Re: Random: Waluigi Wins Nintendo's Official Valentine's Day Poll

Samsamsam

I dont care much about Waluigi and only joked about it, same with Shaggy but hot damn. In Nintendo forums people speak negatively about Waluigi but in every irl meeting ive ran into and in every single poll that got Waluigi on it, Waluigi is by far the most liked character.
I wouldnt mind seeing him on Smash or future Mario games. Ill still pick Toad for my games but again, i wouldnt mind Waluigi. Id try him if he became playable but I would still main King Dedede. Atleast Waluigi looks more interesting than half of the Smash roster. It says something. Aslong as he got fans, Nintendo shouldnt ignore him imo. Same with Toad, some people dont like Toad but it shouldnt mean people should tell him not to be included in games. Listen to the fans id say.

Re: Random: Fans Ask Nintendo To Revive Super Mario RPG's Geno And Mallow In Online Petition

Samsamsam

I dont know much about Geno at all, but I do find his overall design very good. This is what I actually want Smash to be about, funny mascots no matter how popular they are in games to fight eachother. This is the reason I find half of the roster boring and rather have "weird" characters in the roster such as Waluigi, Geno, Dr Eggman, Crash, Shantae, Banjo and so on, just because they look like fun fighters.

Re: Future Business Shift Could See Nintendo Move Away From Home Console Development

I am sorry for my toxic masculinity but mobile gaming is disappointing. It used to be good like 8 years ago, when there was barely any microtransactions and you could buy full games at cheap prices.
I am not saying that games should be cheap, but id rather pay 39.99 for a full game on mobile that got good controls, alot of content, good multiplayer and ofcourse, a game that does not drain batteries.
I thought Mario Run would actually be good on the mobile. I bought it when it was fresh, and i got * disappointed. It cost like 3 times more than Rayman run and i completed the game in like 20 minutes, while Rayman Run lasted for much longer.
This is the problem i have with gaming on mobile. It is always bad. Either it got microtransactions, bad controls, overheating or limited control over the character.
I gave up mobile gaming entirely when they made a racing game that i paid FULL PRICE FOR into a free microtransaction app. I dont even know how the * this is allowed. I got no refund out of it.

Games could be free first in mobile store, let it be like a demo, then let people decide whether they should buy the game at full price or buy it chapter after chapter. Anything but microtransactions..

Dont get me wrong, this happens to games in Steam and so on too, but they usually give you tons of bonuses worth the price you originally paid for the game, and other bonuses like titles and unique stuffs, while mobile gaming gives you nothing at all.

Re: Pokémon: Let's Go Sells 3 Million Copies In First Week, Becomes Fastest-Selling Game On Switch

Samsamsam

Well i am not a hater for Pokemon itself tho i understand the negative reaction and i am still in facepalm mode because of Mew paywall and the Youtube videos showing Eevee facerolling through the elite 4. I dont want the game to sell bad or anything. Its good in a way, the money can be spent on improving the future games, adding free content such as new islands for this game or new pokemon and so on. Hopefully that will happen.
As for me, i wont buy a game which got less content than a GBA (so i heard, i heard theres only 153 pokemon and theres no sevii islands but i may be wrong) remake and a faceroll playstyle, but well, if others enjoy it, i cant blame them at all.
I just personally dont want to spend so much money on a weaker remake, i dont look at sales numbers as a way to say that the game is good or crap, its like saying a mainstream boring rap or pop artist who can barely sings who sells billions of albums is better than Michael Jackson.
Btw, if you want to know the reason why i do care about the "vocal minority" its because ive spent TONS and i mean TONS of money on games i regret buying, because i listened more to the "mature majority" than the "immature minority" just to end up agreeing with the immature ones. I dont trust anyone anymore.

Re: Soapbox: Don't Listen To The Pokémon: Let’s Go Haters - The Game Has Definitely Found Its Audience

Samsamsam

Its quite interesting how humans work. If you love a game, youre White-knighting it. If you critizise a game, youre a hater. If you say something the left doesnt like, youre in the far right. If you say something the right doesnt like, youre in the far left. Ive been watching Youtube videos and ive been seeing Eevee melt down elite four without making a sweat and then there is how to get Mew. I am not sold. But i am by no means a hater of pokemon itself. Okay fine, i hate some parts of pokemon games, such as the freaking dialoge that happens every 5 steps i take in ultra sun/moon which i hope wont happen in gen 8.. but there are also alot of things i love with ultra sun/moon. I even like the endless battles for shiny and finding the right nature for pokemon, while others might find this boring. I myself dont find melting down elite 4 with a pokemon who is basically just 3-4 levels higher, but i guess others do. I hope that the next gen brings pokemonscaling for once, once you hit level 90, it gets too easy.. Again, i am not sold yet to Lets Go. I have to read carefully about the end-game. I dont want to hit an end like Red and Blue with nothing to do.

@Pdarklight
I dont hate Pokemon itself. I love pokemon Gold and Silver and i absolutely adore the designs of the ultra beasts, especially Buzzwole and Guzzlord.
As for now, this game doesnt seem to match what i want for my price and i can totally understand the negative reviewers, especially when the negative reactions is backed off proof with Youtube videos and the Mew-addon which is a bad sign. But not that i care much about this game, i hated Pokemon Go and i can skip this game because what i want is a true remake or a new generation. With ingame wild battles.

Re: People Are Review-Bombing Pokémon: Let's Go Across Major Sites, Amazon Japan Blocks User Scores

Samsamsam

@Pdarklight Take a good look at the levels of pokemon the guy is using while oneshoting elite four.. I am not the type who completely sides with negative reviewers intantly, but when people are others immature for being negative, then i am curious about it. And what i have seen, i side more to the negative reviewers than the people defending this game. People are mad at many things such as not being able to take off XP-share, op skills, removed content compared to the advance remakes only 153 pokemon, warning signs such as putting Mew on a paywall, and i can totally understand why, especially considering this games cost. The opposite effect happened with the movie Venom. People rated it highly, i went to watch it, and i enjoyed it. So to me, it is usually the "loud minority" who is largely correct, but not all the time. I am sorry, i do respect mature people more than immature people, but when it comes to game reactions, i dont know what side to choose. I have been listening to mature people praising a game hating on the "loud minority" just to end up with a game that i sold a week later due to having the same problems the "vocal minorities" had.

Re: People Are Review-Bombing Pokémon: Let's Go Across Major Sites, Amazon Japan Blocks User Scores

Samsamsam

I dont want to go against other pokemon fans but when you put Mew on a DLC that costs way too much and if you put up streams where your starter pokemon oneshots the whole elite 4, then i can understand why people are putting 0 on the game. I havent even touched it but based on this Mew thing, the mechanics, the price of the game and the oneshoteverything, i can pretty much understand why people grade it this low. Especially when Leafgreen and Firered seems to have much more content while costing tons less, and that game is way older than this one. Ill wait for the next gen instead.

Re: Video: Not Everyone Is Pleased With Nintendo Labo

Samsamsam

I have been a Nintendofan since i played snes at the age of 4.
Ive owned most nintendo console and seeing this Labo thing makes me think that this is a 1st April joke. Many Nintendofans seem to love it and hate people being against it. I dont know. Id love to be able to use my body to beat people in Smash Bros, i hope it comes one day, but id rather have plastic censors than using cartridge boxes all over my body making me look like the virgin protection joke pic. I wouldnt even buy this for a kid. What is it, 69.99 for some boxes? 0_0
