@ericwithcheese2 Last time I remember, Kimishima said that Miitomo was going to be the only free app from Nintendo. The rest of the apps AFTER Miitomo, well, you're gonna have to buy them.
You know, to this day, I'm kinda surprised Nintendo of America hasn't been hacked Anonymous-style, just so they (the hackers) could see and release the deep personal information to why NoA always, ALWAYS changes some stuff from the original NoJ version of the games, that they deem "innapropiate".
*I know what you're gonna say: SNK already did the SNK Arcade Collection Vol. 1, and Metal Slug Anthology. But what I would love is for SNK to give us 3D versions of their games.
I think that Nintendo should collaborate with Bandai-Namco again in the future, and make the next Mario Kart game for the Nintendo NX, and...
...Who knows? Maybe they'll include some playable Bandai-Namco (probably Namco) characters like Pac-Man or Taizo Hori (Dig Dug), some stages from Pac-Man World Rally, and an arcade option.
Aside from reading amiibo figures, the only feature that I love from the gamepad is Off-TV Play. It was Nintendo's version of streaming from one place to another.
Hopefully Nintendo puts an emphasis on that feature and creates some kind of hybrid between Off-TV Play, Remote Play, handheld capabilities, and controller functions on the NX handheld.
Animal Crossing: Wild World because it was the first Animal Crossing for the Nintendo DS, in which it popularized AC even further into the handheld market, rather than on home consoles (although I wish they made one for the Wii U). A sim game in which you could take it on the go. How about that?
Also, it was the first and only Animal Crossing game that I ever played. I wonder if I still have the cartridge. I wish I could play AC: New Leaf.
We have Fast Racing NEO as a fill for the void of F-Zero games for Nintendo consoles, and now we have this game also as a fill for the void of Wave Race games for Nintendo consoles.
They (Nintendo) once said that the Miitomo app and the My Nintendo rewards site might come bundled up together on the same day.
What does this mean? If the Miitomo app comes to Japan on March 17th, then these two things might either come in March 31st, which is the same day the Twilight Princess My Nintendo reward comes for the first time, or, those Miitomo and My Nintendo might either come that week (March 27 - April 2) or a week prior to March 31st (March 20 - 26).
So yeah. Our stuff might come in those upcoming weeks that I mentioned above.
I don't know if this would be on topic or not, but I want the Nintendo NX to support third-party engines, that are not just Unity and Unreal (like some rumors say), like Dunia Engine 2 (Far Cry), Creation Engine (Skyrim, Fallout 4), RAGE (GTA V), REDEngine (The Witcher), IW Engine (Call of Duty series), Frostbite (Battlefield 3 and 4), id Tech engine (Wolfenstein, Doom), etc.
If Nintendo wants the NX to be successful, they got to give NX dev kits to third-parties, and they got to let them in. (By making games.)
@DefHalan Now that you mention it, I want the classic Doom games that apeared on Nintendo home consoles (for example, Doom, Doom II, Doom 64, etc.) to come back to the Virtual Console.
Eh. If Sega would listen to fan feedback and this Sonic cgi/live-action movie ends up being more like Michael Bay's version of TMNT (and its upcoming sequel), then maybe, JUST MAYBE, I would watch the film.
If not, then this movie won't just be one 2018's Top 10 worse movies ever made. It will be one the worse movies ever made in history, period.
Now here are my ideas of what I would want in a Nintendo NX:
1. An architecture that anybody can “mold”. And by “mold” I mean that anybody (second-party, third-party, indie) can develope and port games. No more half-as*ed, lazy ports.
2. A dedicated, console-specific APU instead of a separate CPU and GPU that slowed down a little bit on the Nintendo Wii U. (Most games couldn’t, and still can’t, run at 60fps.) (Here’s hoping that the industry-leading chips is this.)
3. A simple chassis. Please, nothing exaggerated.
4. 4K Resolution. I know this may sound like a pipe dream, but knowing that when the Nintendo Wii U came out, it became literally the first HD console Nintendo has ever made, ever. But the times have changed now.
5. The NX needs to read any kind of external hard drives. Games are becoming more big and more storage-consuming. So if the PS4 and XBONE can use external hard drives, so can the NX.
6. It needs to be engine friendly. This goes with my points about the architecture and APU. If Nintendo wants the NX to succeed, they’ll have no choice but make the console accept any kind of console engine, and not just Unity. (Unreal, Crytek, RAGE, Creation, REDengine, IW, Frostbite, etc.) Again, this seems like a pipe dream.
7. A better GUI/Home Menu. No more “channel-surfing” icons and actions. That should’ve stayed with the Wii.
8. A simpler, yet cool name. Please, nothing repetitive this time. No more Wii-(insert something here). Again, Wii should’ve stayed in Wii. NOT Wii U.
9. A Steam-like or GOG.com-like library of Virtual Console games. If it’s possible, I want them to throw an Ambassador-like Program in which it gives you 10 free Nintendo 64 games and 10 free Nintendo Gamecube games.
10. Backwards compatibility with Nintendo Wii U games (and Nintendo Wii games, if it’s possible). It would also give them an opportunity to make the Wii U Gamepad, the Pro Controller, the Classic Controller, Wii Remote and Nunchuck (with and without the Motion Plus), the Wii Sensor Bar, and the Nintendo Gamecube controller (I know people will still be playing SSB like crazy once the NX comes).
11. No more 32gb and 50gb of storage for the console. Make it 250gb or 500gb of storage. Okay, this sounds crazy expensive. But it’s the principle of more memory storage.
12. Energy efficiency. I think the Wii U already has this.
13. While their at it, here’s hoping they fix the problems the Nintendo Network ID has for the NX. I can see this with their recently announced Nintendo Account.
14. An improved version of the Miiverse app once the NX comes. Although Nintendo is constantly updating it to make it look a little bit better.
15. A Nintendo Account app and My Nintendo app for both the NX and the Wii U. This is definitely going to happen.
16. Some kind of “software-relationship” between NX and mobile games developed from DeNa. You guys understand, right?
17. A music player in which it can let you listen to your favorite songs while playing games, and an image viewer in which it can let you put images in the background like the PS4, PS Vita smartphones, and other devices. Seems pointless, but fun IMHO.
18. An improved version of the Off-TV Play for the Nintendo NX controller/handheld. The wireless range of the Off-TV Play for the Wii U was short that you would lose the connection from your room to another.
19. And for the love of God Almighty, because we love Him so much, NO MORE REGION LOCK! If Nintendo doesn’t want piracy (and to a lesser extent, homebrew), Nintendo needs to make the NX region-free, something that many people have been asking for years.
I already posted these ideas in Starmen.net, WAY BEFORE Jonathan Bee posted this article. Some of these ideas are somehow similar to the ones mentioned above.

2. F-Zero- Another almost forgotten series that Nintendo hasn't even paid attention. Even though Shin'en has filled the hole for a new F-Zero game with their IP NEO Fast Racing for the Wii U, it wouldn't be a bad idea for Nintendo to give the F-Zero IP to them, so they can develope a brand new F-Zero game for the NX.
3. Wave Race - From what I've seen, this is a fun series that also needs to make a comeback on the NX, especially since Nintendo loves to implement their Mii's and amiibo technology in their games nowadays. It would be financially stupid to let this franchise pass.
