@Octane Except Shadow of the Colossus sold really good in UK and I'm pretty sure it did too on US since it was among Amazon's best sellers.

I have always find that oddly hilarious.

Also Japan does love those Dynasty Warrior games.

Monster Hunter or not Switch will do well in Japan.

It will have: DQ11, Splatoon, Mario, Pokemon and Animal Crossing. Pretty much it will have the biggest franchises there aside from MH. Is Capcom's lost more than Nintendo's to be honest.

I still need to buy this...my wishlist has 24 games and they aren't cheap.

They range from 15-50!!!! Grrrr...

I agree with others here, they should prioritize performance instead of graphics or even better; gives us the option to choose between Cinematic mode and Gameplay mode.

@FatAlbert1 yep the 3DS has at best two more years in the market but Nintendo is dropping support starting this year. They will just release the games already announced for it and call it a day.

The Nintendo Switch sold 14.86 million consoles in 10 months.
According to Wikipedia, the original Wii shipped 13.17 million units by September 2007, a little over 10 months after its launch. So the Switch is currently outpacing the Wii, although after 10 months the Wii entered its second holiday season and will definitely retake the lead.
What about the DS? Surprisingly, it had a slow start, shipping 8.83 million units after 10 months.
And the PS4? After exactly 12 months, it sold 14.4 million units. Just for some perspective.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I think the Switch will surpass those 3DS figures. Games like Metroid 4, Pokemon Switch, Animal Crossing Switch and Smash DX are still to come. Plus the next Zelda and the next Mario Odyssey.

You extrapolate sales but you don't take into consideration the insane library differences when it comes to games. I'm pretty sure 3DS sales weren't steady all the time, they must have spikes when key games were release. The same will hold true for the Switch.

Please let this become real.
