People not knowing who Joker or lolSans are is not on the same level of Terry Bogard his respective games that helped bring fighters to the forefront of gaming.
You need to reevaluate what you're saying and learn some video game history.
Granted, if you're under 25, I don't expect you to know what came before you and why Terry in Smash is important anyways.
I'm not saying you should know every character to ever grace a videogame, but if you don't know who Terry Bogard is, and you're 25 or older, you need your games card revoked and burned.
Sorry if you're offended, but Terry is an icon for SNK just like Ryu is for Capcom.
How is the author so sure that the Joycon drift will affect Switch Lite????
Now, before you state the obvious, the authors opinion is based on what's going on with Joycons, and equating that with the controls on the Switch Lite, which, for all intents and purposes, are not Joycons.
I feel like the authors logic wasn't well thought out.
It's really lame seeing people complain because of things they didn't get out of the Direct.
Heck, I'm still waiting for Prime Trilogy, but I ain't complaining about it.
Anywhoo, I thought the Direct started started strong and ended even stronger because Nintendo showed games, mostly game play, surprise drops, surprise announcements, and ended the Direct with a cutscene to the sequel of a critically and commercially acclaimed game.
Putting my needs aside, that Direct was pretty good overall, and along with Square, they saved what was quite possibly one of the worst E3 conferences in a while.
The Smash community is some of the most ungrateful people on the planet!
They get Ridley and King K. Rool, and they're complaining about Incineroar and Piranha Plant, Spirits over trophies, characters that should be playable over being assists knowing that they'll never be satisfied on that end, and constant whining over Waluigl, even hating on Sakurai now.
I'm more than satisfied with EVERYTHING that Smash Ultimate will be offering while those clowns will still be complaining about how they didn't get what they wanted.

Re: PlayStation Is Taking Part In A Japanese Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament
Just think about that statement for a second.
Smash Ultimate is so big that tourneys are being held by companies and Nintendo's rival is in it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th November (North America)
Sorry Pokemon Sword and Shield, I'm not passing up on Garfield Kart: Furious Racing........................

Re: Review: Pokémon Sword And Shield - A Solid Start To Gen 8 On Switch, Despite The Hate
Good thing I'm not an obnoxious Pokemon fanboy that I have to complain about everything when things don't meet my lofty expectations.
I'll be getting Pokemon Shield day one!
Re: Gallery: Sonic Movie Trailer Comparison Pics - Check Out Before And After Sonic's Redesign
@MaxlRoseGNR
I can quantify it.
It's a 2000% improvement.
Re: Review: Resident Evil 6 - Not As Nightmarish As You Remember
This game was never a nightmare.
It was always a joke.
Re: It Looks Like Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour Has Added A Switch Date
"Suck on my boomstick"
Duke Nukem 3D was such a great game for the time it came out.
Re: Magical 2D Platformer Enchanted Portals Accused Of Being A Cuphead Clone
It looks like a lesser version of Cuphead.
The people that are saying that it isn't a clone need to get their eyes checked.
Re: Review: Ori And The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition - An Unmissable Experience
Some people like this game but can't play it because "it's too sad"?
Oh please! We've presumably played enough games that convey the same feeling as Ori and the Blind Forrest.
Anywho, this game is a must play for anyone that likes Metroidvania's it looks and sounds amazing and the gameplay is really good.
Re: Review: Devil May Cry 2 - The Series Nadir Isn't Worth Bothering With On Switch
Just as garbage as I remember it 16 years ago.
Ah! The memories...
Re: Ori And The Blind Forest "Animates A Bit Smoother" On Nintendo Switch
Is there anywhere else to interact with Devs other than ResetEra?
That place is a mess.
Re: Happy 130th Birthday, Nintendo!
I just want to thank Nintendo for making me interested in gaming again after a 3-year hiatus(before the Switch).
Happy Birthday!
Re: Feature: 10 Strangest Moments In Captain N: The Game Master
Captain N is 30 years old?
Damn, I feel old.....
Re: Final Fantasy VII And VIII Remastered Are Coming To Switch In One Physical Pack
TBH, I don't like FF7, so this "two games on one cartridge" deal is kinda tarnished.

If you don't know who Terry Bogard is as a gamer, and you're over the age of 25, I have little to no respect for you.
Re: Nintendo Direct Confirmed For Tomorrow, 4th September
It's crazy when an announcement of an announcement of games is just as newsworthy.
I love directs, but I don't know if my wallet does...😥😥😥
Re: SNK's Samurai Shodown Reboot Scores December Switch Release Date In Japan
Did anyone notice that part of the music playing sounded like DMX's Ruff Ryder's Anthem?
Re: Review: Grandia HD Collection - Two Classic Games, Shoddily Remastered
Technical issues aside, the $40 price tag for me simply to play Grandia 2 is a nonstarter.
I played and beaten Grandia 1 back in the day and even back then I felt that game was about 10-15 too long.
I have no desire to pay for game I'm not going to play again.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem: Three Houses - The Zenith Of A Legendary SRPG Series
This will be the first Fire Emblem game I'll fully dive into since I briefly touched one of the SNES titles.
I ready to see what the hype for this series is all about.

Re: Review: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Arcade Brawling Is Back, Baby
Honestly, I liked the X-Men Legends games better.
Re: Japan-Exclusive Iwata Asks Interview Translated Into English After 10 Years
@nintendolie
No doubt, the stress of the industry led to his death.
Re: Monolith Soft Developer Recalls Pitching Earthbound Sequel To Shigesato Itoi
Don't really like it, but it's an interesting piece of Nintendo history nonetheless.

I miss this dude.....

Re: Talking Point: Not Appealing To Gamers First Is A Dangerous Strategy For The Sonic Movie
This movie looks like a dumpster fire that I have to watch.
This movie would be better(meaning worse) if he had a human love interest like Sonic '06
Re: Talking Point: Do We Still Want Achievements On Switch?
I still think Nintendo should implement an achievements that has a star color(Red, Green, Yellow)system.
Re: Soapbox: I Don't 'Get' Smash Bros. And I Just Don't Know Why
You don't like it like literally millions of other people do?
That's not really a problem.
I don't like Souls games and I'm not writing any articles about it either.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy VII - A Timeless RPG Classic That's Beginning To Show Its Age
I like FF8 and FF12.
FF7 is highly overrated to me.
Re: Feature: What Reggie-Fils-Aimé Meant To Nintendo, The Games Industry, And All Of Us
Reggie is black?
The guy definitely doesn't look black, but some other ethnicity.
Re: Sorry North America, You’ll Also Have To Download Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster
Don't care.
I'm only getting The Zodiac Age anyway.
Re: Soulja Boy Says His Next Console Will Feature Fortnite, Epic Games Says "No"
The title alone was hilarious:
"Soulja Boy Says His Next Console Will Feature Fortnite, Epic Games Says "No""
😂😂😂😂
Re: Review: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes - A Stylish Return For The Otaku Hitman
I don't trust that 8(and Spawn Wave Media didn't seem to like this game much), but reviewers hated Killer 7 and that game is on my top ten list.
Re: UK Charts: Yearly Physical Switch Game Sales Increased By 90.1% In 2018
I guess it's better than what they were doing in the UK market, and I'm not even joking, the UK has terrible taste in games for the most part.
I'll never forget when Aliens: Colonial Marines hit #1 in that market🤣🤣🤣
Re: Indie Hit Celeste Sold Over 500,000 Copies In 2018
This was one of the first Switch games I purchased, and I don't regret it (and I beat it too!)
It's a 10/10
If you look at each section of a level as a puzzle, it'll start to click and everything will be in synergy (due to the fantastic music).
Re: Switch Nindies Nominated Across Multiple Categories At The Game Awards
Celeste actually deserves to be mentioned in GOTY talks.
I was pleasantly surprised how good the game was from start to finish.
Re: Soapbox: That Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct; Let's Talk About It
@FNL
If the world wasn't black and white to Smash fans, they wouldn't be complaining much.
That community is becoming cancerous quickly.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Has Exceeded Expectations Following Strong Sales Outside Of Japan
Purchased The Golden Country as my first XBC game, and I gotta say that I like it right now.
The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the bad VA and akward cutscenes.
Re: Switch Physical Game Sales Increase As Octopath Traveler Crowned July's Best-Selling Game
That's impressive no doubt, but Octopath Traveller beating expectations is a success in itself.
Re: Nintendo Still Has More To Share On Switch Online Before Launch
20 bucks a yr is already a steal to me, but sometimes I wish Nintendo would just do the logical stuff that makes people happy.
But I guess it wouldn't be Nintendo if they stuck to the "logical" route.
Re: Hollow Knight Sold Over A Quarter Of A Million Copies On Switch In Two Weeks
Game is great and deserves all the praise and sales.
As a matter of respect, this game will never be better than Super Metroid or the Castlevanias in the same vein, though.
