@MrBlacky I played the start of the game with my headphones then switched to my surround sound. You'll not go wrong.

Turns out I dropped 108 hours on this on Xbox couple years ago. Had a blast playing it and never spent a penny.

After throwing in 80+ hours on release I dipped back in after the update. Kinda feels like a new game. Loving it again.

@Dilated let's look at it objectively Sega killed the Dreamcast. It was poor decisions on previous consoles that led to poor sales in Japan. If the Japanese weren't going to buy it then you will struggle. As for the ps2? The PSOne had already laid the foundation for the success of the PS2. I personally never liked the PS2 I played a lot of bad games on there(my poor choices) but I loved the Dreamcast Crazy Taxi and Sega Bass Fishing with the fishing controller was a great way to waste a weekend.

Loved it on the 360. Maxed it out. Picked up the re-release on Xbox one made it through the campaign once was bored as hell. So I'll pass. Also expect gearbox to be scumbags and charge full price.

I'll skip it full price. Night get 4 when it's reduced in price. Got it on ps2, GameCube and 360. Was due a run through. But not at that price.

Still to pick up Heist. Not really into card games but I liked the Dig games enough I'll give this a go after Heist.

7 million isn't and you'd easily get a job at Activision and EA with that attitude. Also we can get to the end of the year and a massive chunk of sales will still be taken up with games I won't have played (sports and shooters) but I still don't be looking down on the folks that will be playing them unlike some.

Gaming trends aren't going anywhere at the minute. Yes the switch is successful. So.of course the first party titles on there are successful too. But call of duty and Battlefield 5 sold 7 million plus units despite being shadows of themselves. Three biggest retail games released so far this year? Far Cry, Metro and Anthem. Again all 3 have issues But what's breaking up that monopoly? Apex Legends a free to play battle Royale game in a genre that everybody was said and nothing fresh could be done to make battle Royale interesting to the masses.

The only thing worse than people looking down on gaming from the outside is the clowns who look down on it from the inside.

They never promised it in November for Switch. A lot of outlets reported the alpha patch was being tested in November on wait where was it? Oh yeah the PC. They then assumed it would quickly roll out on consoles. It never. But again you have no interest in the game so it's no surprise you got it wrong.

@Retupmocnin the game is historically a pc game. It's where the game was developed and where the core audience was. So they patched it over there. Much like how Warframe is patched and gets dlc ahead of the consoles.

So to answer your question again. It was patched on pc in November. It's now being patched on the Switch. I also wonder why if you have no interest in the game you are bothering to post about it? But I don't have to wonder too hard.

@mazzel Hey mate yes there are timed doors to be opened. But those are for when you've mastered the game and can deal with everything without being proper tooled up. Even now at 90+ hours I still uncover the whole map before moving on. The game is set for people to play their own style I've got a mate who has solely sped run the game from day 1. Frustrates the hell out of me watching that.

@KingBowser86 yeah mate I love Star fox on the Switch. Have heard good things about that Starlink game might get it on the Xbox...

Started Castle of Heart and Gunman Clive through the week so will continue to batter through them.

@RemyLeBeau you start badly it carries on. The launch was well and truly botched. Glad the guy responsible stayed about to right his wrongs... oh that's right he buggered off to a mobile games company.

But it's swings and roundabouts. PS3 launch was marred by arrogance and expensive hardware and they struggled to catch the 360 which was seen as main contender and both Microsoft and Sony just tried to pretend the Wii wasn't happening at the same time.

You then get the WiiU wedged between the Wii and the Switch and you see brand loyalty wasn't what it used to be(Which is a good thing in my opinion) as consumers will hold off or drop a console to get what is the more successful console for whatever features suite them best.

@Sandro89 It's not really obvious though. Plenty of folk have remastered or re-released versions of games on Xbox and PS4. I understand folk not double dipping. But I've picked up games on the other 2 consoles I've bought before.

I've had Skyrim 3 times. Got it as a free download with a 360 I bought. Bought it on the Xbox one for my son's Xmas one year and then finally actually bought it for myself on the Switch.

Diablo 3? Twice on 360, Twice on PS3(I consider Reaper of Souls just to be D3) Xbox One, PS4 and again on Switch. Though I've only done about 5 hours on Switch at this point.

I'd love to see Burnout Paradise or Red Faction Guerilla find their way onto the Switch.

Assassins Creed 3 was where I lost my love for the series. Played Black Flag but I was done by then.

Mate recommended Vostok. Tried the demo for about 5 minutes bought it. Delightful waste of time. Waiting to be in a better mood to stick Gris on. Had builders in all week and they haven't half pissed me off. Shoot MORE ASTEROIDS!!!!!

Picked up Starlink(not that I was short of stuff to play) not a deep or taxing game I get to fly about in the Ar-Wing shooting everything in site. Currently getting my house ready to be re-wired on Monday so it was nice to sit down tonight turn that on and have some mindless fun.

Will pick up Mario-U in the next couple weeks. But might wait till I've finished Tropical Freeze and probably Starlink...

@TheAwesomeBowser I don't believe in NSO at all. It's essentially Nintendo following a trend rather as setting one. However Bethesda is doing the same following trends and making a complete and utter mess of it. Which of the 2 is more damaging to the games industry? I'd say Fallout 76. Let's not forget PSN was free then they got hacked then they had the audacity to ask for money for their service. Also Xbox live is still the same price as it was on release. PSN has been free went to 39.99 now it's 49.99. All 3 companies are taking money for nothing. Nintendo thought because they were asking half for what everybody else was asking for then that would be fine. Its not.

@TheAwesomeBowser Bethesda will drop support for 76 in the next 18 months tops.

@TheAwesomeBowser at a fraction of the price and with a better chance of improving I'd take NSO over Fallout 76.

Want to pick Gris up but need to clear some of the back log. Dropped a lot of cash over Xmas on games. Now to find time to play them so I can buy some more.

Playing Owlboy loving it. Picking up Starlink on Monday as Kid_Keo says down to 20 quid in the UK, everywhere.

Got Yokus Island and Owlboy to start. But seriously considering dropping the digital dollars for Monster Boy as well.

The thing I will say is I agree with everyone who has issue with the statement. It's one I figure will sell anyway as most stuff on switch does these days. One thought that has popped in my head is that due to the amount of folk who asked why this game wasn't NMH3 when it was announced is another factor that fuelled Suda 51's ridiculous statement.

@NoxAeturnus if it's good it will sell well? Plenty of good games haven't sold well. Plenty of sells excessively well.

Will give these games a look over the weekend see if anything takes my fancy.

Stuck it on to see how it looked and played compared to Xbox, and it's sweet. Played first mission turned it back off. I'll be back but not quite ready to sink 100s of hours again. Looking forward to migrating my account over bring all my frames over.

Also remember Sabotuer being amazing as you could chose when to drop into the level. That was cool as a kid.
