawlog I'd imagine similar but three deep (triple dipping)
Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@Biff_ARMStrong Voez can be bought through Amazon on import.
Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@Anti-Matter If it is worth that much to you, then you shouldn't feel bad. As long as you can keep financially secure, I don't see the problem : )

Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@Anti-Matter You have it good it seems. My disposable income probably allows for 1-2 games per month. I normally buy one every two months.
Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@MrGamerClock64 Not really. He was speaking an obvious truth maybe. This would be the same collecting for any platform.

Re: Random: Nintendo Labo Isn't The Only Way To Combine Cardboard With Your Switch
Switch Split confirmed. Looks like a regular Switch, but can be split into two down the centre of the screen into an inverted V shape to free stand.
Re: Time To Celebrate As Happy Birthdays Brings The Party To Switch This June
@Anti-Matter Yes, its portable and probably more expensive.
Re: Time To Celebrate As Happy Birthdays Brings The Party To Switch This June
Never understood the name. The new one still doesn't make sense. Gameplay looks goofy but interesting.
Re: Review: A Normal Lost Phone (Switch eShop)
@XenoShaun Yes. A clear miss there.

Great game. One for headphones!

Re: Playerunknown's Battlegrounds On Mobile Gives Hope For Switch Port, Says Digital Foundry
I don't think this would be a great idea. Need to look more into the mobile version a bit more. Didn't even know it was a thing.
Re: Zelda And Nintendo Win Big At The 2018 D.I.C.E. Awards
@Mario500 Diligent as always : )
Re: Review: PAYDAY 2 (Switch)
I can imagine this being a blast using local play with your team all in the same room! Shame it's a little ropey.

Re: Zelda And Nintendo Win Big At The 2018 D.I.C.E. Awards
@gortsi No need to be rude. There would be a list of nominees to choose from.
Re: Zelda And Nintendo Win Big At The 2018 D.I.C.E. Awards
@Bunkerneath Polyphony aren't corporate members unfortunately.

Re: Nintendo Changes Requirements For Its Controversial YouTube Creators Program
Hilarious. The Nintendo Creators Program just needs to be dropped. Pointless and self-defeating.
Re: Amazon Listing Suggests Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Is Headed To Switch
I enjoyed it, but rather shallow. A one and done game and not a Stardew replacement.

Re: Review: Bayonetta 2 (Switch)
The Switch is the go-to handheld for retro releases. Move aside Vita!
Re: Look, Capcom Knows You Really Want Monster Hunter World On Switch
Really enjoying MHW. If you are lucky enough to own a console that plays it, would certainly recommend.
Re: Rare's Local Video Game Store Is Closing Its Doors After 24 Years
Apparently, I only work nine miles away from the store so may check it out!
Re: Nintendo's Ultimate Ambition Is For Switch "To Be Owned By Every Single Person"
Wouldn't be much of an ULTIMATE ambition if it was " We want most people to own a Switch".
Re: Sounds Like We Might Be Getting A New Sonic & All-Stars Racing Game Soon
@retro_player_22 Checked this out on youtube after you mentioned it. Completely passed me by. Thank you. It's brilliant!
Re: Sounds Like We Might Be Getting A New Sonic & All-Stars Racing Game Soon
Whenever I read MK8, I read Mortal Kombat. That would make an hilarious kart racer!

@Equinox PS4 selling three times the number of Switch consoles in it's fifth year on the market is weak. Haha, go on then.

Re: Nintendo Switch Online Service Will Go Live This September
We knew all of this aside from the September release. I guess, the only thing we didn't know for sure was that it would use "that app" grrrr
Re: Atooi Is Bringing 2-On-2 Footie Action To Switch With Soccer Slammers
Lazy visual style.
Re: Soapbox: Monster Hunter World Has Claimed Its Prize, But Capcom Shouldn't Forget Nintendo
Can't wait for the Vita edition so I can double dip. Didn't own a Wii U so haven't been able to say that yet!
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Breath Of The Wild And Pokémon Crystal Ride High In The UK Charts
@Samwise7 NL aren't allowed to post the entire chart. PushSquare displays the top 10 in the article which I find to be a nice solution.
