I don't understand why they have changed the image ratio.
Or you go 4:3 or 16:9 but not 8:5. What the heck is 8:5 ?

Another sad thing, they left the game at 240p which means that the upscale on an HD screen is going to be x4.5.

Times 4.5 = deformed graphics on the TV screen.

Even if I understand that the developers wanted to keep a sub-multiple of 720 to match the screen of the Switch perfectly (240 is 720/3), the result on the big TV screen is going to be messy.

Otherwise, cool game but I prefer to play it on my CRT with a Dreamcast hooked to it.

From my point of view, the music is just bad.
I can clearly hear that the "compositions" are not made by a real musician.
The game in itself is not bad but it borrows too much from other games (sprites and backgrounds).

The graphical work is fantastic.
I don't like the type of game but I admire the quality of the visuals.

The huge download of 22Gb + microtransactions + 384p handheld and 540p docked = I'm going to pass with no doubt !

Not a valid argument because a lot of japanese people saved money when they buy a Switch.

In the past, they had to buy a handheld and a home console.
Now for 24,980 yen ($227) they get the handheld + the home system.

I don't think that the numbers are impressive.

The Switch is the new handheld from Nintendo in Japan.
When I look back, from the Gameboys to the DSs, I think that the Switch does not that great. It's not bad but not great either.

The game looks like 5% of a final product.
How is it possible to publish a prototype as if it was a game ?

It's like Capcom is becoming a great company again.
They started with Monster Hunter World and right after, Resident Evil 2 and now DMC 5. Really impressive.

VR with 720p resolution ?

The real problem is not only the low resolution and the missing of environmental details but the framerate.
In a game like trial, 60fps is fundamental.

I bought the PS4 resident evil origins collection (resident evil 0 and resident evil) brand new on disc €14.99 more than a year ago.

It's €60 on Switch ? For digital copies ? Everything's alright. Morons.

I keep my physical version of Resident Evil Origins Collection.
I bought it last year brand new 14.99€.

I like Capcom for their games but they can go to hell when it's about price on the Switch.

Inspirations from other games could be the reason why I felt that the game was a plagiarism.

The only thing that I can say is that they plagiarized a lot.
The technical part is solid but everything else is, at best, mediocre.
The tune reminds me something but I can't remember what it is exactly.
I think they ripped off a track and modified it. It's clearly what they already did with the visuals.

This is what happen when your eyes are bigger than your belly.
I was hoping for a good game but I felt kind of skeptical after the first video.
That's sad.

This game is a beast. From the first second of the trailer I was sold.
It's like the game ticks all the boxes. Ambiance, style, ideas, music, graphics, animations, everything is perfect.
I love everything, absolutely everything.

I'm not convinced at all by the game.
I was charmed by the excellent Wooly World and I have to admit that my hype for Crafted World dropped to zero after the demo.

I think Crafted World reused the engine of Wooly World but I don't really like the art direction.

My Switch is dusty like never before and I thought that I could play again with the new Yoshi's game but I won't, sadly.

It is difficult to clearly explain why but globally, the game seems to be made with several pieces of unreleased games put together to build a new one.
I have the sense that even the game is only made to get a maximum cash on the back of gullible players.

I'm going to wait to see more, specially with a price of €30.

The game has too much flaws IMO.
This is sad because I'm sure the developers wanted to give their best to make a great game.
It's impossible to deny the problems in the game that's why I'm not going to buy the collector's edition.

I am impressed by this game. The team behind the title knows how to make it feels and plays like a genuine 16bits hit (with 16/9 ratio).

When I take the time to read your list of games, it appears that you have shown the real problem with the Switch.

The majority of the titles are ports or mediocre exclusives such as kirby or Mario Tennis Aces.
There is a real lack of new good titles on Switch. Anybody with objective eyes sees that.

DId you bought the Switch at launch ?

I did and I got Joycon and WiFI issues. Another strange thing that I never heard of, is that my Switch is not straight when docked.
This is not a problem to play but it looks so "low quality". It's almost like I see only that when I sit on my couch.

You see, Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony I buy their products at launch. There is a two years warranty on each.

Be realistic, when games will be made 4K native, no developer would like to rework a game to make it fit 720p.

This is a performance issue.
That's why they don't release Spyro at the same time. The game runs at 60 frames per second 1080p on PS4 and Xbox and they don't want us to see the direct comparison.

They're going to do what happend with Dark Souls Remastered already, moving the Switch version further away to make it easier to sell.

This is a problem now but it would become a huge problem when PS5 and Xbox Scarlett will be there.

I still have my PS2 version of the game and "Me and My Katamari" on my PSP. I'm not going to buy the game again.

I can't wait to get something else than old games because my switch is really dusty right now.
