Re: Nintendo Download: 29th August (North America)

@RupeeClock A download for the last two games in the collection is required. The boxart on Nintendo UKs site just says "Internet Download Required" (https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch/Spyro-Reignited-Trilogy-1576500.html), but the German Amazon has the full info:

"Erfordert den Download von Inhalten! Spiel 1 auf der Spielekassette. Spiel 2 und 3 muss aus dem Internet heruntergeladen werden!"

Re: Snake Pass Update For Switch Adds Time Trial Mode And Lots More

Most of these improvements are irrelevant to Switch users. We did not have Time Trials until today, so you cannot call anything related to that a fix from our perspective, and achievements are not a part of the game on Switch, so you can remove those as well.

@Dazza Now tell me if you see lots more after that

Re: Three Months After Launch, People Are Still Queuing For Nintendo Switch Consoles In Japan

KJ85

@Mijzelffan I doubt that once Bergsala (the distributor in the Nordics) has bought units from Nintendo, they will be relocated to other countries, but I would wish the interest was more significant here in Denmark.

Although it is easy to get your hands on a console here, I doubt that you would be happy about the price. Normal prices on Switch range from DKK2790 - DKK3000, which corresponds to approximately €375 - €400. I guess that is the downside of not having Nintendo doing the buisness directly with retailers.

I was lucky enough to get my switch at launch for just DKK2000 (~ €265), but I got the only console my local toys store had received, and it was not an offer that applied to every store in the country.

Re: Review: The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Wii U)

Just a warning to everyone. At the moment the game is practically not playable, because of the save glitch. It is something that everyone seems to encounter after playing through to a specific point in the story. After that the autosave stops functioning and you are not able to save manually.

I've contacted Nordic Games about it and have yet to hear back from them. Because of that, I have not yet delivered my own review. I would have to give it a 1/5, due to not being able to complete the game in the current state, and I was hoping they would be able to fix it quickly, so I could give the game the score it really deserves. It is a really great point and click adventure with lots of references to pop culture, and that is how I would love to be able to grade it..

Re: Review: Kirby: Planet Robobot (3DS)

@VanillaLake I've done the review of this game for a Danish site, and I can tell you that I completed the main game with all Code Cubes in less than 10 hours. Collecting all stickers and playing all the extra game modes add to that time though, and getting a 98 % completion (have not finished The True Arena) has taken me a little more than 20 hours..

Re: Feature: A Summary of Nintendo's Key Announcements on NX, E3 and Mobile

KJ85

@VanillaLake Nowhere does it say that Nintendo won't show other games at E3. It's just that Zelda will be the only playable title at the show floor, and those two are very different.

I expect the Treehouse team to show a bunch of other games, and since I won't be at E3, I really don't care if one game alone is playable, as long as they show us other things in their presentations.

Re: Feature: A Summary of Nintendo's Key Announcements on NX, E3 and Mobile

Have anyone considered that Nintendo can still have surprises for us? Last year they brought a little bit of E3 directly to the consumers via the Nindies@HOME campaign. Imagine if they did a similar thing with their own titles. Trying out upcoming Nintendo games from the comfort of your own home with no time restrictions, that would certainly make a lot of people happy, and I would not be too surprised if it happens.

For the past few years Nintendo has evolved their E3 pressence in their own direction targeting the people at home more and more. Digital Event, Nintendo Treehouse, Nindies@HOME. I'm pretty sure that they have surprises in store for us, and I'm looking forward to the complete reveal of their E3 plans.

Re: NIS America No Longer Publishing Atlus Games In Europe

KJ85

Neither SEGA 3D Classics Collection nor 7th Dragon III Code: VFD have been announced by SEGA for Europe, so they do tend to ignore the European market a little.

SEGA does not even distribute titles themselves in all of Europe, because Koch Media (parent company to Deep Silver) handles it on their behalf in many countries. I know so from doing a review on Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX last year.

Re: Talking Point: My Nintendo's Pros, Cons and Areas for Improvement

KJ85

Surprised that no one has mentioned the lack of support for Windows Phones. Sure, every developer tends to ignore that market, but when you are as big as Nintendo, I think that it is foolish to do so. I myself will never buy an Android or iOS device, and there are probably others like me out there!

Also, why not just tweak the rewards for countries with no access to Miitomo. With only 120 Platinum Coins to earn per week, it takes us nine weeks to get points enough for rewards such as the Picross game..

Re: Review: Pazuru (3DS eShop)

KJ85

Oops, I see how my message could be misinterpreted.. I did not refer to our reviewer being plain better because he was faster, but he was able to complete the game completely with all stars (top rank) in just one and a half hour, so maybe more skillful at the game was what I should have written. That is what holds me back from buying the game personally even though I really like the concept. I am simply afraid it will be over too soon for me..

Re: Review: Pazuru (3DS eShop)

@ThomasBW84 Some countries have this game as a retail game, and maybe that is why their price is different. In Denmark it is approximately 6 Euro for some reason.

By the way, guess our reviewer at N-club.dk was a lot better than yours, because he completed the game with all stars in just one and a half hour making the game rather pricey...
