It took me playing all of 10 min of the free demo to realize how disastrous this "remaster" is.

If I was going to wager a guess...it's probably the FF series (possibly 1-6) or Square has decided to double down. On the Mana series titles that was a huge franchise

For my two cents...Switch has a successful, growing, and robust console fan base. Not all of the 80+ million users are going to like the same thing. Directs are probably going to be more diverse to speak to more to every demographic of Switch user.

I don't know how and I don't know in what way....but my confidence remains high that Square will find a way to screw up this release.

It's kind of plain and generic...not a fan, they could've done some cool artwork or etchings on the dock or controller or something.

I've been playing video games for almost 30 years and most play for the story. I am thrilled when I see a "Story" or "Easy Mode" difficulty! I enjoy playing through the game getting a chance to feel out the story and then come back and revisit on a harder difficulty if I want a challenge

This really doesn't surprise me...I love my Switch. This is the first time I've never really been interested in a nex-gen console launch because neither of them have anything I really want to play. The biggest title would probably Final Fantasy 16 but Square has done a bang up job at turning me off from games they put out recently Coughs - Crystal Chronicles

I've had the Switch version of Prince of Persia pre-ordered for almost two months now with GameStop...so I don't understand where all this speculation is coming from....

This is a fantastic idea and would be stupid for Nintendo to NOT pursue. Keep everything reverse compatible and build the online and virtual console libraries. Coast and make money Nintendo.

Ummmm... GameStop certainly took my money for a deposit on a pre order of the Prince of Persia remake on Switch..so it better come.

Pay the $30 a year for the family plan and added a few friends. Get to play and relive the classics and have enjoyed playing All stars with some friends. I've been using this service more recently, more than when I initially signed up.

Such a squandered opportunity....I have no intention on buying this flaming pile of crap that is this remaster, however, nearly a week after launch and there still is no listing for the Android mobile version of this game... probably for the best. Square should come out with an apology.

The original GameCube version sells on eBay for $30, save your money, buy the original and be able to enjoy playing side-by-side with a friend...

Square has done their finest to undermine and undercut the success of this game. Truly disappointing to watch the hype for this game slowly fizzle from its first reveal. Had hoped to see a remaster of the whole Crystal Chronicles series, but I think that's unlikely at this point seeing reviews like this.

This was the easiest $107 I ever spent. Love this game.

A "Switch Pro" would need to be backwards compatible with my current Switch cartridges

had just gotten and started this game on my 2DS...totally traded in and pre-ordered this...I can wait a little longer

Passed on the digital release, even the Black Friday deal, just for this physical release. Hoping the first one makes it way to Switch too!
