I don’t have the game YET so does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of courses you can download? Upload limit is 32 but I really hope dl is not as limited.
@imgrowinglegs I played this on an old iPad that could only run it at about half speed. I got to the final battle that way! Maybe with proper buttons and on the Switch I’ll do a bit better and at full speed! Great game though.
I suppose if/when SNES games come to the Switch, Nintendo will release SNES controllers. They will be compatible with many more Switch games due to the extra buttons.
So this means only one of my two kids that will be playing this game on Christmas Day can get Mew? On the same Switch. Explain that to my kiddies Nintendo...
@Nemodius I don’t think they will. They would still face the same compromises with regards to performance vs battery life, heat etc. Nintendo did the best that anyone could have really given the tech at the time.
I would love the new iPad Pro processor in a Switch though. That thing is impressive.
@Retron Exactly what I always assumed too. I thought that was the obvious conclusion to draw from the name myself. That way there's Rule and Cruel in the one name.
@Freek Yep, my kids too! At least it makes a change from them "making" me play BotW or Odyssey again. I remember playing Yoshi's Woolly World on WiiU and they would scan an amino every few seconds so in one level I would go through dozens of costumes. I loved it as much as they did though!
I backed it earlier today. Looks very interesting to me and I'm a fan of card/board games. Getting some people around that will give it a go though... that's the challenge.
Also Nintendo never really knew what to do with their 2nd screen idea. The public was never convinced about its merits either. Outside of ZombiU and LEGO City there were not many good uses for it. But the WiiU had to exist for the almighty Switch to exist I guess.
This proves the almighty Switch is easy to develop for. Which explains why there are 700 games already. I'm glad that guy did this as I am really looking forward to playing these again.
@Hikingguy I totally agree with your view too. Nicely worded. I do recommend the 3DS version. The subtle use of 3D is nice. I have played it on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and 3DS. And soon Switch although I do think it should be a little cheaper.
Some review this is. No mention of the extra levels that was in the 3DS version. No explanation of what the co-op mode entails. Reviewer unaware of when the 3DS even came out. A handful of collectibles - there are exactly 20.
Jeez NL. WTF?
Anyway I regard VVVVVV as a masterpiece. It's got great music and incredibly challenging and inventive level design given Capt Veridian's moveset never changes. I will quadruple dip on this and grab all 20 trinkets while I'm at it.

Re: Random: The Detective Pikachu Full Movie "Leak" Is Better Than We Expected
Reminds me of a movie from years ago by the name of White Noise. A friend downloaded that and yep 2 hours of static! 😂
Re: BoyBoy! + BoxGirl! Is Coming To Switch On 26th April
The first 3 were great so this is a definite buy from me.
Does this mean they will finally release the Box Boy amiibo outside of Japan? Please. Please. Please! And Box Girl too.
Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey - A Worthy Remaster Of An RPG Classic
The original DS version did have the option to practice the special moves outside of battle.
Has the reviewer played the original?
I did only a couple of months ago and was delighted that I could practise the moves. Unlike Superstar Saga or Partners in Time.
Bowser’s Inside Story is the pick of them all for sure.
Re: This Switch Pro Controller Replacement Shell Is Pokémon: Let's Go Themed
It’s not leather, at least not on the official pro controllers. It’s vinyl. But very comfy all the same.
Re: Video: Nintendo Celebrates The Best Indie Hits Of 2018
@Friendly Thankyou so much!
Re: Video: Nintendo Celebrates The Best Indie Hits Of 2018
Nice trailer.
What was the music playing? I like it.

Great game though.

Re: Charles Martinet Receives Guinness World Record For Voicing Mario 100 Times
Since 1999?
I think the 1955 edition would object to that!
Re: Video: SNES Classic Runs PSone Games Better Than The PlayStation Classic
I was under the impression the PS Classic was more powerful. Just had a poor emulator?
Re: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Speeds Onto The Switch In June Next Year
@BlackenedHalo Well most 3D games from that era have not aged well, including MK64 really.
Anyway I’m just glad someone else has played Muppet Racemania. It never gets a mention on any kart racing list which is a shame.
Re: Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Speeds Onto The Switch In June Next Year
Great news. Now how about Muppet Racemania? Anyone remember that from PS1? That was awesome.
Re: Treasure Considering Arcade Shmup Radiant Silvergun For Switch
The more Treasure the merrier. Please Santa! Make it so.
Re: Switch Owners Aren't Worried About Visual Presentation, According To Crashlands Dev
In the next decade? We already have that now.

Re: Review: Saboteur! - A Well-Intentioned Nostalgia Trip That Fails To Get Pulses Racing
Nice review of a pretty bad game.
Not all 30 year old games can hold up today I guess.
Re: The Messenger's Quality Of Life Update Will Be Ready "Sometime" This Month
After I finished this amazing game I was shocked there was no new game +
I loved the game and would return but backlog.
Re: Devolver Digital Won't Release Mother Russia Bleeds On Switch In Australia, Due To "Government Folk" Who Do Not Approve
@bkbooth Exactly. Maybe Devolver just thinks it’s too much trouble for a relatively small market so they won’t bother.
Re: Devolver Digital Won't Release Mother Russia Bleeds On Switch In Australia, Due To "Government Folk" Who Do Not Approve
This makes me ashamed to be an Aussie. Just makes people import and avoid paying local businesses I guess.
Re: Nintendo's System Specs Have Always Been A "Big Barrier" For Bethesda
@Nemodius
I don’t think they will. They would still face the same compromises with regards to performance vs battery life, heat etc. Nintendo did the best that anyone could have really given the tech at the time.
I would love the new iPad Pro processor in a Switch though. That thing is impressive.
Re: Soapbox: Nintendo's Excuses Regarding Cloud Saves Aren't Good Enough
Yep this article is spot on.
It's embarrassing for Nintendo really.
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd August (Europe)
The Messenger for me. I've been looking forward to it.
Hollow Knight was a bargain at full price. So anyone interested in it should definitely grab it now!
Re: Random: Honda Commercial Shows Mario Bros. 3 Being Played With SNES Controllers
@Crono1973 I wouldn't.
Re: Random: Rare Employee Reveals Original Name Of K. Rool And Donkey Kong Country

Re: Kero Blaster Is Putting In A Shift On The Japanese eShop This Month
@Oat Not at all. Relax! I actually didn't know so I'm happy you let me know.
Re: Kero Blaster Is Putting In A Shift On The Japanese eShop This Month
@PhilKenSebben That would be great. I played it on my phone and that made me want the "full" game but I wanted buttons. So I shall get it on Switch.
Re: Kero Blaster Is Putting In A Shift On The Japanese eShop This Month
@Oat I don't think I did know...
But no matter as I don't game much at all on Steam. Everything's better on Switch anyway!
Re: Kero Blaster Is Putting In A Shift On The Japanese eShop This Month
Why yes I would download this on my Switch. It's been on phones for ages but I've always wanted to play it using proper controls.
Re: Weirdness: 70 Year Old Man Plays Pokémon GO With 11 Smartphones Attached To His Bike

This can't be attempted at home. Unless you live in a gym.
Re: Random: Here's A Custom-Made LEGO Version Of Super Mario’s Odyssey
I admire the effort more talented people than myself go to with their LEGO creations. I'd buy this and other Nintendo-themed kits in a flash.
Re: Review: Flat Heroes (Switch eShop)
@Fake-E-Lee There's a demo? Great. This game appears to me like it will take a demo to understand what it's all about. Off to try the demo I go.
Re: Nintendo Has Sold 19.67 Million Switch Consoles To Date
@westman98 @RETRO_J
NL should be paying you guys/gals- you provided info they really could have. Thank you!
Or maybe NL could hire a proofreader? Only 102 units of WiiU software all up? Hmmm.
Re: Super Rare Games Announces A Whopping Nine Physical Switch Releases
Gimme VVVVVV on a cart and... well I won't detail what I'd do for that...
Re: Review: Inside (Switch eShop)
Sounds interesting. On my radar now.
I'm a bit disappointed that no one has commented on what a great read this review was. I want to read more from this reviewer for sure.

@Rhaoulos Yep you've nailed it. 100% correct.
Also Nintendo never really knew what to do with their 2nd screen idea. The public was never convinced about its merits either. Outside of ZombiU and LEGO City there were not many good uses for it.

Great news. I didn't expect there to be that many yet though. Wow.
NL's review team has their work cut out for them.
Re: These Are The Games Included In SNK’s Neo Geo Mini And Neo Geo Mini International
Where's Nightmare in the Dark?
Doesn't really matter to me as there's only half a dozen Neo Geo games I'm interested in playing. But the ones I like I really like.
Re: Random: Looks Like Bloomingdale's Couldn't Get Hold Of A NES Classic For Its In-Store Display
@imgrowinglegs
There are Target stores here in Australia too!
But it is ridiculous that major stores can't get stock from Nintendo for their displays. Typical though.
Re: The Story Of Gorogoa, One Of The Switch's Most Intriguing Indie Titles Yet

Re: Nintendo's Share Value Soars As Switch Is Projected To Ship 16.74 Million Units By March
It's great to have Nintendo doing well again. It had been a while.
Every time I play any other games I think to myself- this would be better on Switch. I just love this system.

Re: Review: Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (Switch eShop)
I've wanted this since it was a PS4 exclusive (or at least PS4/pc) so I'm so happy it's on my favorite console now!
Also great to hear it's good as a single player game. That's a nice surprise to me.
I love the aesthetics but the way.
