@SwitchplayerJohn I sent them a handwritten letter moaning about this being two years pocket money and they sent me a controller and carry case.

Although £250 to 14 year old me was a lot, I was looking forward to it so much I wasn't too bothered about it. Those are good memories!

I was grateful for the Hero's Path add-on, as that made tracking where you had been possible.
Frustrating that it was only capable of logging a certain amount before deleting your initial path though ... I wanted to completely cover the whole map in lines and got close!

Used more traditionally by older people, or humourously than by the 'youth'. Example 'Cor look at the size of that!'

It also helps if you bulge your eyes and push out your lips for emphasis!

Is it known how many of these exist? Surely quite easy (if you have access to high spec commercial printing presses, etc) to reproduce now, as they weren't really designed with any anti- counterfeit measures.

@Broforce I couldn't understand why you could only race Starfruit when there's so many others to choose from - Papaya, Pineapple ... Mangoes even.

There is a very limited number of very wealthy people who happen to want Pokémon cards, so this isn't sustainable or scaleable ... Assuming that these transactions are driven by any financial / behavioural logic whatsoever.

@Rypopo The yellow is a sign of the degredation of the ABS platic caused by UV and heat (not Bromine as commonly thought) Don't just use Hydrogen Peroxide, as this will further weaken the plastic - and the effect doesn't last!

Long story short - there's no good way ... So just embrace your yellow SNES!
