Re: Video: SEGA Shares "First Look" At Yakuza Kiwami 3's Combat Gameplay

@GrailUK it totally is, we can no longer have carts that allow us to have games when servers for a console are done with. It's a huge deal in gaming longevity, and further removes ownership of a game from you, the consumer. Im surprised people dont get that. This is just me shouting into the void but id love if nintendo life would also have an info column for game key or real cart. Id love it in big bold letters on articles, it saves me time on deciding if its even a game ill consider

Re: Review: Disgaea 7 Complete (Switch 2) - A Definitive Return For This Tactical RPG Giant

DsheroX

@Cipher36 I got dk, cyberpunk and rune factory for switch 2 physical games. I guess these are the outliers, I was very excited to have cyberpunk on a cart. Hell I already beat it on pc before buying it on the switch2. It funnt cause I played it on pc with a controller but im using mouse controls on switch 2. I hope they release more real physical games or this is unironically gonna turn into a buyers remorse situation for me, and i dont want that. I was excited

Re: 007 First Light Is More That Just Spies And Style, Launches March 2026 On Switch 2

Easy dodge with a game key card. Vote with your wallet, people buy physical games to have physical games, not a download code on a mandatory paperweight. If people keep rejecting the game key cards maybe something will actually happen, the cyberpunk sales were a good sign. Though to have full impact people also need to buy physical games. Need to create a full story, cause without people buying ohysical and just rejecting key cards it could be viewed that people don't want physical, even if it isn't true. They need physical games to sell as well

Re: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Updated To Version 1.1.3, "Improves Gameplay" On Switch 2

@Medic_alert weird. Im sure you are testing it live (ish) and we are talking live so I'm gonna assume you are being honest, but that also means im getting conflicting reports online. I wonder if the other people just didn't understand what was meant by analog triggers and havent actually played it on the gamecube. I really hope they make it in line with proper gamecube controls. It would elevate it to being one of my favorite games on the switch series of consoles. Appreciate the response

Re: Look, Maybe We Should Stop Asking For A Sonic Adventure Remaster

DsheroX

I dunno, I've always felt sonic team has been a bit bad as developers, he may be right purely because they will probably good it. If there are two devs I don't really have any faith in it's sonic team and game freaks team that works on pokemon. They are the kings of "good enough? ship it" which to me always gave me the vibe of more of a leadership issue in those teams more than anything

Re: Magnetic Joy-Con Sticks Already In The Works For Switch 2 Amid Fears Of Drift

DsheroX

@Jumwa that's an interesting question, i appreciate that sort of thinking. I mean you would have to measure some stuff, I ain't doing it, but that's something that will be figured out by some R&D engineers. A good point. I think it should be fine, shouldn't be a big enough field to effect the sticks but that's purely a mildly educated guess.

Re: Soapbox: This Year, The Game Awards Failed The Industry

DsheroX

I feel that the game awards have been toeing a line back and forth, in a lot of ways they totally have improved over the years, but this was a step back with good intentions. They tried to fix one problem, and made a whole other. Than of course we have all the ad space, which to be fair, we do like those reveals. However, when little rants about announcements can be 5 minutes, or Kojima can go on stage and do his annual sniffing his own farts bit, it does minimize the core of the event: the awards. They especially need more time for GOTY. Give "lesser" awards a 2-3 minute speech slot, give the got 4-6 and include extra time for translation if needed.

Re: Is Dave The Diver An Indie Game? The Game Awards' Host Weighs In

DsheroX

@LadyCharlie I agree, I was going to say, people must have forgot what indie means. It's a shortened form of independent. If Disney made a film super cheap with no name actors and such, it still wouldn't be an independent film. How odd people forget what words mean. Or at least the writers and Geoff. The poll on here at least seems to show the readers still know.

Re: Video: 8 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In January

DsheroX

I have moved on to pc for my multiplats, but if you can only really play it on the switch, persona 3 and 4 are great. My favorite of the series is 3 personally. It handles its themes well. Persona has been a good series for a long time, I am happy that more can access it.
P.S. Persona 1 and 2 are much more hardcore rpgs, no social sim systems. But if you like dungeon crawling rpgs, they are good, but 2 has issues with way to frequent random battles.
