Anyway, they better start taking about the NX and get a hold of the conversation because they opened a can of worms by mentioning it back when. You also don't need anymore multiplayer games, isn't Splatoon supposed to trickle out DLC for months?

@Ninstarkof: Zombi U and Lego City Undercover were 3rd party exclusives that did not sell well. Need For Speed was the best console version and didn't sell well. Assassin's Creed games did not sell well. The argument that 3rd party games didn't sell well on the Wii U because they were old and/or broken is bunk.

@Ninstarkof: Except the Wii U launched with decent 3rd party support but no one bought those games. 3rd Party games do not sell very well on Nintendo consoles. It has been this way since the N64.

@rjejr: Did you miss E3, Nintendo blew their load. All they have is a PS2 looking Star Fox game, a delayed Woolly World, a game titiled one letter because they couldn't bother with that and that they have been parading around for years (despite Nintendo saying that they don't do that) and some Animal crossing party games. Time to move on.

This NX thing could be more powerful then the NSA supercomputers and 3rd parties are not coming back because the games don't sell on Nintendo platforms.

What a mess Nintendo has on their hands; uncertainty, speculation, doubt all are front and center when people discuss Nintendo now.

Even if the "NX" is the most powerful console in the world 3rd Parties are not coming back. You see for 3rd Parties to come back to NIntendo consoles, Nintendo consumers actually need to buy the games.

@CapnKael: Well, for one thing Nintendo talks out of both ends. Sometimes they show games longer than 6 months out and when they don't have anything they say well, actually we don't do that. But I guess Reggie's right for some people, "Here's what I would state: we know what our fans want."

@rjejr: First off, Are we "Wii U friends?" If not we should be. Back to your question. No I haven't. Maybe I will get it as a late birthday present or father's day gift then I will keep it. Will see by this weekend. Part of me does want it, but honestly seeing how the Wii U days are numbered and my disdain for Nintendo right now has me leaning towards never. Hopefully the Splatoon NX DX will be cross gen compatible so those who bought the Wii U version can enjoy the game for some time. How much is the amiibo 3 pack gong for on eBay these days anyway?

I finally agree with @Quorthon. Nintendo's arrogance is catching up with them. Compared to Playstation and Xbox, Nintendo appears to not really give a hoot about its fans and milks the extremely loyal ones like crazy.

Have them on the VC but would possibly get this for those "HD Graphics" and extras.

Nintendo has really handled the whole amiibo thing poorly. Though I got a 3 pack, why would they not make the squid available individually for others?

That is certainly way to keep interest going. It's like when you play a video game and start with a super powered up character and then in a little while you lose all those abilities and have to start over. Same idea though since the content its lacking to really build off this concept with Splatoon, this could be a way Nintendo can achieve this.

Here's another thought. The Splatoon Summer DLC Olympics should be the 2015 Nintendo World Championships. Think about it... To be able to compete with the other half of the game, I mean in the new DLC, challengers have to rank in the upper echelon of the just released DLC. It's set up perfectly for rounds. Where's Reggie?
