Found last season the most boring with the removal of al the vehicles/mobility and was not a fan of the sand tunneling. Do hope they bring some new stuff back.

But pound for pound this is still the best crossplay multiplayer game there is.

On a Stadia related note, not impressed at all. Big words , big promises bottlenecked by internet and lack of games.

The good however as mediocre as i see this becoming is that more competition is always a good thing. No need for the giants to sleep on there comfy asses.

@Bunkerneath I thought the same thing but when you change controls you need to add a name for a custom profile.

Next time you select a fighter in any mode change p1 to your profile because p1 is still jump with stick up.

@Rohanrocks88 indeed and they always seem to be assist NPCs in wol. Damn main enemy hiding behind 3 villagers spamming that silly rocket is a nightmare.

Isabella is just straight up hell with her fishing rod when VS multiple NPCs.

This is incorrect, don’t look at world of light as normal fights. The name of the game is cheesy fights and you should make a spirit card combo that either counters them or cheeses harder.

So vs wind, a card that is anti wind makes the stage super easy. Or the other route is a sword fighter with a sword primary spirit and 2 or 3 + sword dmg cards.

Also don’t overlook the rock>paper>scissors combo. If you can’t beat him, it is probably not skill based but you using to weak spirit cards.

World of light and spirit board are heavily influenced by that rpg mechanic.

Worth nothing this list is set up for 1 vs 1 encounters.

A simple tournament mode would easily solve this, nothing a update can't fix.

It is entirely possible that i am a special snowflake but not once in my life have i ever used Metacritic of all places as a measurement to judge or buy a game nor will i ever.

Best thing will always be different youtube video reviews where you see actual gameplay.

Did not get the service and prolly never will, unless the deals you get with NSO will be great but I doubt it.

Switch is my local multiplayer machine anyway for good online I’ll go to my pc or Xbox.

@ReaderRagfish There simply is no competition. Add to that every year there are new gamers and for some this will be there first Cod or second or third and in no way have they hit Cod fatigue yet.

This statement however is a giant joke. Place all the Pokémon games in a row and you barely see any difference. Played blue, yellow , diamond skipped sun.

Fun games but you do exactly the same in all of them, get a starter Pokemon, have a rival , do a linear gym beat down all from a isometric view.

There is simply no competition in that genre it does what it does well with 3 beloved modes. Battle royale, zombies and normal multiplayer.

A 9 seems a wee bit generous compared to other reviews, i would suggest people to look up some video review first because the complaints are repetitive missions.

Imagine sitting in the park with your switch. There is WiFi coming out of your bench because it’s 2018. Your using your phone to use the voice chat, all is good and fun.

Some random dude walks by and stabs you in the neck 14 times and steals your switch. Normally one phone call would solve this all. But you can’t because your phone battery is now also dead because of the app.
