I'd have to hold me back from buying this one on Switch in the case. I played all Diablo(s) right from the first installment on PC back in '96, literally pouring several thousands of hours in it... I must refrain from doing the same again on my Switch

@Lroy you just named some of my favourite arcade shoot-formers(R), however Flinthook doesn't implement the same enemy-throwing mechanics. I have it on Steam, it's a good roguelite shooter with signature grappling-hook controls and superb pixel art. Be warned, it might get repetitive quickly, and gets very difficult to the point of being unfair the more you go on.
I might double dip to play it on the go, but my backlog is already too big (...I have to say that before buying anything)

Already preordered DK, skipping Kirby for the moment, I need to find out how much "meat" is there and if it's fully enjoyable as a single player experience.
Looking forward to grab physical editions for Owlboy, Darkest Dungeon, Wonderboy, Shantae, WG Reloaded and SW Dig 2... well sooner or later, I'm in no hurry

@Mr_Horizon NeuroVoider is a much, much better shooter (albeit a different one admittedly), I suggest you to stick with it!

As @meppi64 pointed out, it gets boring really fast. The art style is nice and all, but when it comes down to run&gunn-ing the controls feels out of place and the action is all but intense and exciting. All in all I agree with a 6/10 score: it's not dog crap-bad, but gameplay-wise I just find it dull & unimpressive.

No way. I have it on Steam (man, I'm repeating this line so many times, it's beginning to sound like a mantra), tried for less than an hour and it was a huge letdown. Not gonna take the bait this time.

Have it on PC, great game... but I agree, it's among the thoughest I've ever played. Be sure not to miss it!

@Fake-E-Lee you said it man, Aqua Kitty UDX is a simple but incredibly funny little shooter! I double dipped in day 1… having vanilla version on Steam... and don't regret it a tiny bit.

Brought back this game from obliv...ehm my backlog yesterday, death mechanic was really brutal indeed... Got killed twice far from a checkpoint in a really bad spot... took me forever to kill the zombies and reach back to my old guns. Not nice, glad they made some changes.

@Robotron2084 yeah, more an italian western fan tho, but 70's italian "poliziottesco" is something I like to go back to from time to time!

@Lroy hey glad to hear that mate! I think "poliziottesco" is still a bit underrated in my country, but it's a very enjoyable (albeit niche) genre nonetheless, like the much more appreciated spaghetti western.

Being italian myself I'm just too curious to see if this little game will do justice to the old Italian "poliziottesco"-style movies from the seventies. However, I don't think that people from all over the world will manage to contextualize all the references... I hope the shooting and the plot will be solid.

Bought it as soon as it was available on eShop... I personally play-test dozens of shooters and believe me guys, this one's a little gem. Easy to pick up/hard to master arcade gameplay, HUGE replayability, online leaderboards, striking visuals, kittens (?): it truly deserve a place on every SHMUP lover's Switch without questions. I'm still dreaming about the day when Tikipod will port Iron Crypticle on Switch... boy that's a sick retro-styled twin-sticks shooter, check it out on Steam!

Any retro or retro-styled SHMUP realease on Switch is always welcome! Can't seem to find informations anywhere, let's wait for a review

On Steam I think you shouldn't miss Raiden (at least III/IV, didn't play V yet but it looks amazing), Tale of ALLTYNEX with its 3 episodes: ALLTYNEX Second, RefleX, KAMUI (each one with peculiar game mechanics - i.e. melee combat, reflecting bullets and dual combat layers), Jamestown (classic SHMUP action, multiple ships, amazing steampunk setting), Ikaruga; as for danmakus, I'll suggest Mushihimesama, DoDonPachi, Danmaku Unlimited II & III and the 3 eXceed
