Re: Nihon Falcom Lacks The Ability To Release More Games On Switch, Says President

@NEStalgia :"That's Switch this time. Japanese Ys VIII sales on Switch weren't spectacular because most their potential customers already played the game years ago when it was released on Vita, it wasn't new there like it was here when it released on Switch."

NO ! Because the Switch version was low resolution and not 60fps butter smooth like it was on PS4 and the price , my gosh, the price $60 on Switch $20 on PS4...

@NEStalgia

I think there is a language for the customers and another one for internal talks.

Nihon Falcom has made 8 games on PS4 :

Ys Origin
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
Tokyo Xanadu

You objectively think that they're going to stop on PS5 ?
I'm ready to bet with you bruh ! ;D

Re: Resident Evil 5 And 6 Shamble To Switch This October

PCkid

More I see where we go with the industry, more I start to think to focus on games from the past and play them on their original hardwares.

The Switch is probably my last console from Nintendo.
This generation is the worst that I experienced since I started to play.

Actually I'm playing Lunar on the original PlayStation and guess what... it's better than everything I played from the launch of the Switch until now.
It's a real problem I think. We are talking about RE4, a game that I bought on the GameCube, available on PS2, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, PC and now the Switch.

When Capcom is going to stop ? RE4 on PS5 and XBOX Scarlett ? Come onnnnnn...

I copy/paste what I wrote a week ago already !

The plan is simple to understand.

The Switch in itself is gonna become a portable only. You'll be able to plug it on the TV but it's going to be considered as an "extra".
I can clearly see a "Power Dock" coming to simplify the ports of PS5/Scarlett to Nintendo's machine.

To make it short, Nintendo has "pre-sold" their "NEXTGEN" already.
Every Switch owner will have to buy the new dock to get better experience on their TV sets.

PS : the Switch mini is part of that strategy too BTW. (reducing the price of the system with no joycons anymore will be a great way to drop the price to $199).

Re: Review: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - A Fine Castlevania Tribute That's A Technical Trainwreck On Switch

PCkid

@Timsworld2

It's a major mistake to do what NL did.

From a publisher stand point :
"Wow that's great ! We don't have to take care about our games on Switch because the review will be good, whatever we work seriously on it or not !"

From a gamer stand point :
"Wow, I thought that game was a disgrace but NL says that it's a good game so I'm going to listen and buy that good game !"

When you discover your $40 game at home, in this state, broken, buggy, with crappy visuals, input lag, compressed sound quality, crashes etc... You can't be confident for the future reviews anymore...

Re: Review: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night - A Fine Castlevania Tribute That's A Technical Trainwreck On Switch

PCkid

7/10 ? Wow I don't know if I have to laugh or to cry ?

I thought NL will give a 5/10 because I know how generous the site is, but 7/10 for the Switch version of the game IT'S NOT PROFESSIONAL.

If I had to review the game on Switch it'll get a 3/10. I don't care that Iga is behind the project or not, I just see a broken game and a broken game deserve a bad score.

Re: Review: Super Mario Maker 2 - The Last 2D Mario Game You'll Ever Need

PCkid

@sanderev It's dirt cheap because that service is the crapiest ever.

Seriously, it's free on Wii U, I stay with Super Mario Maker.

PS : And I'd like to say that Mario Maker(game+artbook+Free Online) on Wii U was 34.99 at launch where I live.
Mario Maker 2 is expensiver + you don't have an artbook + you have to pay for the Online Service ? Please Nintendo GIVE ME A BREAK !

Super Mario Maker 2 is a trojan horse to "force" gamers to subscribe to the Online Service, that's simple as that.

PCKID out !

Re: Preview: Things We've Learned Playing Super Mario Maker 2

PCkid

@Meowskers

I said that with Super Mario Maker WiiU, I can play levels, I can build levels, I can share levels, I can play levels from my friends on my friendlist, I can play levels from unknown people.

In Super Mario Maker 2, I have no choice than to pay for the Online Service if I want to have the same experience.

In the end, I'm not going to buy the Online Service and I'm going to skip the game too. I'll continue to play Super Mario Maker on WiiU.

Re: Random: HBO Uses Wii U Controller To Promote Streaming App Only On PS4 And Xbox

PCkid

To be honest, the WiiU became my favorite system when it's about Nintendo.
I regret how stupid I was to pretend that the Switch was 1 Million times better at launch.
The reality is that I prefer almost everything on the WiiU compare to the Switch.
For example, the joycons are awful compare to the gamepad. The pro controller is way better on WiiU too.
