@BulbasaurusRex by all accounts 2 and a half billion cricket supporters to half a billion baseball supporters. I'll take your word cricket hasn't been to the Olympics but it does have a World Cup open to all cricket federations.(in fact they actually have 2 one for test cricket and one for one day internationals)Cricket is popular in India, Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indes, Zimbabwe and South Africa. So essentially Asia, Africa and parts of Europe.
Cricket is currently listed as the 4th most popular sport in the world by participation.
@Wexter don't know if it's wid espread but having two teenage kids I have heard numerous stories of friends consoles breaking or being sold and re bought and GTA 5 being bought again, often digitally. I have asked why they haven't just transferred their old account and recovered their games? Apparently for some folk it's just easier to drop another 60 quid on a game.
Get used to seeing GTA 5 in the sales chart when it launches (again) on current gen consoles later this year. I doubt many countries top 10 would be much better than what's on offer here. You'd just be swapping generic British sports game for generic (insert your country here) sports game. Call of duty will be there as well. Mario Kart 8 is the only one I have on this list.
@yusuf2002 it's fine fella. I was just messing. GameSpot used to have the GameSpot 7 which meant it was more often than not utter rubbish. But they never scored below a 6.
@Xylnox I've not heard of the other game but let's just talk about No Man's Sky and Hello Games in particular. They care? Were they caring when they were flat out lying through exaggeration about what No Man's Sky was going to be right up till launch? No they certainly weren't. Yes they've fixed the game and its apparently awesome now. Shame it wasn't awesome when it released or shame they had stickers covering the bit on the back of the box saying multiplayer. Companies care about money first. Consumers come a distant second.
Also for the folk banging the PES drum let's not kid ourselves there either. Konami are scum.
@GannonBanned Brie Larsson's initial problem is Brie Larsson. She comes away with things like a character in The Office. She not wrong a lot of the time she just communicates things very poorly. I'm sure we've all had that moment where we've had that idea that we thought was superb or joke we thought was hilarious only for it to die in the room. We build on those experiences and next time we approach the situation with more trepidation and learn from previous mistakes. Brie however doesn't seem to get it and continues to barrel into off the cuff statements that are ripe to be ripped apart by the angry lads who don't like women talking or the unscrupulous who care more for clicks than facts.
As good as update reviews would be helpful there would only be a small amount of people who would look at the review. The sheer amount of games released means once a game is released its out in the wild a very small amount of games actually get reviewed. Its also why AAA companies add microtransactions and other BS weeks after release as the review is done. Again very few folk ever amend their reviews to cover those changes.
@Daniel36 im fairly sure you don't need NSO for any of those games buddy. Fortnite and Asphalt Legends for sure, not sure about Spellbreak. The free to play games don't need the membership on the Switch.
This Japanese are big into empty boxes on shelves. I'm assuming there's possibly been some demand for this via social media. Otherwise I think its a tat gamble.
@JR150 screenshot has a bit of cleavage. There's folk pre-ordering now.
Its essentially a management game and if its handled right could be interesting. But let's be honest the games Industry more often than not has no concept of subtlety so this will be both barrels of the morality shotgun to the face. Im always open to being proven wrong, so prove me wrong Wales Interactive
@Krambo42 its probably a licensing issue with however put out the original physical release. You'd also get folk going on about the fact that 2 had been released previously and thus it wasn't super rare.
@HappyMaskedGuy I think it's always a case of where info is coming from. Kubrick was described as "tyrannical" on set not just to Duvall. Apparently she had to do 127 takes to get the baseball bat scene the way he wanted it. She ended up dehydrated and her hands were raw from swinging the bat.
@ROBLOGNICK they couldn't get Arnie probably due to a lack of Arnie money. They got Peter Weller cause there was plenty of Peter Weller money available.
@HobbitGamer Blur will never happen fella. Though that breaks my heart. Bizarre Creations got shut down. Also the licences for the cars and music have expired. Loved that game. There were screenshots came out quite a few years ago for Blur 2 which they were developing before they closed. Looked very very nice.
@Mr_Horizon loved Super Skidmarks on the Amiga. When my mate got his megadrive I bought the megadrive version for him. One day I turned up to find he had gotten so irate with it he had put the mega drive with Skidmarks still inserted in the oven.
Played it on the game pass on xbox. Fully intended to buy it on switch as a physical release. But like others have said will just pass now. Really good game for those that havent played it.
Got it on release day on switch. Got 3 boss cells and well over a hundred hours in. Also put another 70 hours in on xbox when it was on game pass. So I've got money waiting for more content.
I gave up at the rubber duck boss. The controls made no sense. I genuinely despise water based levels in games. Playing Dragon Quest XI now. Much happier.
Let's be honest everybody giving the UK grief for this list. The US list would swap fifa for madden and/or NBA 2k. Very few, if any countries would have any meaningful games on their lists.
I think as far as under rated goes its possible what they actually meant was "never sold well"
Played quite a few. Couple I'm not interested in. But Creature in the Well I really didnt like. Kept hearing pinball comparisons, but it's more Breakout/Arkanoid. Never found the controls intuitive.

@BulbasaurusRex yeah cricket is more popular than baseball too.

Hades, Xenoblade Chronicles and Trials of Mana for me.
Honourable mention Ys Origin and Age of Calamity.

Re: Review: Immortals Fenyx Rising - An Off-Brand Breath Of The Wild That's Still Worth A Look
@Guitario that was my point. Doesn't matter what the words say people see the numbers and most go 7/10! Whilst some think that's average, apparently.
Re: Review: Immortals Fenyx Rising - An Off-Brand Breath Of The Wild That's Still Worth A Look
@yusuf2002 average would be 5/10.
Re: Review: Immortals Fenyx Rising - An Off-Brand Breath Of The Wild That's Still Worth A Look
@Shadowthrone "This is a terrible review and does the game a huge disservice."
7/10 is all most folk will see. If folk were at all bothered with originality they certainly wouldn't be buying ubisoft games.
