Characters turned into over the top weebs, characters tuned into Reddit humor losers, and for some reason they thought constantly talking about “cracking eggs” was in good taste.
So let me get this straight. You wrote an article bashing Dispatch for censoring out of game artwork, but you have no problem saying FF tactics is your best remaster despite it having censorship that makes the game itself worse?
Oh so what they did to Thousand Year Door, Dragon Quest 3, Trails in the Sky, Last Defense Academy, 13 sentinels, Fire Emblem 3 houses, Sam & Max, the messenger, Triangle Strategy, and Live a Live was ok, but you draw the line at a game that is content complete and didn’t make changes after being bullied by hacktivists?
Fantastic Four had a budget of $200 million and a marketing cost of $100 million and only made $510 million meaning a minimum loss of $90 million. Theatres take roughly 50% off revenue.
Super man had a budget of $225 million and a marketing cost of $125 million. It made $615 million meaning it lost at minimum $85 million dollars.
Both were flops and if DC was so happy why did they send it to streaming early and why is James Gunn worried Netflix will fire him?
Edit: Also for completion sake
Thunderbolts lost about $100 million
Captain America 4 lost $500 million on the low end making it the biggest box office bomb of all time. If they had put Captain America their Captain America movies night have helped, but at least Doomsday is course correcting.
Also while we don’t have direct numbers for things like Ironheart, Zombies, or Eyes of Wakanda. We know they didn’t chart and that Disney hated Eyes of Wakanda so much the studio went out of business before it even aired. Also Wonder Man is DOA. Making this the worst year to be a superhero fan since Captain Marvel
I think the most interesting part of this is learning why so many of the QoL changes made for this couldn’t be added to the BN collection. Those games being made in assembly and were essentially a black box.
Back to back isn’t the problem. It’s that every other CoD game this decade has sucked.
MW3 was originally going to be DLC but Blizzard just couldn’t charge anything less than $70 for effectively one extra map
It’s almost impossible that BI7 wasn’t in the same boat.
Do your Modern Warfare 4 next year, but then something new please? Or heaven forbid stop the teleport release. BO6 wasn’t in need of being abandoned so soon.
As someone who still has my launch day switch 1 and 2, I’ve come to appreciate the simple and user friendly UI and mouse controls might be the best gimmick they’ve ever done.
DS touch controls were done well for a lot of games, and waggle…sucked let’s be honest, but unless you count the hybrid as a gimmick the mouse mode is awesome.
As for the games yes I’ve come around on key cards and don’t see them as an issue, and games like Hitman and Bravely Default show good 3rd party support.
Honestly the only controversy with any teeth so far is that Nintendo really gave Metroid to people who hate gaming and it shows.

So bad it almost killed the company.

@Misima
What I meant was that if someone say was wearing the headset outside and walked into traffic, Nintendo almost certainly would have lost the case.

The law also said they had to put a thick metal slab between the user and the screen which is why it’s so bulky.
Re: Opinion: The Nintendo Console Nobody Wanted To Review Returns Soon, And I'm Here For It, Again

Consumer safety laws at the time would have allowed customers to sue Nintendo if they got hurt while wearing the device.

Re: Larian "Would Have Loved" Baldur's Gate 3 On Switch 2, Will "Certainly Consider" Divinity
“Would Nintendo refuse the game? Unlikely, we think.”
The game’s content is so vile I literally can’t even say why the devs got banned on TikTok.
This is easily a game Nintendo would never allow.

Both of these games were considered max cringe. Ultra Smash is quite literally considered one of Nintendo’s worst and definitely worst sports game.

The localizers changed a bunch of stuff.
Re: One Of 2025's Standout Switch Releases Could Get A Switch 2 Edition Upgrade
Unless they uncensor the dialogue changes made by the hacktivists it’s still unplayable. This is why AI will replace localizers.
