Re: Review: Snow Bros. Nick & Tom Special - A Tired Bubble Bobble-Alike That's Finally Affordable

RetroGamerAndrew

Terrible, terrible review. The main selling point: it looks like Bubble Bobble bit it's not Bubble Bobble, therefore it sucks. Also, calling Snow Bros a D tier arcade game gives me the measure of how little the review knows about the whole arcade scene. And I'm not even talking about the remake here.
I refrain, plain wrong, biased and shallow review. I can agree with a bad rating if it's backed by reasonable opinions, but that's not the case. This review gets a 0/10.

Re: Review: BioShock: The Collection - Three Of The Best Single-Player Shooters Ever, All In One Place

RetroGamerAndrew

The first episode is a TERRIFIC game, one of the best I've ever played in fact, but hardly a good FPS.
I'll be unpopular but I think that there are better suited games for the Switch, but if you REALLY REALLY REALLY can't play them on another platform (PC is the optimal choice for the controls, but any other game console will do), go grab this collection NOW.

Re: Koji Igarashi Didn't Expect The Switch Version Of Bloodstained To Be "As Bad" As It Was At Launch

RetroGamerAndrew

Too little to late... btw, you can't come here saying "you did't expected to be as bad", a simple playtest would've brought up all the problems I've been experiencing in my (luckily short) playthrough, such as FPS dips, graphic glitches, and so on... not really happy with his one, I should've played it as soon as I had the opportunity (I bought retail) so I could send it right back to Amazon

Re: German Publisher First Press Games Will Distribute Physical Releases For Switch

RetroGamerAndrew

I'm all for physical releases, but there's a limit (pun intended).
On a serious note, I've finally realized I can't keep buying 'em all as I'd love to... high cost, import duties, release timing (pretty useless when a game gets a physical release 2 years after) so I' think I'm going all the way digital for most indies, keeping physical for big, mainstream games or critically acclaimed indies (i.e. Celeste and the like) but just for the sake of collecting.

Re: The Free Wizard Of Legend Sky Palace Update Is Now Available

@koekiemonster No, it's not an easy game. You need to learn enemies' attack patterns, time your own attacks and more generally have quick reflexes. It's not Dark Soul-hard, that's what I meant. You'll get killed a lot in the first few hours but in the meantime you'll be unlocking more powerful spells that will help you on your journey
