Re: Poll: So, Animal Crossing: New Leaf Or New Horizons - Which Do You Like Best?

New Leaf was one of the first games I bought with my own money, and therefore one of the first games that got me into gaming. I put about 400 hours into it and I still love it, but New Horizons just feels like a better, more modern New Leaf. Both are glorious games, but New Horizons is more fun and free. With that said though, I hope the next Animal Crossing shakes things up a bit. I almost feel like there was too much customization in ACNH.

150 hours into Xenoblade 3, Ch 6, and I think I’m about to get the “last” class in terms of what’s listed in the menu. I have a feeling there will be more though. Still loving it, more than ever really, but I’m scared I won’t be done 100-percenting it before Scarlet and Violet come out. Not to mention the inevitable overwhelming flood of games at Christmas. I have to remind myself that I do it for fun, it’s not a chore. I also just bought Xenoblade 2, and I’ll start it after Pokémon. Can’t wait! I’m absolutely obsessed with Xenoblade now.😆 I’ve been so busy with Xenoblade that I’ve been ignoring Rune Factory 4, but I might play some.

I just bought it! I’m 140 hours into Xenoblade 3, and I still have 2 chapters to go, and then I want to play Future Connected and Pokémon Scarlet before starting 2, so it might be a while. I was generally uninterested in 2 before I started 3, but now I can’t get enough.😆

Re: Talking Point: Which Scary Video Game Moments Gave You Nightmares As A Kid?

I was legit too sacred to play most games until I was around 12, 13, but I remember having a nightmare about the villain organization in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. Other than that, there were several moments in Ocarina of Time and Majora’s mask that stuck in my mind; more from Majora’s Mask than OoT. Also, I was in a mall when I was little and was watching a Last of Us add in an electronic store. Stuck with me for several years.😂 Almost forgot, but I had a nightmare about the Boo houses in New Super Mario Bros Wii, and I completely avoided them afterwards.

MORE Xenoblade 3. I am obsessed with this game, and the only reason I would want it to stop is so I can play Xenoblade 2 and the new Pokémon games. There are of course other games I want, but I have to manage my priorities.😅 130 hours in and I haven’t started on Chapter 6 story, but I’m trying to find the colonies in Cadensia and catch up on some of the Chapter 5 quests and general exploration of the region. Animal Crossing is the only other game I’ve played for longer than this. I play Rune Factory 4 Special in between, and I’m really liking that.

I’m 90 hours into Xenoblade 3. I don’t know if this week has felt really long, or it’s just been a while since I updated my progress on here. I’m not burning out at all, which is really weird because I usually start wanting to be done with a game by 50/60 hours. I’m in Chapter 5, which I have heard is going to be really good, and so far it is. I was getting a bit tired in the last area of Chapter 4, but when I went to the new region, it just completely blew me out of the water. I love this game/series so much, and I can’t wait to keep experiencing everything there is to see in it. Just hope I’m done before Scarlet/Violet come out.😬🤞
