I understand the skepticism from some, but Crash is so rich with fun characters I can't help but be excited! Sounds like a great idea to me as long as the humor can appeal to everyone

MKW is undoubtedly more polished but Crossworlds is the most addicted I've been to a kart racer since CTR:NF.

I've played over 10 hours so far on my switch 2. Presentation can be quite ugly but the game is basically locked at 30 fps for me, and I had so much fun that I stopped caring about the graphics entirely.

I agree with the reviewer — this is a good option if it's your only option. I really do feel you can get past the shoddy graphics and have a great time.

I won't hold it against anyone for picking this up, but it's insane to see people defend outrageous prices like these when these very same games have been rereleased for far cheaper before — cheaper than what they initially retailed for even. It's just as absurd to put down anyone justifiably criticizing this release.

First one is certainly not a bad time, but as a kid I always yearned for more characterization in the mainline mario games, particularly for mario himself. And instead all you know about the guy after watching the movie is "he never gives up" and "he dislikes mushrooms." I don't need super deep interpersonal conflicts or character drama or anything — I just wanna know more about my childhood hero beyond those two traits, and I don't think that's a huge ask even for a kid's movie.

That aside, I'm glad you were able to form a bonding experience with your daughter over this. I know this is probably a lot of kids' favorite movie.

@Arkay That's fair. I personally feel the amount of criticism for this game is justified, but I understand your point in regards to other games.

@Arkay To say "it's popular to hate on anything Nintendo" is just ignoring legitimate criticisms people have for this game. There's no reason Switch sports should be released with a fraction of the content it's wii predecessor had.

Headline led me to believe you guys got to play the switch version, but I was mistaken. Unfortunate we don't have much coverage on that version. I know it'll be a lower fps, but I wonder if the graphics will be downscaled at all.

@NinjaWaddleDee If you're wanting the pc version, your only option is Epic Games Store. Steam won't be getting this one unfortunately.

Man, reading this made me forget how much I loved Skyward Sword on the wii. If I buy this though, it'll definitely be during a sale (so probably a couple years from now). Still can't justify full price for reasons many people have already explained before.

The ninja turtles inclusion is already tempting enough for me (Also 80's turtles and not 2012 or the Rise? Interesting). If the game is decently fun I'll check it out. Hard to have full impressions as I'm at work and can't watch the trailer.

@Yosher It's not a streaming exclusive. The article says US viewers without Peacock will still be able to watch the movie "in the cinema, or during the ten-month period in-between the Peacock exclusive months."

A lot of people here seem out of touch with modern meme culture (understandably so, it's weird).
The main joke of these videos is the overuse of stock sound effects, silvagunner remixes, and outdated memes. This is simply what people are laughing at nowadays. I am one of the those people.

As a huge Rayman fan, this is heartbreaking. Sad to see him move on from his legacy, but I sincerely wish him the best of luck and happiness in his future endeavors. Thank you, Michel Ancel, for making one of my favorite games of all time, Rayman 2.

@Apportal You could not be further from the truth. The Sonic fan community, especially on twitter, has been begging for some sort of announcement for months. Lots of speculation has been going on as to what the potential SXSW announcements would have been. Just because you don't care about Sonic, doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.

Both Zeldas are what I'm holding out hope for, even if I already own both remasters on the Wii U. My Wii U gamepad refuses to work properly unless it's charging at all times, so I want better alternatives that won't require me paying for a repair/new controller.

3D World would be nice as well as I actually traded in my copy believing a switch port was inevitable.

Actually looks kinda menacing? Like I get the thwomp is supposed to be an enemy but it looks like the entire eye rather than just the pupil is red.

I have not played a single LM game, but I plan to play the gamecube original before any other entry first. Perhaps I'll get this game next year or so.

@Sunsy Thank you! But the concept art doesn't show Rayman at all, so my fear is the only resemblance to the series will just be the world and character design. Just kinda got my hopes down, but hopefully it will be great in its own way!

So instead of actually getting a proper Rayman cartoon, we're getting something that's "inspired" by the franchise?? So outraged because I read "rayman" and "cartoon" in the same sentence and nearly squealed. Now I'm so disappointed that I created a NintendoLife account just to say this.
