Re: Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (17th June)

Jolted85

i got a DSi last week, I already downloaded a few DSiware titles such as flip champs, dr mario express, pictobits, and a few others, pictobits is awesome (and addicting); infact one of the reasons I purchased a DSi was for the shop/dsiware stuff.

The good DSiware games will come out, it takes time, but for now we have a few decent titles that are worth downloading.

Re: Nintendo Download: Popstars, WiiWare Remakes and Clay Fighting (US)

Jolted85

I noticed most of this years games have gone 1 week with an 8 bit game and the next with a 16 bit game, our only break was when we got Majora's Mask last week, I'm not surprised one bit about Clayfighter being released, now the only game we don't have that Europe has in the SG games is E-Swat and I have no idea why they won't release it...

Re: Nintendo Download: Soccer, Pirates and Galaxies (US)

Jolted85

Not interested in this weeks update, but I did get Majoras Mask in the mail today, so I'll be playing that all night tonight, hopefully for the others it'll come next week, if you still have an N64 i'd recommend hunting it down, or get the VC version when it comes out.

Re: Nintendo Download: Clocks, Calculators, Penguins and Towers (US)

Jolted85

i'm gonna get majoras mask on my next paycheck, I have to order it online though, I bought the 4mb expansion for my N64 last week, so I'll skip the VC MM, as for this weeks VC, I got Tower Toppler, it has pretty decent graphics for a C64 game, they look really good.

I can see how other people are disapointed though...

Re: Nintendo Download: Clubhouse Games, Paper Planes, Platforms and Warring States (US)

Jolted85

I read that the reason why ninty lowered the amount of VC releases is so they can push Wiiware more, and I think they've achieved that goal, for me I'm happy as to what the VC has become, they gave us imports, and games that we would normally be unable to get elsewhere.

Sure ninty acts in strange ways, but I think they've done a good job with the VC, and no matter how you look at it 297 games is pretty impressive, and yes I do know Japan gets majorly spoiled with VC releases, but hey it's Japan >_>

Re: Nintendo Download: Clubhouse Games, Paper Planes, Platforms and Warring States (US)

Jolted85

I don't see why you guys care so much about one game a week, think about it most months usually have 4 or 5 weeks, so if we get one game a week on a 4 week month thats 4 games, so then we have a 5 week month that's 5 games so 4 + 5 is 9 games in two months, how many months are in a year you add to that and that is how many games you get in a year.

It's really not THAT bad think about it, south korea only gets updates every 2 to 4 weeks EU gets one VC update every fortnight so it's really not that bad.

Re: Nintendo Download: 21 April 2009 (Japan)

Jolted85

I'm fine with them getting more games than us, as long as Nintendo keeps adding to the US catalogue every week, sure it's one game, but it's one game more each week, we're only 4 games away from our 300th game, also the reason why JP has more games than us is because they got a hell of a lot of launch games, just go to the wiki list and you'll see that it dwarfs our launch games.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - April 2009

Jolted85

Majora's Mask will be awesome when it gets released here, I had it back when it first came out, now you don't need an expansion pak to play the game, but yeah I agree it is kinda difficult and annoying at times, still a fun game though.

Re: Namco Announces Upcoming Arcade Games

Jolted85

Namco is good and all, but I'm really hoping for some CPS2 fighting games such as Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, or any of the arcade SF2 games they're certainly better than the watered-down SNES/SG ports.

Re: USA VC Update: Bomberman '94 and Detana!! Twinbee

Jolted85

I'm really looking into buying Detana TwinBee, I heard it's a cool game, I'm surprised Nintendo gave hudson a week of their own, it's cool to see the TG16 return this week, however don't expect anything big from next weeks releases, judging by the way ninty acts it'll be a one game week again.

I'm also predicting that the Genesis version of Wonder Boy will also be released.

Re: Bomberman '94 & Detana!! Twinbee Coming To US Virtual Console On Monday

Jolted85

according to what has happened in the past, when Hudson wanted games to come out on the VC Nintendo would change their mind and release something else, speaking of which I just checked the ratings on the ESRB page and yes, we will get another Wonder Boy game (Genesis); soon, so if Detana and Bomberman don't get released expect the Wonder Boy game instead

Re: OFLC Update: Even More Imports!

Jolted85

I think ninty is trying to make all regions have an equal amount of games, I'd like to see Dragon Slayer head our way as it's scheduled for release during the Hanabi festival, but I'm glad the EU folks get Kirby's Dream Land 3.

Re: USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos

Jolted85

I never had a chance to play the Sonic games for Game Gear or SMS, I already have Sonic 1, 2, and I'll get this game, I'm trying to get all the Sonic games on the VC, but theres still more ninty can release, when will they release Sonic & Knuckles, it's been rated for over a year now...

Re: Wonder Boy in Monster Land Includes Special Options

Jolted85

Back in the eighties to mid 90's most arcade games used an FM Synthesizer, even the Genesis had one, that's why when you compare the music to some SNES games to the Genny, the Genny sounds a bit different, some people say the Genny was "aging"; but that was due to Sega using a FM Synthesizer because at the time that was top of the line.

I like FM Synthesis though, makes the games unique

Re: USA VC Update: MUSHA

Jolted85

This game looks interesting so I'll probably download it down the road, but this is like our 100th shooter on the VC though.

Re: USA VC Update: Castlevania III

Jolted85

Already downloaded it, it's my favorite game from the original NES series, I like the way 2009 is looking, we had Kirby Dream Land last week, and now Castlevania III, we also have Ogre Battle, and Super Punch Out to look forward to.
