Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. (Wii U eShop / NES)

Milton_Burle

Super Mario Bros has appeared on:

  • NES (original version)
  • SNES (Super Mario All Stars)
  • Gameboy Color ("Deluxe" version)
  • GBA (Classic NES Series)
  • Wii (Virtual Console)
  • Wii (as part of Super Mario All Stars Limited Edition)
  • 3DS (Virtual Console)
  • Wii U (Virtual Console)

Have I missed any? How many times will this game be re-packaged/release?

Re: PES 2014 Will Not Be Dispensed On Wii U

Milton_Burle

NOT FAIR! No-one bought PES 2013 because it was IDENTICAL to PES 2012 and 2010. The Wii U is perfect for PES, I want bigger new Master League with tactics on the controller screen. We don't get this but you can be sure there will be plenty of sh*tty "Petz" games and useless movie tie ins coming. SUCKS.

Re: Review: Zen Pinball 2 (Wii U eShop)

I hit the same problem as many others - bought a table without the demo, got confused, had to Google it. Still, I've been playing "Epic Quest" all afternoon and it's great. My first foray into Zen Pinball. I'll try some of the Marvel tables next.

Re: Wii U Games Struggling At Retail In The UK

Everyone says price is the problem and I agree to an extent, but that doesn't seem to put people in the UK off shelling out for yet another variant of a glowing Apple tablet. Most people I talk to haven't heard of a Wii U or don't understand what it is. I think word of mouth is a big thing for Nintendo consoles. With the Wii I'd show people Wii Sports and they'd instantly want one. Wii U is a more subtle, slow-burning experience, harder to sell. But I hope sales pick up.

Re: Developer Interview: Broken Rules on the First Days of the Wii U eShop

I downloaded this today and it's well worth the reduced price. I'll be revisiting the single-player mode to try and get 3 stars for each course. I'd have loved some marathon single-player levels, not just lap-based ones. But what with this and the excellent "And Yet It Moves", Broken Rules are fast becoming my favourite indie developer.
