Nope, won't be trying it as I also won't be buying a Switch 2. Nintendo took what good will I had towards them and threw it out the window with their business decisions surrounding the Switch 2

I absolutely agree with this statement as well as will add the price point deviates from Nintendo of the past. I get we're "in a new world" and adjusting for inflation, blah, blah, blah. It doesn't change the fact that Nintendo hareware has traditionally been less expensive than their competitors by a fair margin. Sitting at a price point more expensive than two of their rivals current gen hardware is not like Nintendo. It's not all doom and gloom though. I do like the idea of a more powerful "super switch". I just won't be buying one. Just my .02.

At that price point I'm gonna sit this one out. I'm happy with the switch and my backlog of retro games that would take several lifetimes to complete. Heck, I'm playing Gran Turismo 4 right now with a wheel and a CRT and having the time of my life!

Seems like I'm in the minority here but I welcome a larger case. The cases for the Switch are way too small IMHO. Hard to see and hard to fumble with given the size of my hands/fingers. I'm an average sized man but feel like Shaquille O'Neil handling a Dixie cup every time I open/close a Switch case. The games are even worse but that's not the subject..... And I'm no Switch hater by any stretch of the imagination. I game essentially exclusively on it with the exception of my retro consoles.

I'd buy it only if it were physical. Digital - count me and my $$$ out tyvm.

Just release these on physical and no micro-transactions. You want your glory days back Sega? I know I sure want them back for you. Then go back to how things used to be done and buck the trend set by the industry of digital purchases (aka glorifed rentals) and games released with missing content that you later "have the opportunity to buy". If you can't tell, I'm entirely over the modern gaming industries garbage and will have absolutely no sympathy when it crashes due to the industries continual anti consumer practices.

Truthfully, I WAS a buyer if and only if there was a true physical release. Count me, and my $, out.

@ear_wig thank you for this honestly amazing comment. While I'm all for cleaning things up, let's realize that there is really a very small moral high ground in the gaming industry. But if you want it cleaned up, then clean it up. You don't get to cherry pick your pet peves.

Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed in Nintendo on this one. Not that this isn't a fair deal it's just that this looks like a repackage to reduce stock of non-OLED units. Hopefully that means something else is on the way but I won't hold my breath. Not only that but I'm happy with my Switch as it is anyway.

Physical only for me on this just in case they decide to cancel it post release. If you think I'm kidding, I'm not. Digital used to be the only way I'd go. After losing my entire Xbox library because MS decided to indefinitely lock my account for reasons that are completely unbeknownst to me, I trust no company and digital "purchases".

It's absolutely rediculous that it was delayed due to the war in Ukraine. It's a work of fiction. People really need to get over themselves and stop being offended by every single thing.

@RobotReptile back in the day it was, hands down, the best home port prior to Saturn and PS1 releases. Samurai Shodown was also amazing on the 3DO.

MK64 right here. Nothing better than playing 4 player battle with 3 of your friends shoulder to shoulder. The courses were top tier. I'm still waiting for the N64 version of Wario's Stadium course to be added to MK8.

@SaturnHero I fear this will be exactly what you describe. An awesome remake and idea that is massively limited in implementation and therefore essentially unplayable.

Gah! This is going to be a wait and see for me unfortunately. I sooo want this to work and turn out well but I have serious reservations about the responsiveness of the gyro controls. The shooters for Switch that use the same controls are really not up to snuff when compared to a traditional light gun.

Why are some people so insecure? If your wife wants to cheat there's two possibilities.
1. It has nothing to do with you and it's just how she is and always will be.
2. It has everything to do with you because of how you treat her.
So control the one you can (yourself) and be happy and don't push your wife even further away. If she cheats and it's a deal breaker (because it's not one for everyone - we see it every day), then get a divorce and move on. People just have to be such children about this stuff, I swear.

I just want to put a controller in my hand and own the game I play. Is that really too much to ask anymore?
