My copy of Dragon Quest V. Not just because it's an amazing game, but because I bought it new for 21 euros. It's going for almost ten times that price now.

Europe literally hasnt gotten a single restock. Meanwhile this is like the 3rd restock for the U.S.

I mean sure, this year is amazing. But we've also had years like 2018 with a very lackluster output from Nintendo.

@MajorTom You're absolutely right. Looks like many people didn't even read the question before answering the poll. I guess most people just look at the game they have played and judge ''Nintendo's'' year based off that.

With just how many of the Sonic games are bad, I find it very surprising Sonic still has so many fans.

I wish I could do the same with an NES-shell, that's some serious skill.

The Switch version of this game has become a joke on various subreddits for how downgraded the graphics are...

Nintendo is probably glad with this, since they wanted to buy their shares back.

Graphically it's one of the best GBC games, but I never liked the stage design. Gameplay-wise it was never that good imo. But hey, that's just me. I have played games from that era and earlier with much better stage design.

So many people blindly defending a company that doesn't care about them in this thread, it's pretty hilarious.

@gaga64 I don't really think it's fair to compare the price of a rom collection to the price of each retro game cartridge. If you put it that way the developers could charge about 50 euros for this collection and it would still be a ''good deal.''

My biggest problem with this collection is that it's 20 euros for 3 Game Boy games. If you compare this to the prices of Game Boy games on the 3ds Virtual Console, it's basically twice as expensive.

@abbyhitter I played both and I think the only big difference was a sidequest that gives you an extra partymember.

Indie games can be good, but I never consider them a big deal (1 or 2 exceptions aside). A few indies definitely do not make up for the lack of Nintendo games, their output has been quite low if you dont count Wii U ports. Thankfully I have a huge backlog and wont be bored, but I can definitely see why some people arent happy.

For what it was, it was good. However, it shouldn't have been this. A 3rd party only Direct when there are almost no Nintendo games to look forward to? It's bound to piss people off.

I'm pretty sure the fan reaction wasn't diverse: the majority was dissapointed.

@scully1888 Yes I do know that, however you all represent the same website. And a lot of reviews from this site fall into a very ''interesting'' pattern: it is very remarkable how a lot of ''controversial games'' get 8/10s from this website: Paper Mario Sticker Star/the Origami King, Star Fox 0, Pokémon Sword and Shield, the SuperStar Saga remake, the Wonderul 101, Federation Force, the list goes on. It seems like more than a strange coincidence how almost no ''controversial (nintendo) game'' gets a lower score than an 8 on this website. Except for the obvious bad games like Amiibo Festival.

That aside,I just can not understand how a game can score an 8/10 when even the reviewer admits that a lot of the time is spend on battles that are just not fun. Even when the rest of the game is fun, it just seems a bit too high, but that's just my opinion.

I have literally been playing this game for the past week and have ~30 hours in it...all because I never expected this game to actually get a port XD

I agree with everything but the loading times...those are incredibly long in MHW. I prefer a couple of 4 second loading screens over a single loading time that is 3 minutes long
