Re: Wii "Most Reliable Console of This Generation"

Jolted85

i've only had the RROD happen to me once, it's almost been a year since it happened and it hasn't done it again, my warranty was out, but microsoft was nice enough to fix it for me for free, all I had to do was send it to UPS, and I lived close to the repair center so I got it back quick.

my wii has been pretty good to me since I got it in 2007, allthough every so often the graphics will slow down noticeably in gameplay, this is rare though, i'd like to know what causes it, has anyone else had this problem happen to their wii?

Re: Nintendo Rep: Virtual Console Being Toned Down

Jolted85

I started to get worried about the VC when the Japanese VC started to slow down, they were getting 12 releases a month, then 8, then 6 and so on, this month they only got like 4 or 5 scheduled releases, so to me it looks like Nintendo is slowing down all regions of the VC.

I also look at it like this, the US has 309 games, EU has 302 the VC backlog is really big, I mean Nintendo has given us what a lot of us want, and when your done buying all the VC games, you have all the Wiiware to download.

It updates every week with more Wiiware games so it's not like we're not getting anything, also I've been going to the local stores to find games for the older consoles and some I've missed out on when I was growing up that I wanted to get, the retro scene seems more active these days than it was before.

Still it's not good that it's slowing down.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - July 2009

Nothing really interests me in July's release list, I already have Shinobi unlocked in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the 360, and I also have Super Punch Out, Final Fantasy III was never released for the NES outside Japan so nothing really to outstanding.

I wonder when we'll get the first Final Fantasy though?

@13

If Capcom ever jumps on VCA support, yes we will see the arcade versions of SF2, personally I'd get those as well considering I already have the home console versions on the VC, the arcade versions are much better, also having Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on the VCA would be awesome.

Re: Review: Mario Clock (DSiWare)

I have yet to download the clock applications, and if I were to get one it would be the Mario versions, but still I agree with the review it does seem like a quick cash in for nintendo and a waste
