I have been telling everyone I know since they shut down the Wii shop to buy any and all Wii U and 3DS games they want on the shops because they will be shutting those down at some point. My prediction is coming to be true.

@Specter_of-the_OLED just buy an Eshop card and put the code in or just use the switch to add funds. Either way works perfectly fine. The reason companies like Sony and Nintendo are doing this is because credit card companies charge them like a 2-3% fee for every transaction. With the cards they get all the funds. Makes perfectly good sense to me business wise and is still consumer friendly as you can buy eshop cards online and put the codes in. Me myself I purchase from Best Buy because I have an account and get points from them so I get 5% back and I also use my credit card that gives me 2% back as well so I literally save 7%. It’s a win win for me.

Other versions out of the water considering the only thing keeping it back is the graphics. Considering it sold more than the PS1 and DS versions as well in a gaming world that was ten times bigger also would leave me to think a remaster of the SNES would be the only way to go

Not Nintendo branded so will be worth nothing later. The price is to high for what you get. Would love to have something like this as a huge huge huge Zelda fan and collector but I don’t buy from scalpers nor stuff that is over valued.

@iLikeUrAttitude I actually prefer RMX but redoubt is pretty good. Depending on the price it may be worth picking up. Maybe worth no more than 30 usd if it’s like the original. We will have to see what all it has

@Gamer_Zeus actually people buy systems all the time for one game you can beat in a week. They do it with playstation and Xbox every release. Your comment is completely false. The game awards is all about which company pays enough to win. It has never been about the games.

@StarPoint Nintendo does their own stuff mainly. I would t expect anything from them unless it is e3 or their own showing.

@NotSoCryptic I disagree Mai it because your arguement is completely flawed. There was probably more work put into BotW than any Mass Effect or GTA. You argue reuse but yet all those games have is reuse period. GTA and Mass Effect are literally twice the age of BotW as well.
Value is not about content but about popularity. Nintendo has that and the fact remains their games hold value just because their Nintendo period. Like it or not they are worth more now and 20 years from now than any Mass Effect or GTA will ever be even after being remade 20xs over like they are.

@NotSoCryptic actually your wrong. Digital titles stay at higher prices compared to physical over time. Most actual triple a games stay at full price

Limited run needs to start making copies set for release date. They could easily do a set for release and then one after release if the demand requires it. Maybe even give the perks to the release date copies as well. This whole waiting 9 months for it is ridiculous.

@Sora181 yes there was. It was a regular release though not some limited run crap. Why do these companies do this crap. Buying a physical copy shouldn’t mean waiting a another year to get it.

@Burntbreadman 7/10 usually means it’s replay level worthy, unless it’s a game that’s like 80+ hours long maybe.

@iZen what? Come on man it’s not that freaking difficult. There are games out there way more difficult than this one, hollow knight is a good example.

@Anachronism ohh yea definitely unless they put it out at the end of this gens life and on the new console. They started work on a new one after 8 came to switch so a new one is probably still a ways out which would leave it at the end of the cycle. It’s much easier to make a Cart game definitely than Smash but Nintendo always takes their time in their games and in the end it is worth it to me regardless. With Nintendo you never see the broken games you find everywhere else or many of any issues with them at all as for as working and glitches. I’d rather companies take their time and release well deserved high rated titles or new titles even than half down crap like most do now.

They could have more than one person heading the game regardless of what he says period. Most games have that.
Also they could downsize the roster as well and just do a Pokémon type of game and have two people make two different but the same games. You could call them Smash Mario and Smash Luigi or peach and daisy, toad and toadette, Bowser and count Bleck or Bowser and Mario. Just use the names to separate the two like Pokémon does like Diamond and pearl etc.
It is very much doable and would work fine.

There are going to be a lot of unhappy people when this releases I bet. I see it not living up to expectations and having most likely firmware issues and build and design issues. Again the magnetic cover alone I think will be an issue plus it’s extremely expensive. At that price I’ll buy a Xbox elite controller.

90 bucks is to expensive. The new console controllers don’t cost near that. Also it is a third party controller which will probably have many issues. They are trying to add so much to the original design I believe it will hinder the actual use of it along with all the bugs it’ll probably have. A magnetic cover with one screw holding it in place, yea nothing will go wrong there. Just to many issues with this period.
Also who would pay 10 bucks just to support this and get only a poster? That’s a completely unrealistic donation in my personal opinion. As for the controller itself, I will wait and see the reviews and catch it on a half off sale on Amazon sometime. Until then my GameCube controllers work perfectly fine and getting parts is not at all hard and it is very easy to work on, ohh and I have 6 of them so I think I’m good for awhile.

The game is done period move on and make a new one a sequel. That is what the fan base wants not some added this and that left and right. This is literally played out as much as Skyrim and GTAV has been. Just make a sequel. These companies do nothing but literally siphon every penny from its fans. Doing this is no different than micro transactions because that is exactly what it is.
Say what you want but there would be way more hype and money for them if they just made a Dead Cells 2

@Wilforce what’s ridiculous is the amount of money their syphoning from all of you. Literally around 100 bucks for an indie game with all the dlc? That’s ridiculous. I like the game but not that much, good thing game pass has all the dlc for free. I’ll wait until their done to buy a physical copy for my switch.

At some point they need to move on period. They also need to stop throwing out definitive editions with each DLC. All they are doing is milking it at this point I do t plan on buying the DLCs anymore until I know they are completely done with the game. I prefer physical but even digital if people are buying dlc after frock their already looking at over 100 bucks for an indie game. That is totally ridiculous. Move on, make a Dead Cells 2 or pre-quel when he was alive or something.

People that would do this are those that want it themselves, then you would still have the issue of getting paid because there is nothing legally binding this guy to anyone for payment. This is nothing but a publicity stunt if you ask me.

@kkslider5552000 there’s too many companies out there. The whole gaming industry is saturated and there just isn’t enough time to even play all the good ones let alone any others.

@TheRedComet I just bought Valhalla for $20 new. People always ask me why I buy physical and that’s exactly why I do for Nintendo because the value holds. As for every other system I am working towards digital for everything blast the ps3 and 360 because almost everything has some sort of download from the internet needed and once the servers go down it’s worthless. The 25% that are completely on disk with no further download I try to keep. Saves me room I guess but is sad from a video game preservation look of it.

@Jeronan you expect anyone to put a first party release in their holiday bundles? Not one company would or has done that since the 90’s unless it was the release of the system bundle.

@streetzman well first of all it’s not about the patience of the dl. I have game pass and play it religiously but that’s a rental service. If I’m buying something I better be able to play it 20 years from now after they stop supporting the servers. I’m not renting any game for 60 bucks. Maybe when it goes on sale for 10 bucks a year from now but then again known all three of them on their original platforms so I can play them there as well so no I’m not missing out at all.
I get it digital is easier for some people but even so if this or any game comes out and you have to dl the game off the internet then it’s pretty stupid to even sell it physically. I mean it would cost these companies literally maybe a dollar more to be able to put it on a bigger card for the switch. It’s nothing but a bait and switch tactic these companies use even though it says it requires downloads on the front. Pretty lame if you ask me, That’s pretty much my whole point.

This will be a hard pass for me if any downloads are required period. I was going to buy it day one for physical but now I’ll have to wait and see and if any download is required I will go buy something else instead.

@streetzman yea no. Screw the download crap. There is mo need for it at all for one, for two if I buy something I buy it to own it not rent it. I refuse to buy anything with a download until it is on an extremely cheap sale and for this that would be $10. I’ll just play it elsewhere like on the original platforms until then..

@Ocaz yes there is. When I buy something physically I want it physically. If I was going to buy it digital I would, there is no in between.
With that being said they will lose a few million sales if it requires any download. I will not be buying it for one and will just play it on the original formats.

7 years would be 2024 and that’s what i would expect. This will be their 4K system and will also be integrated with the switch online which is about time for them to rollover stuff. Hopefully they also allow us to carry over our digital purchases as well and probably will considering that is the biggest thing now.

@BloodNinja how does the service suck for the price paid exactly. You stating that is like me dying ps now sucks as well ( which it does). I would much rather pay for nintendos service ( which I have ) over anything playstation has offered.
The problem is people expect so much from Nintendo but nothing from companies like playstation. Why is it Nintendo gets more scrutiny? It’s because they are the most loved and respected ones of them all.
