Here's our first attempt...

If your hype for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is running as wild as ever, you may want to spend a little bit of time with this excellent fan-made Town Tune tool.

Yes, as the title of this article suggests, you can now go ahead and create your very own Animal Crossing Town Tune online thanks to the folks at NookNet. Using the Island Tune Creator (oh yeah, we guess they'll be called 'Island Tunes' now...) you can create a 16-note melody using a very similar tool to that seen in the real games.

From there, you can go ahead and give it a name and share it for the world to see and play. Some eager fans have been sharing their own creations on the New Horizons subreddit; we've shared a few of our favourites below.

And one that we made ourselves just now:

Of course, this serves as perfect practice for making your real Island Tune when the game launches next week - why not use this as an opportunity to nail down your perfect melody?

It reminds us of the recent boarding pass tool that also made its way online, where fans could input their name, departure location, and seat number to create their own plane ticket (which has incidentally since expanded to include passports and greetings cards). We're loving the creativity and passion being shown for these little projects.

If you make one tune yourself, make sure to share it with the rest of us in the comments below.

Thanks to CelesMeh for the tip!
