I moved to Indonesia in 2022 two days after Legends Acres came out, and it really got me through jet lag and the whole move. It served as a huge comfort-blanket, I guess. Then, later that year Xenoblade 3 went even further to change how I saw my life. Pikmin 4, in July, once again helped me, and I'm not even sure how. xD
It's really crazy how influential a hobby like this can be. I play video games for fun, but they've gotten me through so much.
It's kind of painful to see the price tag on this after just getting a new Toree. I would probably end up enjoying it, but buying it is so difficult when I could get a much larger game for the same price.
@Poodlestargenerica you know what? I don’t remember saying anywhere it my comment that I wanted a new team to handle it. How strange of you to assume so.
@JimNorman Something else I noticed! Zelda appears to be able to create echoes based on how many triangles are trailing behind Tri at a time. Different echoes have different triangle costs too. I guess we’ll be getting more triangles things as we go on
I just finished Chapter 3 in TTYD, and I am blown away by how good it was. I’m seeing why people love this game so much, and Chapter 4 is already amazing. I have high expectations for the rest of the game.
I wouldn't say that I'm a hardcore Monster Hunter fan, but I'll take anything they add to the series. Something about the whole world and vibe of everything is really satisfying and kind of cozy. I just love it.
Some of these are ones that I'm purely uninterested in, but I guess that's what keeps me coming back. It got me to try Xenoblade 2 and FF7, and those are now two of my favorites.
I now have 34 of these, though!! Like I said; some, such as Bayonetta, are unlikely for me to ever have much interest in, but it's nice to have them suggested.
That's got to be a ton of content altogether, right? Sounds awesome, but I really have a lot to play. Adding a huge game isn't really what I'm wanting right now, but I'll definitely choose this version whenever I get around to it.
We Love Katamari is bought! It looks so fun, and I’ve wanted to get into it, but I haven’t been able to justify $30 for such a random purchase. I’ll get around to it in a couple of months😅😂
I still haven't bought this yet, so whenever I get my backlog cleared, I'll definitely check this out. I just bought P5R recently, and I'm excited to get more into Atlus games.
I didn't know that this was co-developed by Marvelous! Everything I'm excited for right now seems to be from either them or Capcom, and I guess this is a perfect mix
I so want Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade remakes!!
I'm also exited to potentially see more about the Rune Factory Spinoffs and RF6. Maybe even RF1S or RF2S?
And of course, anything Harvest Moon/SoS is welcome. I'm super excited about that multiplayer Sos that they announced, and I want to say there was one other SoS spinoff they announced last year. Regardless, there's a ton to be excited about here, and this is easily as big as a full Direst for me.
I had a similar thing happen to me with Xenoblade DE, and uh... you see where that got me. I finished it the first time, but really rushed, and by the end I was struggling to survive on easy mode. Second time through, I spent around five hours doing side quests in Colony 9 before even getting the Monado.
I had originally meant the replay to distract me from spending money on the newly released Xenoblade 3, but in the end, it was what pushed me to buy it
Super Mario RPG was a huge disappointment for me, and I was worried that this would be a similar situation. Thankfully, I'm really enjoying it so far, though I don't see how this is so different than Origami King.
I can't wait to finally see what all the excitement around this game is about. I really liked Origami King, and it seems like most people didn't, and if this is even better, I'm so on board.

@Vivianeat great to hear! I'll have to find some time to try it out later today.

Re: Ex Chibi-Robo Devs Announce Spiritual Successor 'koROBO'
@Broosh same. A port would be so fun!

Re: Surprise! New Splatoon 3 amiibo Are On The Way
Gold and Silver, and White and Black. I like both a lot, and Callie and Marie are my favorite, but the Pearl and Marina ones look a bit more creative.
Re: Ex Chibi-Robo Devs Announce Spiritual Successor 'koROBO'
Awesome! But I still hope we get an actual new Chibi Robo one of these days.
Re: 'Emio' Includes A Lot Of Horrific Mature Themes, According To Its Rating
I just came back from camp to see this, and like… what?? Nintendo horror??? Yes please.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (6th July)
I think I’m on the second to last battle isn’t TTYD, but I might be too busy to finish it this week, so maybe next weekend.

Re: Nintendo President Says Longer Game Development Cycles Are "Unavoidable"
I think the best way to combat it is to make more games in between the big ones. I guess it might not be that easy, though.
Re: Random: Japan's 'KidZania' Attractions Let Kids Live Out Their Nintendo Game Dev Dreams
I loved Kidzania!! Too bad I didn’t grow up in Japan with this

Re: Gallery: The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Is A Glorious Mix Of Old And New
I guess the triangles trailing behind Tri are Zelda’s capacity to create echos. Each object seems to have a required amount to create

Was scanning not in 2 and 3?
Re: Random: Welp, Now Nintendo's Going After Sheet Music
@anoyonmus I'm sure this doesn't help much, but you can find some Nintendo sheet music from Yamaha. Kind of difficult to find, though
Re: Random: Welp, Now Nintendo's Going After Sheet Music
I thought the article was saying they would start making more sheet music. It really is a missed opportunity.
Re: A Brand New Mainline Shovel Knight Game Is Now In Development
@BongoBongo nice😂 I have it on my 3ds, but the sleep mode doesn’t work. I just need to sit myself down and do it

@wingweaver84 scratch that. I just realized KD was on sale for the same price and caved. Yippee! XD

@wingweaver84 physical is definitely ideal, but I’ll take a sale😂 Maybe I’ll get KD physical
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Five More Classics
@GameOtaku ahhh, okay. Sounds interesting! I’ll have to check it out
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Five More Classics
@Tempestryke no, I just assumed these were the same as the NES games, but it seems like they are completely separate games

I need to see the towns. NOW.
Jokes aside, if the world and farming and characters are good, I'll love it. Open-world Sos, here we come!
Re: Nintendo LEGO: All Super Mario, Animal Crossing And The Legend Of Zelda Sets
Give me a Mitzi or Fuchsia Animal Crossing set or a Xenoblade set--never happening :' ]--and I will gladly buy it.
Re: Poll: So, What Are Your First Impressions Of LEGO's Zelda 'Great Deku Tree' Set?
I would pay for a $299.99 for a LEGO Zelda themed switch before I would pay for this, and I don't want a LEGO Zelda themed switch.
LEGOs are great, and Zelda LEGOs are child me's dream come true, but this is ridiculous.

Super Mario RPG was a huge disappointment for me, and I was worried that this would be a similar situation. Thankfully, I'm really enjoying it so far, though I don't see how this is so different than Origami King.
