I'll get this game the next time I have some Wii points, we have had 3 good weeks so far on the VC (the first being Phantasy Star IV, second Startropics II, and now Kirby's Dream Land 3); let's hope Ninty keeps up this trend.

Hey at least the big N gave us one of their games for the last update of 2008, and I've been wanting to play this game for some time now...

Japan gets random games though, the Zoids game looks interesting...

Glad you guys get that as a Christmas present, it is an awesome game, I'm glad we finally received Phantasy Star IV on Monday.

I downloaded Enduro Racer and it is pretty much like Excitebike, except you have other vehicles you have to race against, I can't really say anything else about it, strange this is the 2nd week of the VC getting a Sega Master System game, least Master System people get some love...

The game reminds me of Flashback for the Genesis, I guess it's another Prince of Persia game, looks fun.

This isn't really that bad of a game, sure you gotta pay 700 for the import price, but it is a good pool sim.

i don't mind nintendo releasing one game a week, as long as we get some kind of release on the VC, besides ninty considers WiiWare and VC games together (if you didn't know that already); still would like to see the EU people get Secret of Mana, you guys still have yet to receive Mario Golf as well...

I'm just happy that the VC updates every week, and besides I wanted this game to come out, I remember playing the Game Gear version when I was a kid, so I'll get this one, I mean it's only 500 points...

Already have Metal Slug 2 on Metal Slug Anthology, I played it, however I felt it was a bit short, so I have no need to download the VC version, hopefully we'll get two games next week.

I was going to pass on this week anyway, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix comes out wednesday for XBLA so my paycheck will go towards that.

Average week for me, I can play Space Invaders on Taito Legends 2 for my PS2, I might get Forgotten Worlds, I've always been interested in playing it, but never got a chance to do it...

Alright! Mega Man 3 is awesome, it's the longest in the series, and introduced the slide ability, I'm getting this one sometime tonight, good week for me.

I remember playing the SNES version when I was a kid, I never really got a chance to play it again, so I might get this.

Yesterday was my birthday and I was expecting the big N to give us something good, but I never really played Earthworm Jim, so I might give this one a try, and I do like the Sega Genesis games.

Awesome week, my fav version of Street Fighter 2 is now on the VC, I already have Street Fighter 2 and Super Street Fighter 2 on the VC, I will get SF2 CE whenever I get some points, I didn't download SF2 Turbo but I will get the Genesis version.

Mega Man 3 is probably the hardest for me out of all the Mega Man series, it's still an awesome game, and it introduced the slide, as well as Mega Man's brother ProtoMan, I'll buy this when it comes out.

makes me forget all about Cammy Dunaway breaking her wrist at E3, and that horrible conference, now I need to go out and buy a bigger SD card...

Well even though it's a one VC game week, it is another SNES game and we don't have a whole lot of those, another interesting fact about Super Turrican 2 is that it is kinda rare over here in the states for the SNES, so having it on the VC makes it easier to play.

I can tell that the SuperGrafx was just like the 32X, very few games were released for the system and the company behind it didn't support it well, to those who were talking about Strider, I do believe that the game came out on the pc engine cd-rom attachment as an Arcade card title, also Darius Alpha along with Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire are the two rare games for the PC Engine system, there may be more rare games but those are the two I can think of right now.

I notice that JP VC releases are slowing down abit, last month on August 12 they didn't get any VC releases at all, but Japan will have close to 400 games soon, that's a milestone if you ask me...

More TurboGrafx goodness

Finally Vectorman! I don't know how long this has been rated, but I'm glad it's out, I might get this one later, I already downloaded Mega Man 9 and it's awesome, I might get Super Dodge Ball, but this is a very good week for the US, 2 WiiWare and 2 VC games, not bad.

I'll definitely get this when it comes out over here, the Special Champion Edition on the Genesis is the closest you can get to the arcade version on the 16 bit consoles, the music is almost identical since the Genesis uses a sound chip similar to the arcade.

The Hyper mode in this game seems to be faster than the SNES versions speed, if you want to see insane put the speed on 10 stars, it'll blow your mind...

I'll download this one later this week, I still play the original NES game from time to time, but I like having a copy I can play without dragging the old NES out, Mega Man 2 is considered the best game out of the original series, and it has good reason to be considered the best, good week even though its 1 game.

I played this on Taito Legends 2 on PS2, but I don't think it's worth 800 points, however I do like how the game speeds up the noise when the enemies move closer, makes you hurry up lol.

Not real sure on Cho Aniki, not really big on Final Soldier either, but I do know that within the next few weeks of September we should be getting Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 9, can't wait!

Look forward to Demon's review later, I already have Chase H.Q. but I'd like to see the review for Ys as I know nothing about it, and I'm not all for DoReMi I just can't get into it, maybe it's me though.

Zomg! Super Mario RPG!

I've never played it, but when I get this on the VC it'll be my first time, least now the people in US can quit complaining about it.

I notice the releases for Japan are shortening, this month they only have 12, the past few months they've been usually getting 14 or 15 releases, so I guess Japanese VC releases are slowing down a bit.

Is Cho Aniki a CD game, or is it a regular Turbo Grafx game? If it's a CD game it'll cost 100 points extra making it 900 points, the extra price may throw me off on getting the game though, but who knows I may get it some day.

Forgotten Worlds was the first game on the CPS arcade hardware, the same hardware that Street Fighter 2 ran on, and since the Genesis/Megadrive uses similar specs its an almost identical port to the arcade game, I've never even played Secret of Mana nor any SNES rpg's, probably my first RPG will be Super Mario RPG, whenever that comes out.

I read somewhere Mega Man 9 is supposed to hit Japan in September, as well as the US, so we might be playing Mega Man 9 sometime next month, which also means we might get both Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 2 on the same day.

The only games I havn't downloaded this year are Spelunker, Splatterhouse 2, Skykid, and Fantasy Zone, every other title I downloaded, and it looks like I'm going to download Ys and Samurai Shodown 2 whenever I get some more Wii Points.

Neo Turf Masters is definately much better than NES Open Tournament Golf, I play this game quite a bit actually, it's so easy to play, anyone can get into it real quick.

I downloaded both Mega Man and Neo Turf Masters, Neo Turf Masters is probably my favorite game on the NeoGeo, and well Mega Man needs no explanation as to why I like it, I'll download Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 9 whenever they come out.

I think this is the VC's first Mature rated title, but I don't think Splatterhouse is my type of game, allthough I do think some people like this type of game, not me though.

I havn't played it, but I hear its a NES classic, to bad it can't go up.

Maybe Samurai Shodown II will come out this coming Monday for the US, I doubt it though.

Nintendo has always been strict on 3rd parties, even in the NES days, infact back then, Nintendo said only a certain amount of titles can come from 3rd party developers, thats why companies like Konami had to make other parts of the company to release new games.

Nintendo does need to be more open-minded about 3rd parties though.

This is really starting to anger me, I mean Japan gets their release dates every month, and on the main page of the shop channel they find out what games they can expect, however Nintendo of America's way of doing it is "hey let's give the game an ESRB rating and maybe a release date just to get them excited, and at the last moment, we'll change it and put something out they dont want"; if Japan can get all their releases done for the whole month, why not everyone else?

I'm kinda getting tired of Japan getting all the release dates, whereas to people in the rest of the world we have to wait to see what we get, and now I know not to trust release dates anymore if Nintendo does this stuff.

The only bad part about Mega Man is that final stage, the annoying Rock Monster, Mega Man clone, and the final bosses make it harder, but other than that the first Mega Man is a classic.

What the... 3 releases in one week? I must be dreaming, I'm definitly downloading Mega Man!

I have 1200 points left and I'm wondering if I should go for Samurai Shodown II (I like the NeoGeo fighters); or Ys? I'm not to much into the RPG genre, but I'm looking to get into it, but I do prefer fighting games over RPG's since I'm unfamiliar with them.

Glad we're getting Samurai Shodown II, gotta love the NeoGeo games.
