@Peach64 "That's like saying movies won't move forward creatively unless we change the way we control our DVD players." It's not though, is it? Movies are passive, the DVD remote is irrelevant to the experience. You wouldn't be making such a laboured analogy if Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft/whoever had just sold you a holodeck.
@NintendoCat14: Excellent, only serves to further my point! Totally agree with @Bakajin: I know that it's a great game that everyone should play, but surely they've squeezed every penny out of it by now?
NOT FAIR! No-one bought PES 2013 because it was IDENTICAL to PES 2012 and 2010. The Wii U is perfect for PES, I want bigger new Master League with tactics on the controller screen. We don't get this but you can be sure there will be plenty of sh*tty "Petz" games and useless movie tie ins coming. SUCKS.
I wanted this, but I have a Wii U now. This game was announced ages ago - why did it take so long? Would have been ideal in that lull before the Wii U release. I blame the timing, nothing else.
I'm loving this. Wasn't going to buy the game but thought I'd try since it was a free demo. And it's great fun, especially the vs mode. Can't decide now whether to buy the game retail (it's £22 on Amazon) or pay to download other bits and bobs.
I hit the same problem as many others - bought a table without the demo, got confused, had to Google it. Still, I've been playing "Epic Quest" all afternoon and it's great. My first foray into Zen Pinball. I'll try some of the Marvel tables next.
I want this. The one disappointing thing about Wii was its lack of decent (non-Kart) driving games. And I'm glad Criterion are involved. The Burnout series for me reached a peak at Burnout 2 but the later games were one of only things to (almost) tempt me to a non-Nintendo console. I'd love to see a new Burnout as well.
Everyone says price is the problem and I agree to an extent, but that doesn't seem to put people in the UK off shelling out for yet another variant of a glowing Apple tablet. Most people I talk to haven't heard of a Wii U or don't understand what it is. I think word of mouth is a big thing for Nintendo consoles. With the Wii I'd show people Wii Sports and they'd instantly want one. Wii U is a more subtle, slow-burning experience, harder to sell. But I hope sales pick up.
I downloaded this today and it's well worth the reduced price. I'll be revisiting the single-player mode to try and get 3 stars for each course. I'd have loved some marathon single-player levels, not just lap-based ones. But what with this and the excellent "And Yet It Moves", Broken Rules are fast becoming my favourite indie developer.
I just read the Sun article...what a load of old twaddle. I'll be buying a Wii U for the same reason as I bought the last Nintendo console: the next Mario Kart.

Dammit now I want this as well. Already buying Mario Golf, Ace Attorney/Layton, Pocket Football Club, Mario Kart on Wii U...the dry season is over.

Re: Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Wii U)
@DarkCoolEdge Totally agree. I tried the demo and, although it's nicely done, plays exactly the same as Lego City.
Re: Tappingo Gameplay Footage and Challenging Puzzles Emerge
Looks intruiging. I'm a big Picross fan so will look forward to trying this.
Re: Video: This "10 New Things" Super Mario 3D World Trailer Will Push Your Buttons

Still, can't wait for this.
Re: Review: Wii Fit U (Wii U)
Really enjoying it, especially luge and the trampoline. Squash is a massive disappointment though, the timing's all wrong.
Re: Nintendo Unveils New Trailer and Details For The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Was that a Kirby (inhaling) sound effect I noticed?

Great Lebowski quote (at the start of the review). Shomer shabbos!
Re: A.N.N.E Developer Confirms Wii U Version, Regardless of Kickstarter Stretch Goal

"Nothing for me" comments: what's the point? There's even an entry on the voting thing so you don't have to say it.
Re: Rayman Legends No Longer a Wii U Exclusive, Delayed to September
This is B.S. The Wi U game is ready but we have to wait while the other two ports are developed. BOYCOTT.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Hope they put in the two "unfinished" dungeons that were cut for final release. That'd convince me to re-purchase.
