Paid $60 for the Kickstarter Switch physical version, sold the Steam code for $30.

So I paid $30 for the game basically, which now seems like a good price since it doesn't seem to have had a lot of work put into it.

Hopefully by the time I get mine in the mail in a couple months there will have been a patch or two that improves things

It also helps that this game is a "life simulation", when real life sucks so much right now. It gives people something to do each day.

Then again, most hardcore Animal Crossing fans live a simulated life even during the best of times, so who really knows what's going on with the sales.

I agree with you, I hated the artwork from day one.

But I've seen video that there is an option to pixelate all the backgrounds and bad guys, plus you can play as the original pixelized characters, and it looks MUCH more appealing that way.

I will still wait for a sale though when it's around half price.

Those retail games are freight shipments that get sent to a distribution centre, then dispersed from there. The Kickstarter ones would be individually packaged, labelled and shipped via regular mail to each person, which numbers in the thousands all over the world, so it's not as simple.

Will see if I can sell my Steam code for $10 or something, then use that money to buy another month of premium on PornHub now that my free trial ran out.

Point being, nearly all third party releases on the Switch which come to the system several years after the rest, are significantly more expensive than the same game on other systems.

And Resident Evil Remake is $39 on the Canadian eshop, and it's like $8 on PSN every other month 😂 No package deal bro

Off the top of my head, Alien Isolation, Doom, all of the Resident Evil Games, and the vast majority of third party multiplatform games released on Switch (that have come several years after they were released on other consoles) have ALL been more expensive then they are on other consoles 🤡

Doom was released on the Switch for like $50-60 when it could be purchased on PSN, Steam, etc for $8-10.

Don't forget the TALENT was also important.

Stone Cold, DX, Rock, nWo, etc are what pulled in the viewers, and there is nobody working for either company with that kind of mainstream appeal.

As much as I loved wrestling back in the 90's, that ain't ever coming back, and the "competition" from All Petite Wrestling isn't enough to get WWE to improve their product. The glory days are long gone.

I watched Jay and Bob Reboot on Amazon and it was one of the worst "comedies" I've ever seen! It was so bad, I heard Kevin Smith did another movie called "Yoga Hosers" which was possibly worse, so I watched that too, and couldn't believe that anyone at any time believed this man had talent.

Sadly there are not enough penises of colour in this game. And not enough gay ones either!
