I love DLC when it provides meaningful content like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors and New Super Luigi U. Adding new fighters to Super Smash Bros. is complex as it requires full balancing with existing characters so I "agree" with the price and will buy them. Also, there's probably a much smaller team working on the game now. But those costumes are pointless and I agree with the above posters - vote with your cash and don't grab them!

I think it's clear to see where Nintendo is going with this and I'm pleased... But knowing Nintendo you never know, right?

Takamaru would have worked as a fast but weaker Link with some Sheik-like ninja skills? That would be cool but I agree, too many swordfighters in.

I think it will be something you can plug on a TV and pair Wiimotes for multiplayer OR take out with you and play on its builtin screen wherever you are.

Nintendo is a very wise company. Female Dogging out its IPs like Sega and Square Enix would earn Nintendo loads of money in a short time but they would lose value really quickly too.

Bundles are amazing. When you look at trilogies like DKC, it seems very natural to offer them all in a reduced-price pack!

The game is short and sweet but if you're the time trail type you can redo it all for extra replayability. Yes, about the backpack thing I was really shocked to defeat a goomba using the spin while I went back to clown around in the first levels!

Amiibos with unique ID codes on them that allow you to scan them once to redeem a game.

There's just no way ONLY ONE SINGLE COPY has that glitch.
And regarding the customizations, I think they're ace but I'm not talented/brave enough to try.

I'm a Comet Bowser man but I feel the upcoming Dry Bowser DLC might switch things up!

I think I read somewhere half of the DLC tracks will be revamped tracks and half will be new... so considering the two DLC packs we'll get 8 retro tracks and 8 new ones - which is great considering the low price point.

I'm on the fence... Why Nintendo had to make both so desirable? Each one for their own reasons! Right now I want the smaller one but if the Super Smash Bros (Metalic Red) edition of the XL model comes over to America then I'm sold!

People are nasty about Dark Pit, Lucina and Dr. Mario... but they are NOT occupying no one else's place. If they weren't in the game, they wouldn't be in the game. It's not like Ridley, Birdo and King K Rool would appear there in their places. End of story.

Yoshi's New Island is a great game. Brilliant art direction - stills don't do it justice!

@IceClimbers one of the Nintendo guys said the Smash Mario would have a big portion of usable data for Smash and a smaller portion for "other games". I assume a smaller portion equals smaller or limited functionality...

I need to wait and see how will they work across multiple games. Also, I need to see if having a "Smash Mario" counts as having a fully fledged "Mario" on other games or they'll release multiple Marios.

I'm sure this one was cheaper to develop compared to 3DWorld as they had the engine and most of the assets already done. It just came down to adding a new mechanic here and there and creating the levels. The price feels right and I'm grabbing it on day 1.

Some Virtual Boy games could be remade in 3D (Wario Land, Mario Clash, etc.)
