That said, I think that Cadence of Hyrule was a exception. It's natural that more indies would start showing interest, but I'm not sure if public statements like these are going to work... Feels like a opportunistic way to pressure to Nintendo, while Cadence was a mutually agreed surprise
Ouch, just spent money on Undertale and My Friend Pedro (two completely opposite games, one is like, nobody needs to die, the other is, kill everyone in the most awesome way) otherwise would definitely pick up Assault Android Cactus
Well I just gave up on my backlog and I'll play whatever comes to mind, no pressure Just bought Cuphead so there's that Some Downwell runs maybe Also I'm going back to Baba is You and BotW, I still didn't finish The Champions' Ballad
Niice Nostalgia 😥 The original one felt like everything was right, characters, sound effects, items... It has a strong personality, it's more than a mario kart clone It's really close to the original Nitro Kart was close too but something was off, felt generic... But looks like they nailed it on this one
Ouch
Too close to Zelda's size, which I picked physical
This one I don't think is worth physical, as they're around 20-25% more expensive than digital in my country, but also, for this much space... Still, I bought Starlink and Revelations 2, so maybe, but I'm getting more picky now
@TheLightningYu Nice I have a bit of prejudice towards musou-like games, this gave me a better perspective (never played one) Still I kinda feel that too many enemies must be annoying Things like DMC3 are challenging but give you some room to work it out on your own, musou-likes feels to me that they're either super easy or super hard, just too many enemies But the endgame / boss thing you said looks nice, assuming they're fair and not just damage sponges
I guess fire emblem will be the only must buy 🤔 will be my first proper experience with the series (just quickly played some gba title before)
Was thinking into picking Youngblood because I liked the Terror Twins but maybe it's not worth the sd space
I'm suspecting Mario maker 2 will need the online subscription... I don't think the service is good enough to pay for the other games... Not sure if I would pay just for Mario maker, but lots of 2d mario levels is a tempting idea
Also I really liked the Infinite War movie, way more pessimistic than most super hero movies, will check for reviews of Ultimate 3
Wow weirdly I'm more interested on Bubsy, as this one is from the Bit.Trip devs 🤔
That's just baffling, probably it will be the best Bubsy ever (not that it's a notable achievement, but it's interesting anyway)
Also, Duck game is nice, I have already on pc, but maybe will be nice carrying It when I go visit friends... Wish it had traditional bots
@Razzy yeah that's true Overclocking is risky, I myself toasted a nvidia 9600gt once, this is more like just more power management options for the devs Anyway using 'overclocking' as 'over the stock Switch clock' is not that big of a deal is it
It's actually also tied with the Switch 8.0 update, people found out that the Switch cpu has its clock increased from 1 to 1.75GHz during specific moments, but the games have to receive a update to use the 'boost mode'
I played a bit, 24 matches, win ratio 67%, 4 tournaments I'm actually enjoying it, the problem is that sometimes it takes too long to find matches Maybe if the bots are challenging enough in single player I can see myself sinking tons of hours on it Graphically-wise it's kinda simple, you can see how low detail are the crowd, but overall it's colorful and nice enough The finals commentary can be a bit repetitive, and I only played like 5 Maybe it needs some polish in the presentation but the core gameplay is awesome Maybe when it's on sale...
Well that was a funny plot twist I actually liked the looks of the game, for a bit I thought it would be a totally different 3rd person adventure, then I saw the K T logo so we kinda know what to expect, but hey, maybe it can be nice
@Yosher I guess they already blurred the lines, those "full-priced" games could as well as be free More than half of Activisions' revenue comes from monetization alone But why cut the "full-price" if people will buy it anyway? Sure, Mortal Kombat looks like it has some nice single-player story content, so I think it deserves a entry price, but won't be surprised if it gets huge "discounts" Nba 2k got like 75% off I think that if sales significantly drop because of full price + monetization, they will probably get rid of the full price, not of the shady practices
For me it's the opposite, I'm not interested in buying a PS4 or a better pc for playing greyish-brown shooters Sure, Kingdom hearts and Dmc would be nice though But I really doubt you guys played or bought all that stuff you listed, maybe you're rich and on vacation... I still have Kingdom Battle, Sonic Mania, Smash to finish, still didn't buy Yoshi, recently bought Celeste and Baba is You, and have some other stuff on my backlog "Only indies" for the whole year... That's not a problem if you like indies, sometimes more than random cinematic shooters, what you call "good" games is subjective I still want to buy Ape Out, and maybe Katana Zero Everyone is different, y'know (mind blowing)
Never played his games 😢 though looks like his work is nicely stylized, I'm interested in the possible killer7 extended version But I watched a video of him talking about how the team was putting effort in Travis strikes again and the DLCs and it really annoyed me, he talked with such confidence that people were interested in the DLCs when the game feels already overpriced... I don't like to spread negativity, I'm actually looking forward for their next releases, nice to hear he likes the Switch
Whoa maybe the timing on the switch isn't the best but when I played on pc I thought it was awesome
I recommended to my brother and he completed the first loop before than me
Enter the Gungeon released and was the 'meh another one'
Nuclear Throne is fast paced, with nice characters, enemies, weapons
There's alternate routes, space cops etc, little details that were always nice to discover
Or maybe I'm nostalgic already
Those games are getting surreally big aren't they? Other consoles sure have more than 32gb internal but there's like one game for 100gb there... The Stadia presentation mocked the install times of the 'new exciting releases'
Mario has 6gb, Zelda 15gb... Everything above it feels like waste of space
I liked Rollcage, played the pc demo a lot Didn't buy this one as it got nasty reviews plus it was expensive... But now on sale and with this update... Maybe...
I liked the digital version, got it 66% off
The toys approach feels like a barrier to what is a nice game, if somewhat repetitive
From time to time I receive a notification of a free trial of a ship that was actually included on the digital standard package
Anyway, looking foward to the April content update, my wingmate downed Wolf too fast 😢
@BlueOcean that's nice news, actually So it's longer maybe, which makes me more interested, besides it looking like a solid port Maybe people answer trying to boast or something, my statistics teacher gave examples of faulty surveys, like average income from people graduated from some college, probably mostly the best ones would be collected etc
@Prizm Dude they opened with Iron Man VR and closed with more characters for Mortal Kombat. It was THAT empty There was interesting bits, like Concrete Genie and a game where a weird character says something like 'Well this looks like the right place' or something But the video got massively disliked I guess you're just trolling though The freaking Nindies presentation had better games https://youtu.be/MtLcE9dHhiE
I was excited for this one, the soundtrack alone was awesome... then I saw its HowLongToBeat entry For $20 there's Celeste and Cuphead... Maybe too short to pick at full price?
I stopped playing Hollow Knight because I always got lost then died on the way to nowhere. Still, those occasional unlocks, story beats and bosses were nice. I'm not sure If Cuphead is as frustating, as I read is basically short bursts, so it compells you to keep trying. I think the problem was the simple mode. Why have it if you lock people out of the latter stages and you basically have to restart and play the supposed 'proper' way to progress? That's just weird, not sure if the 'vision' talk justifies how they handled it.
Also, they've announced a Indie sale! I picked up Night in the Woods, as it was the last years' Seumas' McNally grand prize winner, hope it lives up to it
Other games on sale includes Inside, Firewatch, Bloodstained
Now besides Cuphead (though I've noticed I'm easily frustated after playing Hollow Knight) and Cadence, I'm into vlambeer stuff, so maybe I'll check the new arcade as others I've played.
Also that katana one was interesting with those moments between missions.
@Agramonte that text is from the developer blog, not from here Maybe they're joking as the game doesn't even have fluid animations, can't see the difference from the original
There was a 4chan post dated 20 february that goes "This is it. Believe it now or later. >Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield >Region is Great Britain >Legendary Pokémon are metal snake and wooden horse >Armored Evolutions >Armored Charizard, Armored Mewtwo, Armored Flygon, Armored Zeraora... >Meltan ties into Armored Evolution and Legendary lore" It got at least the name right Maybe the rest was to troll people, as the armoured thing wasn't new. @shadowharold Hi! A little late but, can you clarify why it would damage the plastic? Just to be sure, it's not regular WD-40, it's the electrical contact cleaner one. I actually tried on mine with a random brand contact cleaner spray and it worked... The right joy-con was pretty annoying, it's as good as new, but now I'm worried.
Edit: on the official site ( https://www.wd40specialist.com/products/contact-cleaner/ ), it says "Safe to use on plastic, rubber and metal"
That's the way to go isn't? It's made for cleaning sensitive electronics without disassembling them

Re: Cuphead Developer Dreams Of Making A New Zelda Game
Hand-drawn Zelda would be interesting
