I’m not a fan of the indie games scene. I had a Switch but didn’t really play it much. For some odd reason I even prefer Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U. 🤷‍♀️
I’ve switched back to the Wii U now and I’m glad I did. I play it all the time still.

I preordered as fast as my fingers would let me. I bought one off amazon for standard price just when they were available to buy. The seller then cancelled the order and relisted it at 4 times the price.

Elder scrolls Skyrim on Steam. Also Final Fantasy 3 on the SNES mini.

I’m going to finish it soon I think.

Kind of boring that LOZ: BOTW is going to win. I voted for Sonic Mania because it’s a classic Sonic game after decades a waiting.

I’d like Kung fu master and I’m not sure if it was on the NES or not but I’d like see Tapper and Burger Time released.

Odyssey shouldn’t be on the list. People are thinking about it more than others now and have only just forked out £60ish for it.

I have both standard and special edition of Skyrim on steam but they keep crashing. The idea of playing on the main tv on a console is appealing. Hopefully no crashing and if I download it I can just keep having quick 5 min games.

The price is a big put off though for such an old game. Also the character models on special edition where a let down and this Switch version looks no better.

This is why I may start using my Wii instead of the Switch. The latest greatest releases just aren’t doing it for me. Might play some ‘casual’ Wii games instead.

@speedracer216 I’ve been thinking the same thing. No one ever seems willing to criticise the Switch on this site.

I think the Switch is OK but not great for me so far. I’m mainly playing the mini SNES instead.

I was expecting a lot more from this game. Given all the hype I thought was going to be an even better Zelda game than Link to the Past. But for me however I kind of got bored of it as it felt repetitive and I got annoyed at the weapons breaking. I would have also like a linear storyline.

Would have say nothing for me but I gave in and got Infinite minigolf. It’s cheaper on Steam but being able to play in portable mode made paying £2 more worthwhile. Not sure what I think of it so far, the controls are a bit sensitive.

Not anything for me yet. Just got Neo Geo games on switch so far.

I have never really had this game. Not even sure if it was made for my Atari 2600. I will be getting this soon.

Nice, one of my all time fav shooters.

I've played it and I really like it, but I wouldn't pay £10 for it given I bought it on other formats before.

I hope they don't make the game have 'realistic' handling like other games by making it feel like the car is driving on ice. Also, downforce should be accounted for.

Also I hope it has some flare to create a feeling of reward and excitement. I really like racing games but the last modern racing game I loved was PGR 3 on the Xbox 360. Others seemed boring and feel like I'm driving on ice.

@Starbuster I played Botw and it's nice but after finishing it I wasn't fussed about it tbh.
I mainly play Neo Geo games on it.

Concerned that there are no sources oncoming AAA games that I want.

Although I seem to remember there's a Yoshi game coming out. I think that's my next cartridge I will buy.

Though I'm not 100% sold in Mario Odyssey. Currently playing Lego City that was on the Wii U also I just didn't get around to playing it. I could have kept my Wii U and just bought Lego City.

I was hoping for a new Mario Kart and a Mario 3D World 2 (or something like that).

This is bad PR for Nintendo. They should make more to meet demand for both Mini NES and SNES even if it costs them. It's not like they are being given away for free! People are willing to pay money to own them. Instead its leaving me with a bad impression of a company I have had a lot of respect for over the decades.

Also why cant Nintendo release a NES and SNES compilation? I would rather have that TBH then I can take the games with me.

This is what I've been thinking they should have done with the nes mini. I'm hoping they do this on the eshop and on cartridge.

Golden Axe (2D), Alex Kidd (side scroller), Panzer Dragoon, Streets of Rage (side scroller), Micheal Jackson 2 Arcade (Sega owned?), Outrun, Chase HQ 3. Typing of the dead 2 lol.

Just not worth it for me. Especially when Yatch Club's kickstarter games where so good.

I've played both. I really liked Arms. It looked great. Just like the screen shots and controlled smoothly.

I tilted the motion controls and used them as you would with punch out on the Wii.

Splatoon 2 looked liked the Wii U version only smoother and with more characters.

Seemed good to me but I'm not a fan and I lost.

I think the Wii U was a personal huge success because from my perspective my wife and I bought and played lots of really very good games on it and was never with out a great game to play.

I already bought this on the Wii and Wii U and can't bring myself to buy it yet again.

Internal storage is fastest. Really not sure I care about a few seconds difference though. I just found an old unused micro SD card and put it in.

Seems like a desperate attempt to come up with new ideas.

@Bruh I'm more fussy about controllers than most due to dyspraxia and I felt the joycon controllers where comfortable and natural to use.

I'm not even sure I'll bother with a pro controllers.

I liked this game but it made me feel kind of dumb for not doing the puzzles faster.

My wife loves the games and wants asap.

Booked for Birmingham event. I actually want to try one before I buy because I like the Wii U so much that it will take a lot to replace it.

I wanted a "waiting for Mario Kart" option before I get a Switch.

None of the other games interest me.

There are key games I'm waiting for before I buy. I also don't really like pre-ordering, I prefer to wait a little while and see what the system has to offer.

I'm referring to Fzero on the SNES.

@AlexSora89 I didn't find the cpu on Fzero at all difficult. I found it just right, unlike this series.

I like the look of this game but I'm sick of frustratingly hard cpu opponents!

I still play my Sega CD. I love silly pointless consoles (says a lot about me 😅). It's got my favourite version of Final Fight. I prefer it even over the Xbox Arcade version because it has limited continues.

There are number of great game on it, Terminator for example. The music on that game is epic!

Maybe I like the Wii U so much because it's a silly console as well as having a lot of great games.

Next stop Philips CDi (I bought one from new 😳 when they where in the shops).

@Oat I totally disagree. The unique games are what make the console special.

This has been one of my all time favourite consoles. My first console was an Atari 2600 as well.

I never want play my Xbox one. The games are all very run of the mill imho. Except for some classic remasters I missed the first time.

Double Dash!! My favourite MK game. Also I think there was a good Wave Racer GC game.

I have just preordered Daisy. She is my favourite Mario Kart racer.

A good point I heard Wiiviewr make was he hopes that stand is strong and doesn't break. They could make it out of metal for a classy look and extra strength I guess.

Dual screen for me is only wanted if my daughter has the TV. But the clever thing about the switch is I still have that functionality.

Not fussed about graphics. I just want accessible games with fun enjoyable graphics. And top notch local multiplayer features.

750ti is a weak but, "great considering its cheap" graphics card.

I would expect more than that tbh but I'm sure because they make the game purely for that card alone that's it's just about right.

Kind of sick of tiny characters and huge backgrounds.

I'm really sad that amongst other things the Wii U lacked, it also didn't have a Metroid game.

This along with no GameCube games and the 90s arcade racer not getting released was just sad.

Looks great... But then again so did 90s arcade racer.

I really want more games to play as I'm not into any current games. I like arcade style games.

I'm really getting bored with the Wii U games atm. Still waiting for GameCube releases on the VC.

Hopefully the NX will be out soon.
