Re: Feature: Best Switch Demos - Try Before You Buy On Switch eShop

@San_D Me too on Hollow Knight. My last attempt at a metroidvania and unfortunately I found it dull. Glad I'm not the only one!
@SoManyHaveDied I tried the Invisigun demo on a whim and absolutely loved it. Good example of demos working to get you to try games you'd otherwise not go for. Bought the full version (and joined the Discord) - it's so underrated, and full of content.

Re: No, Seriously, The Wii And Wii U Are Getting Physical Versions Of Shakedown: Hawaii This Year

I booted up my old Wii U recently. I say "booted up", actually more like "TRIED" to boot up. Man what a terrible console. Pro controller was out of charge, and it uses a different USB type to the massive, clunky tablet controller. HUGE delays when switching between menus. Hooking up the bloody sensor bar to go with the Wii Mote, the Nunchuck add on...all so clunky after using the Switch. I mean, I loved the console when it came out but in hindsight...what a misfire.

Re: Video: Get Hyped For Burnout Paradise Remastered On Switch With This New Trailer

@hadrian This was on Wii U? Perhaps you mean NFS Most Wanted, which was pretty similar. As for Burnout Paradise, wish this wasn't open world. I agree with @eRaz0r - Burnout 2 was the best one I've played. Self-contained racing and a proper Crash mode. Open world leads to too much aimless driving around, which is fun for a while but I want the focus and accessibility of selectable tracks.

@FullMetalJumper Paradise looks near-identical to a game I had on Wii U, Need For Speed Most Wanted. While I enjoyed that game the open world format makes it a bit aimless - I just want to jump into a race. Mario Kart aside my favourite racer on Switch has been Horizon Chase Turbo. Super Pixel Racers has definitely piqued my interest though. I love how many different modes it has. Would love a demo.

"Please advise what these are"

@FullMetalJumper he literally mentioned that in the review. Mantis Burn and Gotcha Racing was the other one. I've got Mantis Burn but I found it a bit dull. I'm going to save my moolah for Burnout Paradise, even though I'd rather not pay big cash for a friggin open world racer. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Burnout.

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo DS Games

For some reason I expected to see bloody Ocarina of Time at #1, before realising it wasn't released on DS. Something new then! And actually no Zelda on there. Which is good because my only memory of DS Zelda was repeating that damned dungeon over and over again. And Star Fox Command was one of the angriest, most immediate marches to trade in a game that I can remember. Utter rubbish. Anyway, great list, and some good memories on here. For me Meteos was an underrated gem (forgive the pun).
