As a North American, I'm actually glad Xenoblade came out in Europe first because the English dub is so much better than if they'd used the same 8 American voice actors every other game has. The voices in this game are so great. Glad they're all back. I had no idea Melia's actress became so successful. Good for her.

@Arkay I've never once played an Animal Crossing game without some exploit to pay off my house and build a nice nest egg and I've played most of them for hundreds of hours each.

If anyone has a problem with that, they can drive themselves crazy obsessing over how other people play the game.

@Zyph It's $15 for one of the versions of the base game and another $15 for the rest of the characters as DLC. People complain and whine about it but they wouldn't bat an eye if it was just one version for $30. It's pathetic.

Sonic 2 did come out, even though it's not on the list for some reason.

Before Ultimate was announced, I was speculating that the Switch Smash game would be a combo of the Wii U and 3DS games (all of the stages and modes in one game) with a few new characters and the return of the Ice Climbers. Instead we got something more ambitious than that. If the next Smash game is just a port of Ultimate with some bonus content, I'll probably be OK with that.

What exactly does Nintendo have to gain from putting money into the Smash Bros. scene? It's already the best selling fighting game of all time.

User reviews have no value anyway. Look at the random idiots you see complaining about every game online and ask yourself if you care what they have to say about games or other media?

I bought a Wii U specifically for this game.

Free-to-play belongs on the bottom, but other than that, this is exactly how I would have arranged this list.

There needs to be some way to transfer your save when the Switch Pro comes out. I never would have upgraded to a New Nintendo 3DS if I'd needed to leave my Animal Crossing town behind to do it.

@Manah Years later, when they released the RV cards, the only way to get those characters to move into your town was from the RV campsite. It was mostly (entirely?) villagers who were in previous AC games and not New Leaf before that point.

Look, any time a character I don't actively dislike is added to Smash Bros., I'm OK with it. I like Fire Emblem: Three Houses and while there are other characters I would have liked more, Byleth is fine and there are six more chances for Wonder Red to show up as DLC.

@ap0001 What self-insert characters? Aside from Byleth, they all have their own dialogue and specific personalities, both in Smash Bros. and in Fire Emblem.

That's nice. The Pokedex cut still sucks, though, and Sword and Shield would be the worst Pokemon game even without the cut.

Considering Sword and Shield would still be the worst Pokemon games even if they included the full National Dex, of course this won't please the "moaning Dexit crowd."

@Crockin Axing tons of mainstay features (dungeons, story, exploration, GTS, not to mention the national dex) and replacing them with the Wild Area does not make a AAA game. Also things like environment design are not "bloat."

Selling Pokemon numbers is just more of a reason why they could have afforded not to cut half the Pokemon and a bunch of features, not more of a reason why it's OK that they did.
