The UK Is Finally Getting An Online Pokémon Center Store Of Its Own

Deck the halls with boughs of Bellsprout, because the UK Pokémon Center website is finally here.

"Congratulations on being one of the first to discover this site—our recent expansion of the Pokémon Center!" reads the website, which is currently in its Beta launch. "We’re excited to welcome you with the best possible experience, but this site is still in its early stages, so you may see a few hiccups...be sure to check back and subscribe to our email newsletter for updates – we’ll be working hard to add new product lines continually."

There are a few things on sale that have sold out elsewhere, like the excellent Snom knitted jumper, but other items like the Ditto beanbag are not yet available on the UK site. The new Pokémon Center site will charge a flat shipping fee of £5 per order to the UK.

Of course, this is just an online Pokémon Center; there was a pop-up Pokémon Center in London, which had gigantic queues and a fair few teething problems — and hasn't come back since its run ended in November 2019.

Now go, UK Pokéfans, and spend a ludicrous amount of money on things like this, which the author of this article can vouch for in terms of softness and snuggability... and also the ludicrous amount of money bit.
